HeLena Posted June 21, 2011 Vignette "Artist's Room" Here's an attic of an ordinary house: Let's at it! :) The artist Jean-Paul Leroy's creating a new 'masterpiece': Let's see how the attic looks without the minifig. The room is rather small because the artist is a freelancer. We can see an easel, a cheap bed, a hat, sheets of paper and two awards: And of course the attic at night! Thanks for paying your attention to my MOC! Comments are welcomed! More photos on my flickr.

SilvaShado Posted June 22, 2011 Very nice! And inspiring! I want to get into making vignettes. So far, I've only made one and it was for a retirement gift for a supervisor.
HeLena Posted June 22, 2011 Thanks for good comments! SilvaShado, I personally like making only vigs, I don't know why. Maybe because I don't have many parts...
SilvaShado Posted June 22, 2011 Thanks for good comments! SilvaShado, I personally like making only vigs, I don't know why. Maybe because I don't have many parts... How do you get inspired? I mean, where do you look for ideas? I've only made one because I had solid inspiration (my supervisor) to make one. I also don't have a lot of parts so vigs interests me on that point. Also because I like telling stories and vigs do that in such a small space.
Gregorovich Posted June 22, 2011 Nice vignette! I like the easel, and your decals are actually works of art themselves ! And of course, the light is a great touch. Well done, and thanks for sharing! SilvaShado, I personally like making only vigs, I don't know why. Maybe because I don't have many parts... Funnily enough, you are the reason I started making vignettes! Your excellent vignettes are quite inspiring. You made me realise that people can make great things without needing to have lots of parts.

You know, ideas often burst on me suddenly, for example when I'm walking along the street, or reading a book. Funnily enough, you are the reason I started making vignettes! I'm very happy that I can inspire someone Leg Godt Gud, thanks
