Thok Posted August 20, 2008 I am in love with the Pirates - thank the Lords of Kobol my birthday's at the beginning of the year and Castle looks like it's going to be a summer release next year. I'm going to get Kraken Attacken, [nice octopus btw], Loot Island, Cannon Attack, and if I can, Soldiers Fort. Sadly I already know the big ship is way out of my price range In deed, I agree. Fatespuppet Posted August 20, 2008 I must say I'm extremely happy to see the Pirate's line returning. It is the most nostalgic theme for me personaly, and I can't wait to add to my ship collection. There will be no sets not gotten by me on this one(unless they make con exclusives or some other random designed rarity) unlike the first Pirates run. I must say that I'm truly shocked about the return of the shooting cannon!! I can only hope that this is merely the beginning of a couple year run of new pirate themed sets. The farm and construction equipment all look quite nice, but they simply aren't up my alley. I am eagerly anticipating the new Star Wars and Castle sets and wish there was more on the list then simply Castle Themed Set. It's gonna be a long wait till 2009. iamded Posted August 20, 2008 (edited) I caught a link to this in the Pirates forum, I think. Anyway, I made sure to save all the pictures in case they get taken down. I actually like the new CRAPP in the Pirates line, not that crappy after all. That farm stuff is great too, I love the tractor and the little ride-on mower. Cows are also good to have, though Armothe's ones are also neat. The one thing I don't like, however, is the new flame piece. It's looking a bit too much like Megab*#%... As well as that dynamite piece. What was wrong with the printed dynamite tile? Also, I'm really, really hoping the red brickwork on the white walls in this set are printed, like on the old bricks, and not stickers.
