I apologize in advance if this has been asked, but is there any reason why Lego stopped putting backpacks on standard Battle-Droids?

Marvelfan120 - I don't know when sets are officially discontinued, but I do know that set was on clearance around me last fall, so I always prefer to play things on the safe side.

Does anyone want to hazarded a guess on how long it will take for cloud city to be made again ?

If the 3D-movie-relaunch-bonanza would have continued I would have guessed for a renewed variant somewhere 2016, but right now it's a gamble when it might come... In a combo with a Slave I perhaps? surely that'll be remade in 3 years or so...

StandardSc2, as I happen to own both, I would say the Millenium Falcon, but it depends on what you are looking for. If it is the minifigures you are more interested in, than Jabba's palace is better for you, but the Millenium Falcon is a better model. It's up to you in the end.

Not sure weather i should buy jabba's palace for $100 or the millenium falcon for $140 :P any help guys?

(sorry if i am in wrong topic)

I had exactly the same problem about a week or so ago, but I finally decided what to get but only because of the help of someone one on this forum. In the end I chose the millennium falcon as it is a more iconic ship, it is more of a build, it will be discontinued sooner as it was a 2011 release and the playability is just as good as the palace.

I've also got both and the Falcon is far better value if you can get it for the same price. The design is also very good & it's far less delicate than the old 4504. I appreciate that the new minifigures are expensive to make, but the RRP for the Palace is ridiculous; 1233 parts for the Falcon, 675 for the Palace.... :look:

I have 2 questions about May the 4th special figure:

1) Can you get the figure by ordering from Shop @ Home?

And

2) How much would I need to spend to receive the figure (as some promo figs you need to spend certain amounts of money to get)

1. Yes. 2. I don't remember, but it is different depending on your country. I do remember having to pay $100 for each transaction last time, either to get free shipping or to include the free polybags too, I'm not certain.

1. Yes. You can only get it by ordering from shop at home, or get it in a Lego brand store. (not counting BL and ebay)

2. It's something around €50, $55, £55. sometimes you can combine it with free shipping and a poster. If you're lucky in the brand store, a employee could give you some extra ones, if you ask it, but I think it is less likely this year.

Would anybody happen to know the reason LEGO hasn't started printing plain white Clone legs, like on the Pilot in the Z-95 and the Clone Battle Pack. It seems like it would be cheaper to print plain ones than for the different colored troopers.

If I was looking to sell some of my SW sets would it be better to sell them on here, ebay, or a different site?

Best is eBay

It's too expensive for not being worth for lego the trouble. The specialised ones are printed, because it else would look strange. Try your 501st with white legs or blue legs - it both looks a bit wrong.

Thanks, lots of building to do tonight to get the sets together.

Best is not to sell them - It ís Lego! :)

^ I know but these are sets I do not display and do not want to display anymore either for lack of space or a dislike of the model that grew over the years. I am keeping the bulk of my collection but there are a few sets that need to go.

PenguinPool, Lego still does print plain white legs. Take this year's 75000 BP. The clones' legs are plain white.

Well I mean they didn't start printing even the specialized clone legs up until the BP that had the bomb squad troopers. I definitely think the printed legs looks better, I just think that it would be nice if regular troopers had the printing too.

Errrr,, I don't see any leg printing on this guy
