  1. You know what? I actually don't see a problem with this merger. I wonder if the merger means I can use and earn VIP points on Bricklink too.
  2. I'm down with the Diesel 10 reference for a crook's locomotive. Loved me some Thomas when I was a child. It would probably be either red or some weird color since that seems to be the trend for City crook getaway vehicles.
  3. @Ardelon @hrdknxbrix Owie! You guys have a train for every subject in City. Space train anyone?
  4. So......I have a few, but don't feel overburdened. Broadcasting - basically a subtheme centered around the local news; included radio stations. Postal Workers - for obvious reasons Sanitation - garbage trucks and street sweepers seem to be a thing that Lego loves to push with the City theme. Garage Revival - from 2009 Paradisa Revival Outback Revival
  5. It's about they had a police train. Now all they need is a fire train.
  6. Wow! That is amazing! Great job on capturing the details!
  7. City has been doing very well in reviving the old subsidiaries from the late 90s and early 2000s recently as subthemes under the City theme. City has done Space, Arctic, Divers and even Trains if you want to count those. This year, they have revived the Race subsidiary under the F1 subtheme. Though it wasn't under the old Town sets like the former subthemes I mentioned, Sports was another theme that was pretty prominent in the early 2000s. So I think it would actually work under the City theme, especially if it were Soccer based like the one from the early 2000s.
  8. Considering that 2024 brought us our first standalone bus for the Great Vehicles lineup, I actually see hope for the bendy bus. According to sources, the two story bus sold amazingly well. Post Office and Shopping mall are possible too. Considering how City loves their animal molds, I can definitely see a dog run happening if not during the winter, definitely the summer.
  9. I'm glad someone agrees with me on the bendy bus and post office. I'd also be down for a dog park.
  10. Only because predictably doesn't really pay them anymore. Personally, I saw that ending in 2021.
  11. I can tell you that the majority of those 2026 sets will be police and fire oriented.
  12. I think the 2024 downtown tram is better. That felt more like a rapid transit train than a tram though.
  13. The new sets are kinda okay. I don't hate them, but they certainly leave a lot to be desired. For one thing, I prefer hooks on tow trucks instead of chains. But its a set for kids, so I'm passed it. Currently, I only collect minifigures - because now it's only the minifigures that really interest me.
  14. Where are these new leaks at? The only reddit leaks I have found were the arctic train and the tower.
  15. Send me the link via private message. Nvm. I saw it. Not bad, but it looked more like an expansion to that poorly designed tower set than a train station.
  16. I don't think that would work. It may have worked during Lego's earlier days, but not today in the age of the media.
  17. Extremely low standards are being set for next years sets.
