Hello, I'm new to the Eurobricks forum, I really like microscale creations, and I'd like to build some, but due to the relatively small size of the scale, I'm not sure how to do it without feeling like it's (the model) too minimalist. Also, since i've never really built a microscale model (I usually stuck to minifig scale for some odd reason) I'd like some tips and techniques to help me make some microscale models without feeling super-minimalist. TL;DR (just in case) : Anyone have some tips and/or techniques to offer me when it comes to microscale building? PS: I didn't know where else to put this, if it's in the wrong forum section then feel free to move it. - AngleBrick

I have had a lot of trouble making custom weapons. Many of them do not turn out to well, and the ones I do make are basic. I want some help on making a custom weapon. Tips would be very beneficial.

I have noticed that people have often wanted to alter their minifigures but have had no clue as to how ( me included ). You may have seen my Red Skull thread which I eventually got a resolution from the kindness of Hammerstein NWC's heart. So, I thought to myself, why start a new thread every time someone needs help with one minifigure hence my thread. Now, I'm kind of in Superhero-frenzy mode at the mo what with my B-Day and Xmas just past in which I received many of the new Superhero sets and I'm desperate to add to my collection so to start off this thread, I will make some suggestions which my help my, and hopefully others, superhero collection. NOTE: Before I begin, I want to assure people that this thread is not for my personal gain or so that I can nick everyone's superhero ideas. It is designed so that if ANYONE is stuck with a fig, they can ask for a solution and hopefully someone will give them an answer. I would be happy to help anyone who I can but in no way feel obliged to let others 'steal' your ideas, I just thought it would be a nice thing to do. NOTE 2: If this thread gets decent critical response, I may start up other themed threads but this is just a prototype, as such. On with the ideas: The Riddler's Cane: Now when the Funhouse set was released, I recall many were disappointed that LEGO could go so cheapskate with us and not supply Riddler with a good cane and instead, give us the common red crowbar relating to nothing and almost spoiling the figure. I am in aid of the classic gold cane the Riddler should carry and already have the start of something (possibly) brilliant, which involves a gold hook. The Penguin: Unfortunately (for me), the old penguin is too expensive for anyone me and the new one is somewhat j u n i o r i s e d so I am looking for an alternative. I think I'll use the Magician's suit along with short purple legs and hands and a top hat but the head is a real problem and that's where the help comes in... So again, my suggestions were just to get the ball rolling so if anybody else needs help with a figure, don't hesitate to whack it on here. Thanks a lot, TT

Updated version of Jennifer Clark's Demag AC50

Here we go, I'm attempting to make an update of Jennifer Clark's legendary Demag AC50, and I have some questions to ask about the model. I want it to look similar, although updated to the best Lego currently has to offer, and with no modified parts. The questions are as follows: Where is the battery box for the carrier located? How big is the model? What goes in the section behind the front wheels? How tall is the boom? How many studs are between each axle? How long is the leadscrew used to raise the boom? This is all stuff that I was not able to determine from the pictures, so this is why I'm asking. The help of anyone who has built this model, or even the designer herself, would be appreciated. also, I have made a new, driven and steered front axle, but I'm not sure if the current drive I've come up with, which includes a lockable differential, will fit. I'm planning on moving the drive motor to the front, just behind the front axle, but I'm not sure if that will fit either. Any help is appreciated. -

Hey, it's me, just2good. I refreshed my page and it logged me out. So I tried to log myself back in, and it just wouldn't let me. That is not2good. I started to panic, and I check some recent topics that I posted in, and guess what? It said the poster was 'Guest_Guest_just2good_*_*'! Did my account just get deleted? Help! Oh, and it seems like 'darkdragon' is suffering from this, too. Oh, and y'all can ban this account immediately after I get my main one back!

What kind of suspension does an Ohskosh PLS truck use?

So, I'm kind of trying to make an Oshkosh PLS truck, and I've run into trouble with the suspension. I just can't figure out how it works. One of the brochures I've found seems to indicate that it uses walking beam axle (pendular) suspension, but in the same brochure it says the truck has a double cardon joint steering axle, which would indicate that it has independent suspension. I, however, think that the truck uses live axles, judging by the pictures I've seen. Can anybody clear this up?
