910002 Studgate trainstation adjusted to 12v track

Recommended Posts

When I saw first the picture of this station, I wanted it for mine 12v lay-out. I got one, YES , for normal bricklink price. Sold out after a few hours. After waiting for half year, the package came and I started to build. Only the platfrom was just 2 brick high. I want 3 brick high, which looks better to the 12v trains I have. Ordered bricks and this is result:

Station done. Now the train, which doesn't fit into the grey 12v area. Modified the station, so why not the train itself too and make a nice set of it.
I decided to use replace the 24 baseplate for an 28 one. Use 12v wheels with red pin inside. Add traindoors & -windows. Add a toilet, just behind the driver, so he can go fast when needed :shrug_oh_well:. Result of strikes lately :hmpf_bad: . And costum made stickers DB (Deutsche Bundesbahn) with setnumber. Left is as from the set and right is modified one.

I like your modifications to both the station and the train. They work well with 12v, even if they are a little more opulent than most of your display.

Really nice! Looks good in 12V setting! I still haven't got time to build mine though.

Looks like you had a far better experience than I did.  Good show!  Those mods look very nice.

I hadn't even considered using this station on a 12 volt layout.
Instead, I have to admit that the result is even better ... the 7740 is beautiful under that glass arch! :excited:

Alsways missing parts, like 1x3 black plates :sceptic: . Well, I hop I won't forget at next bricklink order.

And just a reminder it's bought from bricklink site  :
