  1. This is actually much more than the show car. I'm not saying that this is a final car that we will see during Barcelona / Bahrain testing (not Abu Dhabi). However, they have clearly went for pull rod at the front and push-rod in the rear. This is completely opposite to previous years. You can see that in the back, just above the diffuser, the bodywork is really narrow - thanks to the new push-rod arrangement. Also, the front wing differs very much from the show car and is clearly functional from aerodynamic point of view. It is the pity, that the Technic model features the livery from last year though....
  2. Hello everyone! First I have to say, that I'm new here and this is my first MOC ever, so it's not as good as I imagined it to be. It's a bit inspired by Crowkillers model 42083 B Model Bugatti Formula 1 Race Car, but most of it are my own ideas. Let's start with a photo! Functions: - Full independent double wishbone suspension - Steering - Fake V8 Engine & RWD - Openable engine hood All the parts are from Chiron 42083 set, as it is the only set I own. I am pretty proud of how it looks, apart from the front suspension. It doesn't look how I wanted it to be, but it's all because of lack of experience and time. There's no gearbox, because I have absolutely zero experience with that and I didn't want to waste a week on that. But maybe in next version... who knows :) I especially like the front wing, which in my opinion is an improvement over Crowkiller's version. Let me know guys what you think!
  3. I didn't realize before how big this 42039 set is! The comparison with keybord... wow
  4. Thank you all guys for opinions. I think I'll do as you suggest and for now go for the 42039 Racer. Then... we'll see :)
  5. By off-roader you mean 42037? It looks great, but I think I'll go for something bigger. Pneumatics is cool, but as I've said before, I'm more into cars than cranes, so it's not decisive point. I'd love to build Arocs, because it's impressive, but now it occured to me that the 42043's price could just be too high for my first Lego set in years.
  6. Yeah, I've read your review ( You're doing a great job with them) and also liked it. It's also the cheapest one of all three, so that's a big advantage.
  7. Hi guys! I'm back to Technic - as an AFOL now - last time I had bought my own set when I was 12 :D, then I gave all my bricks to my little cousin, with whom I have recently played and I realised that I miss Lego really really bad. I want to buy something, which will provide me with a great number of parts and also allow me to build mostly cars (and aircraft) in the future. I thought of 42054 Xerion, but it seems that there are no usefull chassis bricks in this set. However, I still consider it great and probably will buy it in the future. The other idea was 42043 Arocs which impressed me with all these pneumatics and chassis. The other idea was to buy... a car 42039 (Porsche is great but for me it costs too much for its functions), but it does not provide me with motor or a battery, so I think I'll choose between Arocs and Xerion for now. What do you think?
  8. This is superb! Really nice idea and implementation. I especially like the linear clutch :)
