  1. BIG is ... big! I think if it had been smaller, its capacity would have been lower. I think I understand what you mean. I have tried many solutions but this one seemed the most effective to me. I have another idea which I will speak later for future release.
  2. Thank you everyone for your enthusiasm. Here are some details. Below you will find images of a wheel. The perimeter of the wheel is constituted by axles 16 coated with a silicone tubing between two ½ Bush. Silicone provides excellent grip to the ground, but prohibits lateral rotation. It is for this reason that I have inserted the Bush ½ yellow wich has a slightly larger diameter, which allows the lateral rotation. Sorry, PROlego, I do not understand your idea. Can you clarify?
  3. @OneMoreRobot. You are a beginner, as I can see. @Rockbrick. Thank you, I did not knew that.
  4. I'm really happy that this turntable is operational in your exhibition. Do you have some pictures to show us ?
  5. Put your monitor perpendicular of your eyes direction.
  6. That's what I thought. It's really very effective. Thanks for your answer.
  7. I have done this. To make the pliers, I used a small grinding wheel mounted on a drill. Be careful not to over tighten.
  8. Wonderful as usual ! I could spend hours on your site. I saw the pictures. Could I have more details on the torsion bars? Thank you.
  9. I love that ! This is a very good work.
  10. It's very interesting. Keeping a large size, I think a new faster and lighter version is required. I have no advice to give you, but YouTube is a good source of inspiration.
  11. I am very impressed ! Can you give us the size of the wheels and of the crawler ? Can it climb stairs from face and how high the step ?
  12. May be this can help you : http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=110051&hl=turntable
  13. I think some will know this posibility, but I found nothing on the subject in YouTube. The idea is to generate power with a motor used as an electrical generator. It can also be used as actuator for remote control.
  14. Ok, if yellow is not good I will try blue. But what about the 13 or 15 beams long ?
  15. I know how to embed an image but it does not work. When I paste the url, the buttons in the little window are not enabled and I can't even close that window. I have a PC with Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer. Thank you for helping.
  16. But these are new ones, are'nt they ? I have not seen them before. Could you add 2 of 13 and 2 of 15 ? As the series would be complete. And would it be possible to have them in yellow? I like yellow. My English is not very good. When I say soft, that's the adjective I would use for a tire for example.
  17. I may agreed with that ! As you can see at about 0'50 of the video, when the crank turn 180°, the motor turn 90°. Yes, I know there are gears in the generator, but as you can see in my video, the torque of my crank is not very high. It is up to each one to evaluate the best torque. And about the gears of the running motor, well ... it is the same as with a battery.
  18. Hi Eff. I would like to make a big beam of 31 with alternate holes, but I lack time and I am sure to do less well than you. The last beam that you show is much interesting and if you proposed it on Shapeways, I will order for testing. But provided it is a length of 15. I think it is difficult to test the resistance of a beam if it is too small. I think this type of beam with holes on each side, not alternated, is very interesting. When you say that it is fragile, do you mean it is soft. For me, if a beam is soft it is not a defect but an advantage to take into account.
  19. I am neither a great nor a small physicist, but I would be very surprised if this could cause any problem.

I gave the answer to this problem a few lines above.
  21. This is great with some good ideas ! I will follow your créations.
  22. This is a very good stairs climber, I know how it is difficult. Congratulations.
  23. Look at the title if the page: "Vision Subsystem v4 for NXT or EV3 (NXTCam-v4)"
