So, Yes it is possible ! I did some experimenting myself ( sadly not with the monorail stuff ) and from the picture you can see the incline a bit. I think you can always trying E-mailing this person through the site, perhaps he can narrow it down for you, or even specify everything you need. ( I guess this is not big scary secret nobody knows about ) I for one think that that kind of info should be a bit more "open sourced" , who needs it, can get it. Wow.. nice !! I've been thinking about some landscaping myself and this is right up my ally !! The model lends itself for a whole lot of backgrounds , not only maya , was thinking along the lines of Yavin 4 ( Star Wars ) and I think with some adjustments , even Post-Apoc. It's got the "simple but effective " factor !! Put some more jungle trees on it, take out some stones, add some brick build boulders, and you're all set . Grtz Saint

Whoa ! I like it. It's like a a "special team drophip" With some minor adjustments ( color , loosing the guns atop ) you've got a sweet little mean machine. I personaly don't like the flickfire missles , but heck , in overal it's a good Mod. With a little more thought, I would replace the topcannons for a bit smaller one's . Hello Eurobricks !! I'm searching for a book, not any book, but a book with the incredible crossections of Star Wars Vehickles ! To be specific , the one with the Clone Turbo Tank on front. I'm looking to buy it, but without a Credit Card , I can't get far, I only have paypall, so my options are limited . I prever a seller here in the Netherlands, ( who is willing to part with it ) for a normal rate , but any seller will do if you accept paypal. If you feel the need to help me on my way to this book, PLEASE ! help me. Also , I'm looking for others aswell, I have the one with the MF on the cover, but I want the one with the CTT on the cover most urgently. I really want this book, but sadly the release date was 2005, and living in an area that doesn't have a lot of good bookstore's ( like the American Bookstore ) it's really difficult to get hold of. Well... Just a small update I have my own LEGO-room right now, and I'm starting to figure out were everything will go. As a SW-figs collector, I wanted a few displays so I can display them proper... I have those but they take up to much room, so right now I'm building my first big showcase !! The most time is spend figuring out what and where to store my parts, and it's getting to the point that I really want to know what I'm going to do with 9 kilo's of 1x16 technic beams I really need a good plan someday !!!

Well, I started with the cockpit, , next up are the wings ! We've got a lot to do around the house, so I hope to be working on it soon ! Getting back at the "feeling like minfig " discussion , I would like to state that I think that it is to small, I buy a UCS thing, don't expect it to have minifigs, but expect a LOT of small details in this line, hell, the VW camper had lots more ! grtz Saint.

Hello Eurobrickers !! I had the fortune to pick up the new 10227 B-Wing at my local Toy'sXL ( former Toys'r'us here ) !! Even more fun was the fact that I got a 25 % discount, pricing it down to a price I was accepting to pay.... but was it worth it ?? First I want to thank JunkstyleGio for lending me his table and Fotocamera and putting up with me for an evening !! Please accept my apolegies because I have some trubble with linking and placing pictures, so I just want to give my thoughts and ideas on this model and not give any review of sorts, perhaps in the future . http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=525589 main page . The build is in 10 main steps, many , many baggies, instructions and DSS with carton separate . First off, we start by building the engine section : http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5808541. I started without looking at the instructions and didn't see I had to build 2 simular sections, usely I build such sections at once , but okay, taken for granted. The problem here is the hinge sections, quite wobly, doesn't take much to get loose, and when the section is finished, a pain to get back in place. My tiles are slightly curved, so it does not give a straight line. I tried pushing them together, redo the section, nothing helps.... Gap stays . Okay, we have that here to, instead of placing a bracket in the middle somewhere , the back doesn't have much to hold it together.. Sad , because the front is almost perfect... Almost... 3 air intakes with white in it , should be black . It feels like almost Minifig scale, has a fault in the building description , has very poor gyro system ( works with gravity... I guess our gravity here in Holland is off, because the system does not go flying around like crazy, its very lazy ... could have been lots better !! Last items on the list are the 2 smaller wing and the stand. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5808574 . These being the most concern to me... and most frustating ! .. The 2 wing don't get the SNOT Technique like the main wing... Really LEGO ?? They do the job, thats it !! I think the wings should be redone, reworked, do it all over !! How much more trubble is it ??? we both agreed that this should be the best part, leaving it like this ... We had it on the display and we both had the idea that there is a lot missing . ( sorry for the rant, this was most of it ) The stand is nice enough... take good care of the position , do it wrong and the model stays on the ground .. I pushed the pins on the "lying down " beam back by 2 , the wing is more steady and of the ground like that ( not in this picture ) , I just came up with that. So , I didn't aply the DSS, Why ?? Because I think there to little orange dots in the DSS, 3 more had done the trick IMHO. Well, I had fun building the model, the lack of a landing gear has me a bit troubled, at this price range I want full options !! At first glace its a great grey model, but don't look to close, some colours start popping up !! Red, yellow and tan creep up and started annoying me after a while. The cockpit is off, weapons were not that much, needs to be re-done aswell Pearl gold ?? Hmmm . I think its a great model, after a overhaull !! The 2 smaller wings shout out they need work done , the main wing needs some kind of bracing in the back , the colours should be replaced with dark gray, black or gray and the stand does not give the model it real potential !! well, that's it folks ! IMHO this sweet model does not take the icing on the cake, a good overall model to be put on the shelf, to be left alone and not to be taken under close scrutiny.. I guess this model was a bit of a stephchild I would do it different , and I'm going to to that, starting with a new stand, rebuild the smaller wings, see if I can do something about the cockpit and work out all the colours . And work out the gaps . Don't take all the negative from me, I love the model, but it deserves better !! Grtz Saint

Germany doesn't have a hotel, there's a lot of accomedations through the S@H site , and through local travel agents you also can book lots of different things. You can go from a simple bed and breakfast to a full blow hotel. Like I said, I've been there twice, first time I spend a night in a hotel , second time a few days in a B&B. The quality in both times were great ! Germans are correct, clean nice people. I think the only advise I can think of is this : Check if they at least speak English, I had a lot of trubble the first time and there wern't a lot of Dutch people around to ask stuff . The Town of Ausburg is just around the corner, ( never been there ) , but I found out that the prices vary if you search a little further from the park.. ( closer is somewhat more expensive ). If you take picture's , don't forget to take some of the shops !!! grtz Saint

My experience is that Germany is better. I've been to both, and although Billund is the original, Germany is way better. I've been there twice and both times I've not been dissapointed about the LEGO store and the pick-a-brick store. The PaB store has a LOT of parts , and the discount-tent is great too !! The Billund trip was ... well... nah... not what I've been expecting really... I've been checking the England one too, I concider it very expensive.. so perhaps in the future just a daytrip of sorts. Put it on a torso, create a little bit of friction ( like snapping it half , but not so drastic ) and pull the helmet ( or gorrilla head ) off. Works for me . grtz Saint

I still believe DutchBricks is a better name. You guys did a good job on working people up , but please take in concideration that wherever people flok together, you get pro and cons , as a social " experiment " I can't see the fun of it, and then try to reflect it on the people who reacted poorly in your eyes. I like cracking a good joke on people, but letters and words are the worst kind of media to get your point across, you can't see the emotion on the faces, you can't tell if this is sincere or not. For years now I wish people a Good weekend on monday's , just to see who reacts, who feels the joke and whom are serieus. If they react with, " but's monday !" , I react with " Day after tommorrow and 2 night of sleep and it's the weekend !!! " just to get the people think on the positive side of live. Be very, very carefull about this kind of jokes gentlemen, it can backfire on you ! ( and that would be a shame ) grtz Saint

Well, I never said " It has no minifig/ it's not minifig scaled , I said : It feels like minifig . As a € 200 set, I expect nothing but the best , like buying a new car without windows nobody in its right mind would buy that. I wanted this model, I bought this model, I'll get it right ( in my mind ) , I don't like the gaps, I don't like the colours peeping through, so overhauling is the only option IMHO. I've been doing the SW -figs collecting a few years now , and since a couple of years started MOC-ing my own models. I haven't got the best of camera's , but a friend of mine, wants to help out with taking pictures, what takes a lot of logistic sadly. I'm in the proces of building a larger base ( diorama ) for my CTT , now with 3 LAAT-I and 1 LAAT-C , witch arn't on my brickshelf yet, again the lack of time and logistic involved are difficult. I attended the Brickmania fests a couple of times and I see the enthousiasmem for Star Wars by kids and adults alike, so I keep building ! I have too many projects in my head, little time and fewer bricks to do all of it . If I have a new MOC I post it here on EB, not being affraid of some critisism ( if it is not pissing vinigar or nitpicking ) I try to do something with positive advise . There is a whole universe in the SW universe ( ) and LEGO cannot possible make everything, so my advise is just to keep building !! Grtz Saint
