lightningtiger Posted December 11, 2010 AWESOME creation 'Scrat' , such a lovely building.....but for what I remember the story from school over 30 years ago....a sad ending for the little match girl. In any case excellent designing there and keep on playing in the snow !
The Yellow Brick Posted December 11, 2010 This is such a beautiful building, I love the melting snow on the roof and the way that person is sitting down.
Brickdoctor Posted December 11, 2010 Love it. You've captured this classic story perfectly. The stone work also looks really good.
Masked Builder Posted December 11, 2010 (edited) Very well executed! The snow on the roof and on the ground is great! That house! Don't even get me started. It's amazing! Edited December 11, 2010 by Masked Builder
XimenaPaulina Posted December 12, 2010 This build really captures the overall sad mood of this classic scene, and for that you really did an exemplary job Scrat! I've not even mentioned the effective SNOT build of the house walls and door. Simply brilliant work overall!
I Scream Clone Posted December 12, 2010 It all works so nicely. I love the snow in its many haphazard placements and the Tudor building is beautifully constructed. The mood of the whole scene is really dreary, which I assume you intended. Congratulations on Brother's Brick as well, most deserved.
Ingrimm Posted December 12, 2010 I really love the detailed look of the building, especially the icicled roof and the awesome walls on the ground floor. You picked a very sad but lovely fairy tale indeed.
indyman09 Posted December 13, 2010 Great house. The roof is great and that little girl sitting and crying, simply awesome
Nikola Bathory Posted December 13, 2010 Scrat, that's indeed vety beautiful and has some mood to it. As for Andersen's story, it's one of my favourites!
dragunov Posted December 14, 2010 Such a sad scene, portrayed so well, best of luck Scrat, I'm rooting for this!
buddy Posted December 15, 2010 Amazing MOC! You have recreated this sad scene very accurately with lots of detail. I particularly like the usage of the S2 Mime face, it works perfectly. Extremely well done. ~buddy~
