Winter Village House

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone!

You all know about the christmas sets TLG have been releasing over the years?

First, in 2006 we had that spectacular Holiday Train!

Then, three years later, the Winter Toy shop came out, which was simply awsome!

Then, on the 1/10/10 we will have the Winter Village Bakery!

But wait a minute, isn't there a gap?

Shouldn't there be a classic family christmas house scene?

Well, I decided to do a favor to you all, and make one.

Well folks, I proudly present my Winter Village House:

So, what do you think?

I may buy this but guess what it costs?

£53.24! *huh*

In that case I probably won't, scince I want The Winter Village Bakery

Post your opinions below.

Thanks for reading!

Nice job! It fits in nicely with the rest of the theme. I like the striped walls, and the interior is nice. I would suggest adding more to the roof under the arches, so its not all just white.

I like this.

If I had a suggestion perhaps, I would make the top room wider for a bedroom, the roof to the side can be smaller. There's nothing to do in that top room now. The outside front could possibly use a bit more detail as well.

I'd also suggest changing the big roof. Use another colour than white for the front part and back part of it. I mean the area between the roof slopes in the front and back. You could turn the roof into a loft.

Very nice looking and very classic town inspired house, my only suggestion is the fasia under the white pitched roof above the living room needs to be inset by 1 stud and have the striped treatment too !

Great LDD job there 'legowill1' and I'm a conformist! ! :sweet:

If you want to order it use PAB! LDD adds $10 to start plus most pieces are more expensive in LDD. With PAB you can probably get the cost down to about $30. Its a little time consuming but the cost savings is worth it. Use LDD manager it saves alot of the work. I found out about the huge price markup back when LDD had that price glitch when the updated the Pallette. I made a big stink but dont think many people paid much attention. anyway I will never order directly through LDD but I use it to design all my models and order them through PAB.
