[GoC] Purser's Network 1: The cartographer of King's Harbour

Recommended Posts

After spending years at sea, Specialist 2nd Rank Charley Coleman was recommend a cartographer position in the newly opened office in King’s Harbour.

As a major naval hub in the Corrington empire, there was never a lack of captains reporting in with new or adjusted naval maps describing the colonies and surrounding seas.

Updating the official maps and making sure they were spread among the other captains was vital for the succes of the empire.

It’s been ages since I last build something Corrie related. So when I saw my little box of red coats the other day I felt it was time to get back into the game.

Build can be licensed by the faction as an Artisan in King’s Harbour.

Very nice one.

Those walls are simple, but lovely.

I'm struggling with some part of walls to finish a build, it seems that I will borrow thoses simple lovely walls shamelessly

Great well polished interior!  I quite like the dash of color the plant gives.

Looking great @Puvel and welcome back! I love the use of the dark green, it's such a nice colour.  The woodworking, and the walls being set in a half stud really takes the build to the next level. I also like the game pieces for the columns in the fireplace. Great job!

Clean build! The offset walls add a simple, yet nice extra touch to the scene. Same with the dog and the plant: they both make the build come a bit more alive.

Lovely Puvel! Like I said in the PM, your interior scenes are always a pleasure to behold and this is no exception. The dark green and browns work lovely together and the whole build is so smooth. The fire place is really great as well and I particularly like the use of the microfigs. Definitely a  from me for GoC

Great looking fireplace and use of colour and offset for the walls. Your furniture is excellent too, and I like the various implements you have scattered around the build to make it come alive. On top of that, story and subject matter is spot on for the GoC, without being the obvious choice.

I will license it for the settlement in King's Harbour shortly.

The icing on the cake is the posing of the minifig,  making the scene come alive by having him pet the dog.

A definite  for the GoC.

The use of colours is worth a compliment!

Thanks, they're just the classics though :P

Thanks!  knew it needed something so I tried some more 'adventurous' plants but they didn't look right so I'm happy I used this one

Thanks! Nothing new here, but the classics are classic for a reason! Was fun to build so hope to be back in the game
