Wow! Very cool! Those are third party cilinders aren't they?

These cylinders are made specifically for this excavator, because lego does not have parts of this length, the cylinder body is aluminum and the working part is steel.

This looks awesome. I hope you built in a big and beefy compressor. What cylinders are you using for the digging arm?

IMHO This is a perfect model team build: Fantastic scale appearance with great functionality. I’m really glad the scale modelling forum and this one have merged as it really opens up info and inspiration to both sides in terms of building techniques.
