  1. Yeah for DC I like some of the stuff that the cinematic side has put out but on the whole I like the comics side of it. Especially when we're getting things like Talons. If you're into Batman comics at all and haven't read Court of Owls, I highly recommend. As for Marvel it's hands down the MCU. I do think that Lego could easily do some sets that blend the two realms. That Spider-Man bridge set, for instance, could've been tweaked to have been a cinematic set. Add movie type minifigures etc.

DC Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

Oh man that Batman looks awesome. Might be my new favorite...
  3. While I had some serious issues with The Last Jedi, that throne room fight scene was definitely not one of them. Super excited that rumor was true.

Those creatures look like they came from Final Fantasy. Cool stuff!

According to Brickset the price will be 19.99 so even better.

Awesome! I was hoping that these new HP sets didn't let us down and so far they've delivered in spades. Love that carriage build.

Yeah, really interested to see what Jor-El looks like without the armor on. Also looking forward to doing like a Monk/Friar with the hairpiece that Alfred has.

I thought the Thor: Ragnarok set with the giant wolf in it had a fair amount of useful parts in it. Those dark green minions have some potential for evil looking monsters and the Wolf itself looks really cool surrounded by knights trying to bring it down.
  9. Is it just me or does it look like there is a clip for a lightsaber on his belt? Probably just for his shockstaff thing but I can hope...
  10. Brickarms do pretty good flintlock pistols and rifles. http://www.brickmania.com/antique/

Thoughts on The Last Jedi Sets

It's expensive, I'll admit, but the Tie Silencer is by far my favorite. Haven't been taken in by a starfighter design this much in a long time.

The new Kylo Ren torso and legs have kind of a cool chainmail look to them. Also the Roman Batman from the upcoming ToysRus brictober pack looks really cool.

    Most likely Kylo Ren.

My guess is they do a much larger minifigure batch. The old Falcon only had a few easy to get figs aside from Princess Leia. If they go with both original trilogy and new saga film figures there is a jump in price right there.

Agreed. If Lego can do dual molded legs on their CMFs I don't see why why Star Wars does not get more if any.
