Coast Guard subtheme revival anyone? I think we should also bring the garage subtheme back - since car repair is something that seems to be popular.

Ikr! Lego is really trying too hard with the City theme. I think Lego promotes certain subjects in the City theme because kids want to see lines of work that they generally can't witness as soon as they walk out of their houses; thus the police, fire, space and exploration sets. The lines of work usually portrayed through town and great vehicles are lines of work they can see any time (i.e. tour bus, burger truck, garbage truck, etc) so City doesn't promote those as much as they do the emergency, space and explorers sets.

LOL! Police, Fire, Great Vehicles and Explorers is a thing for City that happens every year now. And that's how it's been since the late 2010s. I will admit that I miss the early HEY generation where City used to explore with different lines of work every year instead of just dropping the same thing.

What I said had been my point for the many years I've been on this forum. I came in during the late 2010s when the oversaturation of police and outdoorsy stuff for City was a thing. First post was an argument that I had with several users who think that City was fine the way it is. Imo. 2022 good full wave. For the past two summers, we had good waves too. What I'm preparing for are the vehicles for 2025 to look pretty odd as they gave power to the former designer of Speed Champions sets to design City. I use older vehicles for my town instead. Not a fan of the fenders and splashers on the newer vehicles. Maybe I'm just nitpicking. But that's the situation. Imo, the theme itself needs an overhaul.

Sounds like a good way to squeeze an art shop into your city.

What is your favorite Space set? (One only!)
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to SpacePolice89's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
In my opinion, nothing will top the 60080 Spaceport from 2015. -
OMG!!!! You heard about the theory too I see! Good job putting Olaf in there too!

I'm with you there. I doubt they should be hesitant to make like cutlery knives for kitchen workers considering that they still include swords in castle based and Ninjago sets.

Corner Garage because I've been a car enthusiast since I played Gran Turismo 3 as a child.

Could work for City. But for modulars, I'd have to agree with @Aanchir statement on brick built cakes.

@Aanchir How are ya? Long time and no see! Yes I agree! I love the various options that the citizens of Lego City have now. They also have an Asian hunan stand in the 60380 Downtown set, which I'm a proud owner of. I also have the 2022 farmer's market van which I also use as a mobile salad bar in my town. All these new food molds are a sign that the citizens of Lego City are just fine healthwise.

REVIEW: 60423 Downtown Streetcar and Station
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Pchan1983's topic in LEGO Town
Yes I am from the states. We call them rapid transit and subways here. Different countries have different names for them. In the UK and most of Europe, they're called underground trains, trams or railcars. In Asia, they call them Metros.- 13 replies

Yeah I actually got the pic from Google. The 2022 farm subtheme introduced some new molds such as strawberries and a boiled egg.

REVIEW: 60423 Downtown Streetcar and Station
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Pchan1983's topic in LEGO Town
I wanna get this set, but given that there are no railways in my town, the buy would be a bit redundant. This set feels more like a rapid transit train than a streetcar.- 13 replies

Lego Food Mold Discussion and Ideas
Driver Brandon Grumman posted a topic in General LEGO Discussion
So far I have seen topics on animals, disable minifigures, space sets and a new musical instrument topic. But I have yet to see one on food molds. I love the food molds. My favorite one is the pizza, which has been a staple food piece for ages. Recently, there have been a slew of other food pieces such as fruits, veggies and even bread pieces. But lemme know below what other food molds are out there or even give your ideas. Let's get this discussion up and running.- 14 replies
