ParmBrick Posted April 30, 2021 Very nice! I love the truck model, really well done, the cover technique for the truck itself is brilliant, and I also love the fact that it's escorted by motorcycles, unusual but they make their figure. The soldiers are truly gorgeous with their equipment!
Dutch Thriceman Posted April 30, 2021 That is a fantastic presentation, those Star Wars(?) helmets work really well as bike helmets, and I assume those are some custom printed decals on the truck?
French Man Posted April 30, 2021 Nice diorama mate! Love your figs!
BoBKiD Posted May 3, 2021 (edited) Thank you everyone for your comments! It took me many hours of trial-and-error and a pic of an original M35 truck to come to the version you see in the photos. At first it was meant to be smaller with just the driver and enough space for two figs at the back but in the end a friend convinced me to change it into a fully playable model. The truck's cover is actually yellow paper from a classic post envelope. Its texture is perfect for the truck usage. I used the bikes as an escort instead of other vehicles because it's also a recon mission and they offer full maneuverability. The SW helmets were a nice touch indeed! I know what that's like haha, but it really paid off here as it turned out great
