The Evil Emperor Zurg has stolen Christmas! Now it's up to Buzz Lightyear and his pointy-eared helper to deliver toys to all the children in the galaxy in his super-fast Star Command sleigh! Celebrate the holidays with mini-models from all your favorite Pixar movies including the iconic Luxo Jr. lamp, the famous Pizza Planet Truck, WALL-E with his plant, Remy from Ratatouille, Dory from Finding Nemo/Dory, Carl Fredricksen's house from UP, and a remote-controlled Omnidroid from the Incredibles. This is my dream Lego advent calendar for the Brothers Brick Create-A-Calendar contest. The rules are to create 5-10 mini-models consisting of no more than 20 pieces each. UPDATE: By popular demand, I have recreated these models in LDD so that you can use the instructions to build some of these yourself! Click here to download the LXF. LEGO PIXAR Advent Calendar by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr I hope you liked it and have a happy holiday! To Infinity and beyo-ho-ho-nd!

Hello everyone! I am new to eurobricks, however I have been a AFOL for many years now. I wanted to post my new MOC of The Incredibles Glory Days. The Incredibles may be my favorite movies and something about the flashback scenes hold a special place for me. I spent hours pulling as many details as I could from the movie to recreate my MOC as accurately as possible. I give you Lego The Incredibles Glory Days! Custom Minifigures: Movie Comparison: I have also posted to Lego Ideas if you would like to support. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/157150

To all who come to this happy thread, welcome! As you may know, I'm a huge Disney fan, so after the popularity of the Purist Superhero Figs thread, I figured it would be great to have a similar thread dedicated to creating purist Disney minifigs! Since it will probably be a while until we get another series of Disney CMFs (if we get one at all!) it's up to us to fill up the roster of minifigs based on Disney movies. Anything from TV shows, short films, animated features, and live-action films is welcome here! Flesh skin-toned figs are preferred since they look more accurate and fit in with the CMFs (unless the character has a different skin color in the source material of course), but yellow figs are accepted as well. Allow me to start by sharing some of my creations. First off, here is a pure Joy from Inside Out. I made her yellow since she always has that golden glow. The Cyborg hair actually suits her pretty well. By the way, if you want an official Joy minifig as well as the other emotions, please support my Inside Out Ideas project! Pure Joy by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr Next we have the Sultan and his trusted advisor Jafar along with Jago from Aladdin. The sultan's turban doesn't fit on his head completely due to the beard. He could use a cape, but sadly there are no tan capes. I'm pretty happy with Jafar, even though his skin is not the right tone. Sultan and Jafar by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr Lilo & Stitch is probably the most under-represented property in Lego, so here are some figs to fix that: Lilo herself, Pleakley, and Cobra Bubbles. Lilo looks a little... boyish, but that's just because the head and hair that are most accurate for her come from male minifigs. Lilo, Pleakley, and Cobra Bubbles by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr Also, this isn't mine, but somebody made a Beast using the minidoll head: So what combos can you come up with to make our Lego Disney dreams come true? Please share your creations along with a little description!

Atlantis: The Lost Empire is my favorite movie from Disney since a very long time ago, and I recently feel he need of building something from this movie... ...So let me introduce you the Sub Pod Sub Pod are fast small attack submarines. The crew is composed of one driver and one "gunner" , who fire the torpedoes and the harpoons. I try to recreate the shape of the submarine but I look more like a oval than a cylinder I put a LifeLites© orange brick to reproduce the orange light emitted by the inside of the canopy (sorry for the quality of this pic) If you have advice of suggestions, you'r the welcome ^^'

Hi all, Here is my LEGO version of Buzz Lightyear. About a year ago I noticed there weren't too many large-scale, detailed versions of the figure online. So I started putting bricks together, the old-fashioned way, no LDD etc. I started from the feet and legs up, wanting to use the 8x4x6 cone halves as shins. (Now that they're available in white, thanks to the Saturn V). The 8x4x6 cone halves really set the scale, since they provided the best shape for the legs out of every solution that I tried. Creating the round shape of the chest took quite a lot of work, but I'm pretty happy about the way it looks now. Things worked pretty smoothly, all the way up until the head. Boy, it's mighty tricky to create a nice-looking face out of bricks in that scale. So, after some attempts I gave into the grand compromise - to sacrifice the proportions and use the smaller-scale head and helmet from the set 7592. Perhaps the lack of Buzz Lightyear builds is largely due to the difficulty of creating a nice face to scale. I still haven't given up on the brick-built head. Maybe. What are your thoughts on my effort? You can see more and better pictures on my LEGO Ideas entry. If you think my Buzz has something good goin' on, I would also appreciate your support on the entry :) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/a514663e-9d97-4421-a89e-70278749244f

Piloted by RX-24, the Starspeeder 3000 offered direct service to the forest moon of Endor for 23 years from its original spaceport location in Disneyland. While the RX-series of droids were known for unstable personalities, the Endor-bound shuttles did *occasionally* reach their proper destination. Star Tours operated as one of the galaxy's premier travel agencies. See more images on Flickr ----- An addition to my growing collection of Disneyland ride vehicles, the Starspeeder 3000 was an obvious next model to tackle. Star Tours opened in January 1987, allowing visitors to fly into the Star Wars universe themselves for the first time. The ship's pilot Rex - voiced by Paul Reubens - ends up missing Endor and instead diving into the trench run to destroy the Death Star. The original Star Tours closed in 2010, transforming into a new version of the ride "Star Tours: The Adventures Continue." This Starspeeder model - in the original Star Tours livery - features working doors.

My first attempt at a Beaker Muppet MOC. I was inspired by the Henson Retrospectacle concert in New Zealand a few weeks ago, and by trying to use the new balloon piece as a Muppet nose. Now I know it works the next step is to make the head more cylindrical, shape the body and articulate the arms. Stay tuned...

(MOC) Disney's The Muppets and other Jim Henson creations
bulldoozer posted a topic in LEGO Licensed
Hi-ho everyone, It's my very first time to share any of my projects on the forums. I enjoy building projects based on the many works of Jim Henson, like the Muppets. He was a really big creative influence on me growing up. In many ways, I think Jim's creativity is a really great fit for LEGO. They both tickle the imagination. I hope you'll check out my work. If you like any of my projects, please consider supporting me on LEGO Ideas. Thank you so much!-

Minidolls into Minifigures project (pt1~2)
Dorayaki posted a topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Alright, where should I start? I've been leaving this place for quite a time, so I lost track with some of the old posts. But anyway, I think it might rather be simpler to put all things together in one thread. So I choose to slowly restart in this post from now on. Thanks to the help with a new local print provider, the newer redesigns has a better chance to improve (my decal skill is still awful ). As a new start, I begin with the original franchise with the minidoll lineup Friends, which just began a series of reboot design in this year. One of my favourite Disney movies from my childhood was Atlantis: The Lost Empire, I loved the industrial machines and the cartoon art style which was like a comic book and enjoyed the story and its characters a great deal. Set in the early 1900’s, the film follows a young linguist named Milo Thatch who dreams of one day fulfilling his grandfather’s dream of finding the lost city of Atlantis. I recently decided to fulfil my childhood dream of designing a full range of sets based on the movie in the style of official LEGO sets, all in LDD. I have a total of 6 sets finished so far and will be posting them here one by one from smallest to biggest, I hope you enjoy them! 01. Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire, The Shepherd's Journal The hero’s journey begins when he is approached by a mysterious woman called Helga Sinclair who introduces him to Preston Whitmore, a billionaire industrialist who knew his grandfather. In his office Milo is given the all-important artefact to begin the quest: The Shepard’s Journal, which includes maps and clues which only he can read which will guide an expedition to finding the lost city. This small set marks the beginning of the adventure featuring: - Preston B. Whitmore, Milo Thatch and Helga Sinclair minifigures - The Shepard’s Journal book - Printed tiles representing the portfolio papers of the expedition specialists and crew - A miniature model of the Ulysses, the massive submarine which the expedition begins the journey on - The fireplace, fish tank and a globe from the office as well as several small statues and other artefacts in Whitmore’s collection. The model contains approximately 105 pieces. 02. Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Sub Pod The expedition starts off aboard the Ulysses, a massive submarine, but is soon attacked by a gigantic mechanical sea monster known as the Leviathan. To defend itself the Ulysses deploys many small submarines called Sub-Pod’s which are armed with torpedoes to battle the monster. Features include: - Gaetan "Mole" Moliére and Vincenzo "Vinny" Santorini minifigures - 8 flick-fire torpedoes mounted on the two main fins of the pod which can also rotate - Opening cockpit which can fit both minifigures - Spinning propeller The model contains approximately 194 pieces. If you like these models please support them on LEGO Ideas here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/151747 and here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/151758 Thanks for viewing!

Hello, all. I thought I'd share a creation of mine based on the Niceland Apartment from the Disney animated film, Wreck-it Ralph. This was made in LEGO Digital Designer and rendered with Bluerender. It consists of 2357 pieces, and can be taken apart for play on the bottom floor and the penthouse. The top floor features a multicolored dance floor, a DJ Booth, a potted plant, and a small stage with a green balloon on each side. The bottom floor features two crates to store ammo for a play feature, another potted plant, an abstract sculpture, a staircase, and the 30th anniversary cake. I also included three little catapults to put on top of the building, so Ralph can launch bricks at Felix to dodge. The set includes three minifigures: Wreck-it Ralph, Fix-it Felix, and Vanellope. This project can be supported at LEGO Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/153782 Thank you for checking this out, and please don't hesitate to make suggestions for improvement, as I hope to make updates in the future! I rarely build original stuff, so I kind of new to this "MOCing" thing.

The first shop along the main street of V City is a small one with a big name. The new Disney Store offers different products of its several franchises, including PIXAR and Star Wars. The client (of course I am making this up) wants a small modern building, but contains some essence of its brand. Undoubtedly the castle becomes the starting point for my design brainstorming session. My initial idea is a little box with a castle, and I began to break down the important elements from the castle to form the design language. I converted the moat into the planters by the sides of the entrance, and created a frame to signify a portal to the magical worlds. That can be seen from some castles where you will have a big portal at the bridge across the moat. The facade profile of the building comes from the two side towers above, and I only extracted the cut-corner shape. This slightly chamfered entrance also helps the portal stand out better. The building interior is simple, and is divided into several themes. First it is the Star Wars zone, where guests can find a lot of Star Wars toy and apparels. You can also design your own lightsaber at the “Build Your Own Lightsaber” shelf, and I made reference from the existing shops in Disneyland. Another side is the traditional Disney products, from traditional Disney stories. You can find girl items and dolls (you may ask about teddy bear, and yes Disney has one called Duffy and Shelliemay!), and also some cups and bottles. The deco is simple with wood planks, with the famous clock of Cinderella. Up the stairs will be 1/F, where you are greeted by the Toy Story shelf and the Lightyear figure. You can try the 3-eye Alien headpiece! Turning around is the much anticipated Frozen shelf, with all the icy items you can purchase! See that girl who is in love with the Snowgie cushions? You can also meet Elsa, Anna and Olaf and take pictures with them! Then you will see the little food corner, facing the staircase to the roof top. I spent quite some time to work out the fixtures, and I am happy that they look very much like the real thing inside Disneyland. The roof is a little green playground for kids, and you can meet the two iconic characters of Disney, Mickey and Minnie! Kids are queuing up to take great pictures with them, and later you will see even more other characters around the year. While I can design a simple hinged door on the rooftop, I created this version so that the panel can be folded up once more to avoid visual intrusion (if it is one big panel, it will stand up and be seen behind the tower on the front elevation! Not good!) Of course, I need a photo with my wife, Mickey and Minnie! Let's have a group photo, all the Disney characters with the shop! (okay, Buzz forgot to come out as he is still inside on the 1/F!) Hope you all enjoy it!

I didn't pick up the entire Disney CMF line, or even most of it, but I couldn't resist snagging the minifigures from two of my favorite Disney movies: ALICE IN WONDERLAND and PETER PAN. My goal for these mini-vignettes was twofold: (a) showcase both minifigures in scenes evocative of their respective films, and (b) for each minifigure pair, take up a footprint no larger than two CMF bases (that is, 4x6). Here's what I came up with: Strictly speaking, of course, Alice did not have her bottle and cookie when she met the Cheshire Cat, and Neverland's Skull Rock was a lot larger -- but of course, I wasn't going for literal representations here. :) If anyone else has done Disney vignettes at this small scale, I'd love to see them!

Hi everyone. I don't post much in this forum, although I do dabble in constraction figures from time to time. After I watched Disney's latest animated film Big Hero 6 which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film of 2014 (an award that clearly should have gone to The Lego Movie as we all know) I was inspired to build one of the main characters, Baymax. And since he is a heroic robot with armor plating, it only seemed fitting to build him in a Hero Factory style. Baymax by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Here are some reference images of him: Here are some views of the front and back of him. His torso structure is based on Stormer XL's. Baymax Front by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Baymax Back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr And here are the same views with his wings spread out: Baymax Front Wings by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Baymax Back Wings by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr An action pose where he is getting ready to fire his fist: Baymax Firing Fist by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate this MOC? This is my first CCBS Moc, so be kind (Honestly, I don't even know what CCBS stands for ). I might try my hand at making a System MOC of Baymax one day. I hope you are satisfied with your care.

Hi, I have been working on a few additions to my Fairytale world that I posted in January. One of them is this Cottage that belonged to the 7 dwarves in Snow White. This is my first effort at a 'house/cottage' building and provided a few challenges. I based it on the Disney artwork of the cottage. There is not an interior to it, but I may put a room in it in the back for my daughter to play with. Thanks for looking, there are so many amazing creators out there who build incredible buildings and provide great inspiration and as I started working on this little project, I appreciated their skill an awful lot more. Thanks for looking. martinharrisharrissw-1 by Martin Harris, on Flickr
