MOC train inspired by a belgian automotive set.

Good colour scheme and detailing. The cars seem a bit short compared to the original. I would love to see this build with real bricks. -

Cool little train. I love the middle car with the big wheels! -
Very nice and interesting how this scale allows for many details. Absolutely lovely!

First your dream fleet of steam engines and now this extremely nice model I like the nose and wheel sets with couplers - spot on! Are you planning more modern engines?

Love this one, esp. the nose!

Funny how quickly one's priorities can change... Looking forward to more pics and vids. Love this 12v nostalgia! Some inspiration: Do you know Bricklink? It is a kind of Ebay for lego enthusiasts around the world. You can use it for buying missing parts or even sets: 12v sets and supplemental. Maybe even some sellers are located in Canada. But be careful, Bricklink is not entirely cheap though... Have fun!

Adding 'Juice' to long 12V track layouts . . .

Yes, just plug the extra wires into the same transformer. These 12v-transformers are very robust and can handle short-circuiting (are maybe even electronically protected). Extra wires from the same transformer is a much better solution than using multiple transformer on the same piece of track. Another solution is to electronically divide the track by cutting the conductors and add a transformer to each electronically isolated piece. You can then for example run at different current (and directions!) for example for adding power on an incline, see example in this thread- 10 replies

Elsker det! Thanks for sharing and showing building technique.

Piece of art. Is it very heavy? It seems that only two motors were used?

try the online shop www.bricklink.com maybe there is a seller in India

You can take of the electric conductor pieces by bending the small metal pieces on the bottom, and then cut them using a metal saw. But it precise work if you want it to look nice. I tried to do so some time ago, but I did not succeed too well: it works mechanically, but not aesthetically ;-) See here for more info and check other posts in thread too. Please note that on my picture, the conductor metal is cut on both sides (in order to have electronically isolated parts of the tracks which are mechanically connected so they can be hooked up to several transformers).

Beautiful - you make us forget it is lego!

Same issue brought me here originally. Back then I found this post: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=50345entry893107 Basically, break up the housing (not easy) and clean and lubricate inside. Good luck.

Not 1 but 5 cars with lots of details - each of which a master piece! Awesome collection!
-
classic lego design ...sigh :-)
-
nice - model is very convincing! (but pictures not the best due to shiny bricks and much light)
