I have the Aquaman figure, but you should be able to get all his goldbricks via hire-a-hero.

Things I wonder about (food for thought for others): - Will the gold bricks of the story pack levels count towards the goldbrick count (formerly 480) or be stand-alone? - Will the keystones of the story packs matter outside the story pack levels? All story packs seem offer a cheaper fun-pack alternative for adventure world access. I admit I don't really care for any of the announced story packs, but I may want to achieve 100% again. The cheaper, the better. - When Wave 6 comes out, will there be in-game info about all the Year2 characters and their abilities, like we had for Year1? I absolutely need to have all info upfront to make an informed purchase. Dimensions is too expensive otherwise. Also, planning my Year1 purchases last year was really fun. - How will the world selection wheel look in Year2 and Year3, when there will be 45-ish adventure worlds and 30-ish levels? Maybe there'll be several layers of circles, like how the levels and the adventure worlds are already separated. But I worry that it will get too crowded. Heck, it already is too crowded. - What will be Hermione's vehicle/gadget be? The Time Turner, or Crookshanks? Since Hermione will likely be similar to Harry Potter, I need her vehicle/gadget to be useful, or I'll just skip her pack. - How many of the Year1 abilities will be useful in the Year2 content? And what about Year3? I carefully bought my Year1 packs based on their abilities, so that I'd get 100%. Hire-A-Hero came a bit too late for me, but I see now that I could have done fine without buying Unikitty and Legolas. If many Year1 abilities or the Year2 equivalent of Rainbow and Pole Vault will never be required again, I'll just start using Hire-A-Hero from the start. - What general-purpose LEGO game abilities are still missing (i.e. not franchise-based abilities)? From the other LEGO games I've played: Strength (Hagrid or Rex Fury style), Light-sequence-Rememberer (e.g. Rune Reader in HP, Space Boxes in LC:UC) - Will the Mystery Dimensions be expanded? - Will the 480-goldbrick Disco Vorton stay intact?

Thank you, but I've played the game to 100% (you couldn't know that). The point was and is, without reliable sources, it's not confirmed, it's just a rumor. With LC:UC, it's very likely to be true, and I expect it to be true, but still just a rumor. Thank you very much for digging that up. It's not Twitter as BatmanFanboy claimed, and it's clearly paraphrased, but it's good enough for me. For whatever reason, for the last few thread pages, I though we were talking about Chase being able to switch between characters (e.g. Rex Fury, Frank Honey, etc.), but I see now that it's just suits/uniforms (BatmanFanboy never claimed otherwise). That is not as unexpected. I am very excited about Dimensions LC:UC and will buy it on its release date. I just don't want to get my expectations up for what may not be in the final pack.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence; the burden of proof is on you. You make a wild claim, you provide the evidence, or your words hold zero weight. With all due respect, your word that it is official has the same weight as BatmanFanboy. Without a source (who? when? quote?), there is no way for readers to estimate how reliable the info is in the first place. The info could be from an know-nothing-person who just happens to be involved with the offical product, or it could be pre-production info that could change anytime , or it could be taken out-of-context.
  7. With all the reports of sightings in Germany, unfortunately, my local Kaufhof and Karstadt didn't have any on Saturday. I'll try again next weekend.

I just noticed that year 2 probably won't have many characters that can dive (several adventure worlds float in water). I can only think of Sonic as a possibility. I am not familiar with Adventure Time and Teen Titans Go. Does anyone know a character who can "breath" underwater there?

I am not a mod, but please please rethink your tone BEFORE you click "Add Reply". It's incredibly rude to use the words "fact" and "truth" and "no way" and "know" etc. when you are essentielly just making a guess. An informed guess, yes, but still just a guess. Not everyone here reads every post or can remember every single detail. So reading your words and then having to waste time to research if what you said is actually 100% true (which almost never is at this point) is INCREDIBLY RUDE. Stating you don't want to be rude doesn't change this. And labeling something "the weirdest thing ever" is just offensive (plus I am certain you have seen weirder things *snicker*liar*snicker*). I've seen some great outside-the-box thinking on this forum, and seeing you repeatedly cutting people off with an all-encompassing "that's riduculous" impedes brain-storming. This is what I mean. This is new to me. Yes, it's likely going to be a fun pack, with Chase and the helicopter and everything. But was it ever confirmed? Like promo pics of the set, or a twitter post of the producers? If so, link please. Otherwise, stop saying "confirmed".

I see. His talking of "in the pack" threw me off, because in my mind, the pack is physical and playable (incl. transformations), and NPCs are virtual and part of the software and therefore not part of The PackTM. But the 25+ characters should have been a hint for me. For the interested, here is the full dialog (http://www.thebrickf...arthur-parsons/): Q: Some people are wondering if Sonic does well, do you guys plan to maybe expand to other Sonic characters in the franchise? JM: It's not something we have on the radar at the moment, but there are other Sonic characters in that pack. Tails is in that pack. Knuckles is in that pack. Amy is in that pack. Obviously Doctor Eggman is there. We have Chaos, Michelle. There are a number of characters in there. I think we have like 26 or something like that? 25+ characters from the Sonic universe. Cause the hub world, the adventure world that Sonic brings with him, has loads of quests on it. And those quests are given to you by characters from the Sonic universe. So there are some surprises there as well, but yeah, we have a number. We're not doing a new pack per se yet, but maybe we will in the future. I don't know.

With this new information, here is a list of characters who allow in-game character changes: Confirmed: - Doctor Who (12 Doctor incarnations) - Peter Venkman (4 Ghostbusters of 1984) - Abby Yates (4 Ghostbusters of 2016) - Sloth (plus 7 Goonies) - Sonic (25+ characters incl. Tails) Plausible: - B.A. Barachus (4 A-Team members, plausible based on trailer intro group shot) - Powerpuff Girls (3 team members, plausible because, uh, logic) - Chase McCain (plus Rex Fury, may be wishful thinking)

Non-English speaker here, but I understood this like he was talking about year 1+2 == 2 year plan. No? Including Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Doctor Eggman, Chaos, Michelle. They are not physically in the Somic pack, but I guess are chooseable like the different Doctors. JM said that at least for the LOTR level, they paid attention to create new places where the full LOTR game didn't take the player before (e.g. Minas Tirith). That makes me excited for Harry Potter, where in the main games, IMO the best part was walking around in the Hogwarts hub world.

Okay, so it's been known for a while that you can switch between the new Ghostbusters characters. Nothing special, we could already cycle through the Doctors and the old Ghostbusters. What hasn't been clear to me was that all Ghostbusters are on the screen at the same time, similiar to e.g. Lego Harry Potter. See The lady also says that the blonde Ghostbuster has unique abilities that the others don't have. Has anyone seen footage of the new Ghostbusters outside their Story Level? Like, will there be one or four new Ghostbusters on the screen in the Adventure worlds, and what about their individual abilities?

^^ I read the linked article twice, and it doesn't mention new packs for year 1 franchises (did I miss something?) The 21 battle arenas could be exclusively for the 16 new franchises (plus DC Comics because of Green Arrow), just that some franchises get several battle arenas instead of only one. LEGODalekbuster523's quote ("we can't give away all our secrets :)", post #4446 in this thread) proves exactly nothing, and we can read it any way we want. So, unfortunately, we still know nothing about the future of year 1 franchises.

Source? (Apart from the obvious E3 "exclusives" of the DC Comics franchise.)
