    42110 - Land Rover Defender

I feel like there is quite a bit of friction in the Drivetrain, more that I would be comfortable with. When you pushed the model in your Video, the engine had some delay from the movement of the car, and when it started to move, it spun a bit faster than normal for a short time. I believe this is due to wind up in the Drivetrain, caused by friction. I may be wrong, but it sounds just like my last Transmission prototype&drivetrain, which I scrapped because of too much friction...

    [WIP] Datsun 240Z

This car was alredy made a while ago, as the B-Model of the Orange Porsche. You better give it all you've got . Just joking man, dont let me preassure you and just do your thing What do you have planned for the inner Workings? That engine does not look like it has any moving Pistons inside of it. An Inline 6 is pretty long, but that Hood is also pretty long soooo.... Also, watch out your model does not get too heavy for that suspension setup, a 1:8 car can get heavy pretty quick. A single Hard sping per wheel will compress quite a bit on a model >2.5 kg, wich you will probably end up with. Just saying.

    [WIP] Subaru Impreza WRX STI

Looking good! You could get yourself some of these black pins from Aliexpress reasonably cheap, just saying But you probably dont want to mix them with your LEGO bricks, understandable. Such a Black Car is impossible to keep clean, its always dusty, its the same with my NSX

Thats troublesome...These hard Hozes could work, but idk, I've never tried to use them fot Wheel Arches....

    Advice needed, MOC car

Have you thought about using 1L Liftarms stacked on flex axles for the Wheel arches? This option would allow for a continuous stripe, just put a black 1L liftarm at the correct height

Boi if you do a 4 cylinder conversion, but don't upgrade to the big Technic Cylinders, I have no hope for you

42099 CV joints damage after use

Well, If they really intended to do that, they should at least have included 3 spare connectors per wheel. There is no point in using parts meant to be replaced, without including spares.
  11. This is the only Forum I've ever been a part of, so I have never known anything else. I joined not that long ago, and before I realized it this Forum became like a Safehaven I visit multiple times per day. I took everything here for granted. Thank you all for being awesome people
  12. Congrats from me as well, this contest produced some amazing results
  13. I dont think I have been here long enough to realize a major change of posting behaviour. I did notice some useless fightings, and I think I was part of one once, because of a stupid misinterpretation. We all need to chill. Well, all I can do is try to not be part of the problem

    [MOC] LEGO TECHNIC AUDI RS7

Wow, thats actually really cool The Audi caracteristics are nicely done, I am just not a fan of Stickers, but ok. Can you show some internal mechanisms, especially of the air suspension setup please?

Ooh you are right, my bad. I somehow did not notice the black biece behind it, it was kinda hard to see at the video moment i noticed it.

    42110 - Land Rover Defender

Its pretty cool the Gearbox is still somewhat visilble, but the rear door mechanism is executed so badly. That small curved slope is held in place by a single stud, and has to keep the entire rear door in place. So a single stud is supposed to keep the trunk shut... I noticed that too... Its a pretty simple gearbox setup, so why?
  17. I wanted to build a Mazda RX 7 FD ever since I finished the NSX...but a RX 7 needs a rotary engine... So I was forced to make one :) I have been working on this little guy way too long, and when I finally got it working today, I literally had tears in my eyes Its still WIP, but I am so happy right now. Hope you enjoy. Gray Gear

    Rotary Fake Engine

RX7 progress is slow but steady. A twin rotor version of this engine is already mounted, connected to a 5+R manual transmission. I thought aubout going for a quad-rotor engine, but the rear two rotors wouldn't have been visible anyways, so I scrapped that Idea.

[WIP] 2019 Formula 1 car (help wanted)

The only parts you want to trust with the force of the hard springs are Liftarms/Technic Bricks and axles, and maybe, maybe some pins.
  20. Well, sadly I had to cancel my AE 86, otherwhise these Wheels might have been useful.

    42099 B model-Sonic dune buggy

I dont want to hate on your model, but you should rethink your front suspension setup. In the first Pic it looks okay, but in the other ones the suspension is tilted forwards, which is a very bad thing to do. You want it to be at least straight , or even better slightly tilted backwards, so the shocks coming from the front when driving can directly compress the shock absorbers, without putting much stress on the frame.
  22. While I do think think the Defender Model does not look half bad, I do hate that it is a smaller Scale than the other two cars. That way the new Rims are useless for me. I only build in 1:8 Scale, and I really want another set of Rims than the Porsche's.
  23. Wow. I am not big into the offroad cars thing, but out of all the ones I have seen so far, this has to be one of my favorites. Mean looks, impressive performance and a clean body and color choice, without any blue Pins messing up the look. Nice.

    [WIP] Fox 8x8 V2

A friend of mine when I was like 8 years old had this RC Car featuring these Tires, and I got to try it out. Was pretty amazing, the Tires were pretty soft, and the Car pretty fast, we had so much fun. Good memories
  25. At a public place? What did you do? Throw them all in a Backpack or a Box and just take them with you? I guess that would be possible when building at such a small scale.
