-Carson Haupt- Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) As the fellowship from Burnby was heading south to Kaliphlin, the encountered a band of goblins. The goblins had learned to domesticate the ogres that lived in the caves they inhabited, and use them for war. At first the goblins attacked, but after the group told them of their quest, they talked it over and decided that there would probably be loot. Always hungry for gold, the agreed to send one of their ogres, a handler, and an archer along. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is my field piece entry for the War of the Brothers. Here's some basic instructions: Edited April 25, 2014 by -Carson Haupt-
Scaevola Posted April 25, 2014 Nice job, I like the idea of building something around the cave troll. I'm afraid I'll have to withhold the UoP credits however. A couple upright minifigs doesn't quite demonstrate a mastery of minifig posing. However, good job nonetheless on the build
Lord Vladivus Posted April 25, 2014 Nice simple build that looks great!
Kai NRG Posted April 25, 2014 I'll have to agree with Scaevola about minifigure posing - especially since it's a pretty easy credit to get for a larger build. Very nice job building the carrying basket, it really turned out nicely!

legoman19892 Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) So... Is that huge spear to kill the troll if it goes crazy and starts trampling their own soldiers? Edited April 25, 2014 by legoman19892

They use a similar thing with elephants I believe. Clever idea, it worked out well! Thanks! Rogue Angel Posted May 1, 2014 I really like this design - it is a great idea, and you've have a very basic, easily reproduceable design that looks great! We need more of these non-horse mount designs.
