I am trying, so please be gentle :sweet:

My two year old son, likes trucks and tractors very much. So I figured I might give it a try and build a little and simple one.

So here goes, my first MOC.

It 's just small, simple nothing special really:

tractor_v1-2.jpg

tractor_v1-3.jpg

But once finished. I was not satisfied and started to think how to improve it.

As it always goes I imagine, or doesn 't it?

Well, today I build this one. A little more advanced.

But still far from rocket science, mind you.

It has front 'suspension' (not really, but you catch my drift) and an utensil axle working 'pto' at the back.

I am planning to build more advanced and better things, but one got to start somewhere

Thank you all :cry_happy:

I was reluctant at first to post em, considering the stuff exhibited here.

Well now I must continue, and I will  , my next one will contain more real technic design I promise

Very cool! I really liked how you used the liftarms as part of the frame. Their shape is perfect for those wheels..

Thanks all for the gentle remarks.

A vid is not possible alas, as the thing is taken apart already :sceptic: I 'm sorry..

If my next one succeeds and is functional the way I like, I promise I will try and make something viewable

And my Baja Bug is finished.

This next MOC is a bit more advanced. I am not totally satisfied, but it was a fun and informative experience :classic:

It drives not that well, due to the ´new´ differential I guess. One car hear the gears creak

Features

Fully independent suspension

Working Flat 4 engine

3/speed gearbox (not driven unfortunately :omg: )

PF remote controlled

PF lights, with switch

detailing..

Question from newbie: I know what an MOC is, but what does the abbreviation actually mean? Probably not Militare Ordine del Collare, right?

Video is fine  not sure about the gears though  , you are geting heavy backlash if you can tell use what your setup is, one of us here on the forum might be able to help you change the drive. :classic:

Thanks!

The diff is a new style one driven by a Gear 20 Tooth Double Bevel. On the other side (trough an standard Technic beam is also a 20 tooth Gear which itself drives an 12 tooth gear which connects some Technic, Gear 16 Tooth with Clutch.

The gearbox itself is pretty standard. 20 to 12 gears and 16 tooth to 12 and 16 to 16 gears.

The slack is on the 20 tooth beveled gear on the diff as far as I can tell..

Here 's a pic from beneath, although one cannot see it very clearly :look:

So finally, after quite some failed attempts, here is my latest MOC

It 's the MonsterMOG! Or a Monster truck-ish Unimog, build for the 2011 September Technic Challenge.

Features PF drive (XL Motor), return-to-center steering (medium motor), fully independent suspension, scissor doors (though the door handle stays put), adjustable seats and PF lights.

I think it looks pretty good and I am quite satisfied with it.

Building studless finally worked quite well

There's nothing wrong with building (and posting) "simple" models!

Looks very sweet pirate_thumbup.gif
