vladoniki Posted November 13, 2010 Dear frends, I have started to build the TV tower in Sofia. The real building has 14 floors and 2 platforms, it is 106 meters hight. The Lego rebuild has 14 floors too, but stil the 2 platforms are not built. Now it is over 1,6 meters hight. Here is a photo of the real tower: ...and the Lego TV tower: Comments and criticism are always welcome!
Fuzzylegobricks Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) Comments and criticism are always welcome! Very awesome but the top part with the big antenna should be a little bit thicker like with the 2 by 1 pieces on bricklink very cool other wise! keep it up. XimenaPaulina Posted November 14, 2010 This is just an amazing creation, considering the size, and all the resources and effort you've put to build this. It's very accurate to the real building based on the ref. pic. Impressive work vladoniki!

vladoniki Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) Thanks! It is very stable, because of the strong construction. Inside photo: Edited November 20, 2011 by vladoniki
chuckie8646 Posted November 20, 2011 Woah that is totally awesome. Very nice work. I mean the shear height of the structure is remarkable and then on top of all that you have all the wonderful details. I love all the satellites on top. I have three questions for you: 1) would be able to venture a guess on how many bricks you used 2) how many satellites are on top and is that the same number as what is on the real structure? 3) is it to any particular scale? Again great work! I love it Charlie
vladoniki Posted November 21, 2011 Thanks! 1. I have used more than 6000 bricks. 2. Satellites are random number. 3. Scale - about 1:53 :)
Darth Dino Posted November 21, 2011 Hi nice work. I am really happy to see more architecture builds. So i think this would fit better to the special themes (Architecture) than to town. Regarding its huge scale and high details it would fit better there than here. Dino
