Hello there It's been an awfull long time since I posted something over here. This is a custom projects I started years ago and finally finished (more or less, I still have troubles making decent pictures). The main theme is still the same, Duplo duo's. I used supersculpey for Yoda's head and Luke's hairpiece. For Luke's lightsaber I modded an antena with miliputt. At first I gave Yoda a cape, trying to do so in "the spirit" of Lego Duplo, but it didn't work well at all. So I just inspired myself by the minifigure. Hope you like it.

Hello, I rarely post here, since I don't have that much time anymore to make customs. But lucky for me, my daughter really likes drawing Duplo and Lego characters. That gives me some comfort For her last creation we entered a contest and we need likes to win it. Didn't really know where to place this, here on in the minifig customize section, but anywere, here goes: Presenting: The Dynamic Duo This is something I've been planning and working on for quite a while. Since I have kid now I can't find the time to make customs anymore. But I still wanted to do so, so to make a long story short, I'm making customs for the smaller Lego fans now, trying something new. Ofcourse they come with their own uniqe vehicle, the Batmobile. Also made a box, I think about putting this idea on Cuusoo (after I edit out the logo's), so I want to make it look like it's real. And another picture: I customized some other Duplo's aswell, I hope to post pictures this weekend. The plan is to make duo's, that is why I started with The Dynamic Duo. Let me know what you think,.

It's been a long while since I made a custom minifig, but when watching Predator last week (again). I decided that the Predator needed a descent minfig version and an update from the lame one I did some time ago. What was I thinking... So I made a new one... Made a new and hopefully better head Anyway, I'm mush happier with the result this time. It's been a while that I made a custom I really want to keep myself, and not give away or sell. Here are some more pictures: And a reference picture. But, as can be seen in Predator 2 and the AVP Movies, at the end, a Predator never seems to be alone... But his companions still need some finishing up. From left to right Scar Predator from AVP. Predtor 2, Predator 1, Elder Predator from Predator 2 & a first tryout And eventualy, the Predator also needs to fight some aliens from time to time... And a box.

woow, heavy, they really are doing a good job in ripping of. From a certain point of vieuw it's really admirable, the hard work they put in it. And from the otehr point of vieuw it's defenaitly wrong. It's strange that they can get away with this so easely. The are stealing from Lego, Disney, WB etc... mayor companies, They must be able to work togeather and get some super lawyers on this.

Interesting topic indeed. Don't have much to ad. I also don't really like those reselers/investors, but collectors should know that by now that you have 2 years to buy a set, if you really want it, don't wait and buy it straight away, don't give those reselers a chanse. Couldn't we spice this topic up with a poll?

Thanks, and yes, it doesn't stand under te regulations of lego iedas anymore. I sumbited my Batman idea a year ago, but shortly after they changed the rules, they took it down. It's not really a kid movie, the whole idea is making Duplo not really suited for children. Anyway, if you haven't seen Donnie Darko yet, go do it NOW! ;)

It's been a long while, but I finally managed to finish another Duplo Duo. So presenting, from one of my altime favourite movies... Donnie and Frank. If you haven't seen the movie yet, go see it now! No really, it's a great movie. and a box offcourse.

In the Fun stores Belgium there is a real overload, every store has 10 boxes i think. It was prety easy to get all of them. That said, i really like the figures, but Homer is my least favorite sculpt. His head goes slightly bigger upwars which gives him a little nerdy look instead of the fat look he should have.

I really like this set, but the box is so borring.

Gotte be honnest, these figures are above my expectations. I know I don't have mush good things to say about the new sets and upcomming lines. As a Simpson fan and Lego fan I was against combining the two. I saw no point in it and I thought it wouldn't do eitehr one good. But I have to say I was wrong. The minifigures look very good, almost perfect (almost, since I notices some hips don't fit that good). Anyway, also a cool move that we don't need to buy expensive sets to get all the main charecters. Good job Lego!

One year is not that long, but correct from a commercial point of vieuw. If a set takes lognger to get that many votes, it will probably not sell that well I can't find anything about using customized parts, did I mis it or is the rule gonne?

The Duplo Catwoman and Joker are cute, but I really don't like the Batman, A little disapointed, I was looking forward to this, even if it ruined my Cuusoo plans, I will only buy the Catwoman.

Looks very good. It's indeed simple, but very accurate.

Hello, I am really considering to downsize my Star Wars Lego army. The time seems right to spend that money on other more important things and I have noticed I wouldn't mind anymore if I didn't have every OT figure. The problem is, I don't want to waste my time selling every figure individualy, even if I would get more money in the end. Problem numebr 2 is, do people actualy give that mush money for huge lots. I have the impression that European collectors, like me, don't seem to buy huge / expensive lot's. So my questions are, is it worth it, will people pay thatmush money, even if the price is resonable. and were is the best place to sell, eBay Eurobricks, Ebay USA (expensive shipping) I would sell these (only the most interesting): soldiers: 30 stormtrropers 10 snowtroopers 10 scouttroopers 20 rebel soldiers 10 hoth soldiers (old style) 10 hoth soldiers (new style) 10 endor soldiers 10 Episode 2 clones 10 Episode 3 clones 10 Clone Wars clones special figures: Gold C3PO Silver stormtrooper Shiny Darth vader White Boba Fett Red Darth Vader (helmet) Red Boba Fett (helmet) Plain green Boba Fett (helmet) Plain flat silver Boba Fett (helmet) Boba Fett With printed legs from Cloud City (this is the one which makes this disision so hard) 1 Dewback 1 Wampa and lots of other figures... Hello, I'm working on a new Duplo Duo, but I seem to be stuck. I'm making a Boba Fett (the second one is still top-secret) but I have troubles painting the figure. The ainting itself is not the real isseu, the problem is how far can I go with the detail... It's really driving me nuts. The helmet is no problem, in fact I'm really happy with the head. The torse is also not a real problem, but the arms and legs are reallt hard. I want to stay relatively tru to the Duplo spirit, so not to mush detail on the limbs, but I have the feeling it's a little to simple compared to the head and torso. I don't k.now if it's my imagination, since I've been looking at the guy for to long. here's a front vieuw from the side: and the other side, the lighting is not great... I sculpted the head myself, it's my second try, the first one turned out to big. All comments are welcome. Thanks,

I fixed the problem, I will take new pictures, but since the Cuusoo rules have changed, I don't really feel like putting all my energy into a project which will I never get to post.

These are very good and look like real lego. The one thing I don't like is the Thing's colour, the orange is to dark, you loose some of the detail because of that.

Thanks for the info Dino, I was wondering if 5 € a piece was resonable or not. I would buy the same way as you propose, but I wonder if people would make that investement, since it's far worth more than 300. I know I would never dare to do that.

Good point, it already bothers me that on Bricklink I can't know if the bricks are old or new quality plastic.
