woody64 Posted March 17, 2010 (edited) British Grenadier hat The baker was unfortunately too small and has to be enlarged to the correct size. Woody64 Edited March 17, 2010 by SlyOwl

woody64 Posted May 19, 2010 (edited) More nice designs there woody. I cant remember if you had made an austrian infantry helmet from the Napoleonic wars? You mean this one: http://www.shapeways.com/model/23423/austr...try_helmet.html There was a report that the walls are too thin and I haven't checked that so far. But it can't be a big problem. These look very promising indeed! pirate_classic.gifI'm curious how they'll look painted on minifigs. Still the prices are a bit high... pirate_cry4.gif also in this pack? http://www.shapeways.com/modules/udesign/u...81_small_v2.jpg Woody64 Edited May 19, 2010 by woody64
Big Cam Posted May 19, 2010 Baker redesign: Woody64 They look great, I'm curious how they set in the minifig's hand since the angle of the handle is slightly different than the LEGO version? For a backdated comment, your helmets adn headgear look awesome. I love all the various styles. Keep up the good work.

woody64 Posted May 23, 2010 (edited) Hey Woody i looked at those Austrian infantry helmets. Thats the one im after but it had a "not for sale" notice on it. I think i will get some Bavarian headwear though as im going to start maing some of thier infantry too now. I will take a look on the Austrian helmets when I'm back ... If you take a look on my flickr pages below, you find some scenes where I used the helmets. Some of the bavarian decals are on my brickshelf account. I think most of the Bavarians had this type or a similar type of this helmet. ... looking forward for your results! woody64 Edited May 23, 2010 by woody64
BrickPerfection Posted May 23, 2010 also in this pack? http://www.shapeways.com/modules/udesign/u...81_small_v2.jpg For an army of 60 marines: definately! For smaller MOCs like vignettes, it's pretty fair and comparable to Brickarms (only that they have no proper musket yet I think). So far, I have avoided customization, however some of your designs are so great, I might reconsider that... They might be a little costly for large scale MOCs, but they're certainly a major advantage in contests where customisation is allowed (like michaelozzie has shown us)!
