LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I don't mind the named figures as much, as we have yet to get any figures from LEGO City Undercover other than Chase McCain, but other than that, I don't want any named figures. What they could do is put the named figures from the show in the Juniors sets, and leave the main sets mostly named-character free.
  2. I love Alien Conquest and overall the themes from the late 2000's to the early 2010's, as it seems there were a lot more creative, original themes compared to the licensed themes. That's not to say licensed themes are bad, in fact, some of my favorite themes are licensed themes, but we don't have any themes anymore that last only a few years. Now, I'm sure that it's mainly because of LEGO being a company, and money is one of the more important factors when running a company, and I get that. I just would like a theme that lasts 5 years max (though preferably less), so we can get some fun sets that think outside the box of what we're getting now, and that way LEGO can experiment and see what works. I would like to see a return to more classic LEGO Space, where there are no good guys vs bad guys, and there're just explorers, or something like Alien Conquest.

    CMFs for former themes

So, since the James Bond leciense got a set, I'm counting it as part of this and below is my idea for a James Bond CMF Series: James Bond (Sean Connery) James Bond (George Lazenby) James Bond (Roger Moore) James Bond (Timothy Dalton) James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) James Bond (Daniel Craig) Renard M (Judi Dench) Q (Desmond Llewelyn) Elektra King Moneypenny (Brosnan era) Alec Trevelyan

    DC Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

I completley forgot about this stuff. The theme doesn't seem to get a lot of attention. And as for my own set ideas, those are just my ideas. Unrealistic? Maybe, but if they were to end it in 2022, that is how I would want them to do it.

    [MOC] Tintin Moon Rocket

This is a nice build. It reminds me of Phineas and Ferb's ship they use in the episode "Out to Launch". Nice!

    DC Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

I like the WW 1984 Box, as it looks like a Comic-Con box, but I do think they should make more boxes like this, as long as they keep the more special boxes like this as LEGO store and LEGO.com exclusives. Now, as for LEGO DC Superheroes 2020. I'm nervous, as we haven't heard anything for the summer, and if there were sets coming out, we would have heard rumors by now. I will say that maybe the DC theme is slowly dying. Maybe this is a sign that this theme will be ending soon. I remember seeing LEGO DC sets on the shelf at Walmart, but now, other than the CMF series (which my Walmart doesn't have anymore), and that could be a sign of things to come. Here's what I would do: Make DC sets until 2022. That way, the theme lasts 10 years, so the last year can be remakes of the first year of sets and maybe they include a special figure (like LEGO Star Wars did in 2019 for their 20th). With them only having a few years left if they do this, they could look at their back catalog and/or ask the fans what they would like to see/what figures are missing, like classic Kyle Rayner Green Lantern. How they could do that is release people packs for LEGO DC, like what they do for City, and in 2022, release the sets from 2012 along with the new sets listed below, and if they do this, the theme could go out with a bang. War of the Lanterns: $120: Details: Figures from all the Lantern corps with lots of trans-clear pieces and a nice build. Figures: Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Green Lantern (John Stewart), Green Lantern (Guy Gardner, Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz), Atrocitus, Sinestro, Black Hand, Star Sapphire (Carol Ferris), Indigo-1, Larfleeze, Kilowog, Batman (Green Lantern, Flash (Blue Lantern), Saint Walker, and the Guardians of the Universe Batfamily Unite: $50: Details: The Batfamily fighting a few supervillains. There would be a small bat-vehicle build. Minifigures: Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin (classic, with full cowl that goes over the head), Batgirl, Batwoman, Riddler, Joker, Two-Face, and Clayface (minifigure) Bat-Train: $150: Details: The Bat-Train featured in Batman #95 in October 1955. Minifigures: Batman, Robin, and Alfred Pennyworth Justice League: The Final Battle: $80 Details: A big battle with lots of Justice League members against a few supervillains. There would also be a few small builds. Figures: Superman, Batman Beyond, Wonder Woman, Flash, Batman, Green Arrow, Cyborg, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern (Hal Jordon), Darkseid, Aquaman (New 52), Robin (Tim Drake), Bizarro (the one featured in Justice League vs Bizarro League), Doomsday, Bane, Brainiac, and Clayface (a built version bigger than the LEGO Batman Movie version)
  7. The past few years for Speed Champions has been great, with them FINALLY making a Mini Cooper set (one of my favorite cars), and we finally got Lambhorgini sets, but you know what car brand that's missing from LEGO? Tesla. I mean, Tesla would fit so perfectly! I know that Cybertruck Ideas set got 10,000 supporters, so that should show LEGO that we want LEGO Tesla sets. Below I listed the following for what I want to see in 2020/what I want to see in Speed Champions in general Tesla 2020 Roadster Tesla 2011 Roadster Lambhorgini Veneno 2006 Ford GT Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS I know it's not a lot, but these cars would be great in the Speed Champions theme.

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I don't know if this is where I post stiff like this, but I don't like getting named minifigures in LEGO City (with the exception of Chase McCain from LEGO City Undercover, and it's a shame we haven't gotten Rex Fury, Frank Honey, Mayor Gleeson, and Chief Dunby yet), but with those exceptions, I like keeping my named minifigures separate, and they could put the named minifigures from the LEGO City show in the Juniors sets. I would much prefer to have non-named figures in the main line. Ok, talking about LEGO City 2020. I want more sets like the most recent diving yacht as part of the Divers subtheme. As for my brief thoughts for the rest of the year, let my give you the quick versions of my ideas: A LEGO Truck More $10 vehicle sets More Trains, more specifically, steam trains More civillian based stuff, like houses

    Future Star Wars Sets

The list below is a list of sets I would like to see or sets I think they will make. I didn't put any sequel trilogy sets on here, as I think it's a bit early for them to release new sets for the trilogy that just ended. Episode 1: The Phantom Menace: Flash Speeder: $25: Details: None, other than it would be a slightly smaller version of the one from 2015. Minifigures: 2 Naboo Royal Guards Naboo Starfighter: $40: Details: No droid side builds or anything, just the starfighter and steps so the minifigures can get into the starfighter. Figures: R2-D2, Naboo Pilot, and Anakin Skywalker (Episode 1) Sith Infiltrator: $70: Details: Wings would be more like the one from 7663, making it a bit more accurate to the movie. Figures: Darth Maul (Episode 1), Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Episode 1), Anakin Skywalker (Episode 1), Padme Amidala (Episode 1), Captain Panaka, and 2 Spy Droids Trade Federation MTT: $100: Details: A remake of the one from 2007. Figures: Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Episode 1), 2 Destroyer Droids, and 2 Battle Droids Sebulba's Podracer: $45: Details: It would look quite similar to Sebulba's Podracer from 2011.: Figures: Sebulba and 3 Pit Droids Episode 2: Attack of the Clones: Bounty Hunter Pursuit: $40: Details: A remake of the Bounty Hunter Pursuit set from 2002. Minifigures: Zam Wessel, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Episode 2), and Anakin Skywalker (Episode 2) Jango Fett's Slave 1: $95: Details: A remake of Jango Fett's Slave 1 from 2002. In my opinion, this should have been the Slave 1 we got as part of the 20th Annivershery wave. Minifigures: Jango Fett and Young Boba Fett Duel on Geonosis: $20: While I would want this to be bigger, LEGO would probably go the way of the other $20 Duel sets. Minifigures: Count Dooku and Yoda AT-TE: $85: Details: None. Minifigures: Mace Windu, Clone Trooper Commander (Phase 1), 3 Clone Troopers (Phase 1), Coleman Trebor, and 1 Geonosian Battle Droid Anakin vs. the Tusken Raiders: $30: Details: A few small huts for the Sand People, one is holding Anakin's mother prisoner. Figures: General Grevious (Tan), Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars Season 1), Count Dooku, Padme Amidala (Clone Wars), 2 Magnaguards, and 1 Battle Droid Pilot BARC Speeder with Sidecar: $20 Details: Remake of LEGO Star Wars set number of 75012 of the same name. Figures: 2 Clone Troopers (Phase 1), 1 Battle Droid Pilot, 1 Battle Droid Commander, and 15 Battle Droids Freeco Speeder: $25: Details: None. Minifigures: Anakin Skywalker (snow), Obi-Wan Kenobi (snow), and Captain Rex (snow) Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith: V-Wing Starfighter: $25: Details: None. Figures: 1 Battle Droid Pilot and 1 Buzz Droid Obi-Wan vs General Grevious: $35: Details: The build for General Grievous' Wheel Bike would be similar to the one from 2013/2014, but would have Boga in it, the creature Obi-Wan rides on throughout the scenes on Utapau. Figures: Plo Koon and R7-D4 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor (Green): $25: Details: It appears that we're getting one this year, and since we now have the newly released Duel on Mustafar set, this would go well with it. Figures: Anakin Skywalker (Episode 3; Dark Side), and R2-D2 91st Legion Reconnaissance Troopers: $30: Details: with the 501st Legion Clone Troopers set, I think this opens the door for more of these types of sets, where we get a decent size build(s), along with great figures. The build would be a few BARC Speeders in red and white. Minifigures: Commander Neyo (from the Battle on Saleucami set from 2013/2014), and 4 91st Legion Reconnaissance Troopers Crab Droid: $20: Details: None. Super Mario 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

@just2good I am a bit nervous that we won't get any minifigures, and I'll tell you why. New molds. Basically, a good bit of the theme would have to be dedicated to new molds, and from what I think I heard, there's an app in development for the LEGO Mario sets, so that could be why there aren't any minifigures (yet, and I hope there will be, but I'm starting to doubt it). I mean, for every character (with the exceptions of the Piranha Plant, Goomba, and some of the enemies, which we've already seen in the sets already revealed), the molds would probably not be cheap, and for LEGO Mario to sell well, they would have to make some cheaper sets, which even the ones with fewer pieces are expensive. The sets themselves would be good for a background, but I couldn't see myself playing with it too much like a 2D level if these released when I was a kid. I'm sure if I was little I would enjoy these, but if I was 8 and these things came out, I couldn't see myself being too interested. I'm really starting to doubt that LEGO Mario minifigures will be released, and I think that if they were making minifigures, they would have already been revealed. If they did do Mario minifigures, they would have to do some based on Mario Sunshine, as that's rumored to be coming to Switch.

    [MOC] H3-4VY GUNSHIP

I LIKE this thing! I'm a fan of MOCs in general, but ones like this is another level. I built a MOC myself which I might post in a few days, but it's nothing like this! I want something like this from LEGO. The build is a nice build with nice shapes. Good job!

    Ideas for CMFs

Ok, so here's how I would do a LEGO Marvel CMF series. While I love regular, non-licensed CMF series, I think it's good that we get a licensed CMF series, and this way, we can get figures that we wouldn't ever get in normal sets. Future Castle Sets?

So, regarding the return of LEGO Castle, I really want this to happen. I remember LEGO Kingdoms, and THAT was a GREAT theme. With the two recent Castle-like sets reaching 10,000 supporters (one will be made into a real set), I think this shows LEGO that people want classic castle. I really would like to see a return in 2021 of Castle. They would need to go all out promoting this, but I think if they did it right, they could make good money off a return to classic Castle. Now, how would they do it exactly? Well, like it or not, they would probably put stud shooters in there. I don't really like the idea of knights using stud shooting crossbows, but they probably would if we like it or not. I feel as long as they didn't got too far with the stud shooters by placing them in every single set in every single build, it wouldn't look all that bad. I think that they would have to do 4 waves, with the summer and fall/holiday waves being the biggest, and thy could have one direct to consumer set a year (maybe two if they wanted), and they would have to have to have pleanty of sets in every price range ($4-$10, $15-$30, $35-$50, $60-$80, and $100+), and below I have listed, my ideas for how I would do it. First Wave: Releasing January Lion Knights Mobile Catapult (Polybag): $4: Details: Would just be a catapult with wheels. Minifigure: 1: Lion Knight with wide brim helmet and sword Dragon Knights Mini Battering Ram (Polybag): $4: Details: A small battering ram with some spikes (using the spike tips that are molded onto 1x1 tiles). Minifigure: 1: Dragon Knight with standard full-head helmet and sword Armor Cart Ambush: $10: Details: A Lion Knight armor cart with a helmet, torso armor, a halberd, a sword, and a shield. Minifigures: 3: 2 Lion Knights and 1 Dragon Knight Lion Knight Minifigure Pack: $15 Details: Various Accessories and a small build or two for the Lion Knights. Minifigures: 1 Lion Knight Archer and 3 Lion Knights Dragon Knight Minifigure Pack: $15 Details: Various Accessories and a small build or two for the Dragon Knights. Minifigures: 1 Dragon Knight Archer and 3 Dragon Knights Outpost Attack: $25: Details: Remake of LEGO Kingdoms set 7948 Outpost Attack. Minifigures: 4: Lion Knight Archer with crossbow, Lion Knight with spear, Dragon Knight with spear, and Dragon Knight with sword Dragon Knight Battle Fortress: $50: Details: A decent sized fortress with room for 15 minifigures. Minifigures: 7: 2 Dragon Knight Archers with crossbows, 4 Dragon Knights, and one heavy armored Lion Knight Lion Knights Castle: $110: Details: A pretty big castle with pleanty of room for the Lion Knights and their horses. Has a drawbridge and archery stations, and a catapult for the Dragon Knight. Minifigures: 11: 3 Lion Knight Archers, Lion Knight King, Lion Knight Queen, 5 Lion Knights, and 1 Dragon Knight. 1 horse would also be included for the Dragon Knight to help pull the catapult as well as 4 horses for the Lion Knights. Second Wave: Releasing May Lion Knight Catapault Cart: $4: Details: Polybag. Minifigures: 1 Lion Knight Dragon Knight Target Practice: $4: Details: Polybag. The build is a small build made for archery practice (basically a Dragon Knights version of Kingdoms set 30062). Minifigure: 1 Dragon Knight Knight's Showdown: $10: Details: A remake of Kingdoms set 7950. Minifigures: 1 Dragon Knight and 1 Lion Knight Lion Knight Royal Carriage: $25: Details: A carriage for the Lion Knight king and queen. Has a decent sized carriage build with two horses with head armor and a plastic piece that serves as cloth on each horse's body that almost completley covers the main body. Has a few small tree builds. Minifigures: 1 Dragon Knight with sword, 1 Dragon Knight with spear, 1 Lion Knight with sword and whip, Lion Knight queen, and Lion Knight king, both king and queen are different from the Lion Knight Castle set Dragon Knight Prison Breakout: $35: Details: A nice prison build for the Dragon Knights. Minifigures: 1 Lion Knight with sword, 1 Lion Knight Archer, and 3 Dragon Knights with various accessories Lion Knight Army Builder: $40: Details: Lots of small builds and the set is reminiscent of the people packs from LEGO City: Figures: 25 Lion Knights Dragon Knight Army Builder: $40: Details: Lots of small builds and the set is reminiscent of the people packs from LEGO City: Figures: 25 Dragon Knights Dragon Knight Castle: $120: Details: A large castle for the Dragon Knights, with lots of room for the Dragon Knights and the castle is very different from the Lion Knight one, with the box having a stormy background compared to the blue sky and clouds on the box for the Lion Knight Castle, and the overall castle would be much more agressive than the Lion Knights one, with still having horses and other things that the Lion Knights Castle. Minifigures: Dragon Knight King, Dragon Knight Queen, 4 Dragon Knight Archers, 3 Dragon Knights with swords, and 3 Dragon Knights with spears Now, I know this would be a lot of sets to release in a year, but maybe in the first year they could release some of these and they could release others in the second year.
  16. Here's my wish list for Speed Champions 2020: Lamborghini Veneno Tesla 2020 Roadster Mini Cooper (single car) Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (with the doors being able to move up) Aston-Martin 2019 DB11 McLaren Speedtail
  17. So LEGO Simpsons. An oddball theme that came out of left field. This theme had 2 sets, 3 Dimentions sets, and 2 CFM series. Man, what is it with this theme and the number 2? So, there is a rumor out there, I found out about it through BrickVault, that Simpsons may be returning this year. I don't think it's all that possible, but I do hope it comes true. So below are sets that LEGO should make in The Simpsons. 5: Mr. Plow truck. Coming from one of my favorite episodes of all time, a Mr. Plow set would be great. The set would have the truck itself, an exclusive Home in his Mr. Plow attire, an Exclusive Grandpa Simpson, and an exclusive Bart, to help recreate that commerical. The Set would be $20 USD. (United States Dollars) 4: Springfield Police Station. Retailing for $100 USD, this set would be a detailed Springfield Police Station and come with Lou, Eddie, Cheif Wiggum, Snake, and Lionel Hutz. This is a pretty self explainatory set, but this would be pretty cool. 3: Springfield Elementery. This would be the next Simspsons House. Retailing for $200, this would be a 2 floor and basement set, and this would have 2,500 pieces. It would look like how it looks like in the show, and would have 10 rooms. The figures would be Bart, Lisa, Milhouse, Skinner, Superintendent Chalmers, Ralph, Ms. Krapapple, Nelson, Martian, and 5 student characters. 2: The Blocko Store. Man, would this be a set! Retailing for $50, this would be the Blocko store from episode 497 "The D'oh-cial Network". This set would have Lisa, Homer, Bart, Marge, a store clerk, and Maggie. 1: Blockoland. From episode 263 "Hungry Hungry Homer", this set would be $200, and have 3 Blockland clerks, a ticket taker, the Simpsons family, the Flanders family, and 3 ride operators. The parts of the set will be just like in the episode.

    Future Star Wars Sets

Wish list of sets I would like to see in 2019 only including the Microfighters and regular System Sets from Episodes 1-3, some including the ones in the wish list above that Brickwiser posted, and since it is the 20th anniversry of LEGO Star Wars, LEGO could be going all out, and they may if the rumors are true, so some of these choices may seem extravagant and there's a lot of sets, but it could in theory happen, and all prices are in USD, and I know most of these sets won't be made, but I'm just giving options of sets I would like to see. Microfighters: The Phantom ll with Sabine from S4 like Brickwiser suggested TIE Bomber with TIE Bomber pilot Anikan's Green Eta Class Starfighter with Anikan that is similar to the one we got in 9494 "Anikan's Jedi Interceptor" Republic Cruiser with Clone Officer with headset printed on similar to the 75214 "Anikan's Jedi Starfighter" and a flat top hair piece like we got in World City set 7032 Police 4WD and Undercover Van Sith Infiltrator with Darth Maul with hood and cloak. Simpsons sets that NEED to be made

I know that "Blockoland" isn't THAT iconic, but I kinda think it would be easier for LEGO to do as it's essentially LEGOLAND, so it might be kinda easier to do than the Springfield Police station and other Simpsons landmarks. Who knows? Maybe they will eventually release a LEGOLAND set.
