lostdriveway Posted May 27, 2019 Hi folks, I would like to share with you my newest Roller Coaster "DIGGER". It was displayed this weekend at the BrisBricks Morayfield Brick Expo and will be displayed later again this year at Chandler. The coaster uses the CDX Blocks track and everything else is LEGO. You can see more on my Instagram page @brickcoaster and @stewbricks Video at the end. Bludchylde Posted May 27, 2019 I love this. And my four year old will definitely be excited when I show him this tomorrow. I especially love the guy in the porta potty while it is being held up in the air by a crane.
jpx Posted May 27, 2019 So many great details - the mouse and the elephant girl, usage of brick separators and the 'hole-in-wall' cafe!
Fuppylodders Posted May 27, 2019 (edited) That is awesome! Does that use the actual lego coaster and its only the cdx track? I'll have to look into it, this is how tlg's roller-coaster should have been made! *edit* I've just gone and bought 2 of the expansion sets to have a go myself :) I see they have their own cart with what looks like sideways mounted wheels. I'm assuming TLGs version isn't compatible with the cdx block track? Edited May 27, 2019 by Fuppylodders
lostdriveway Posted May 27, 2019 The coaster uses the CDX Blocks Train base as well. It uses metal wheels and grips on like a proper coaster hence it running smooth and inversions. Thanks for the comments
AllanSmith Posted May 28, 2019 I'm really impressed. Great imaginative use of the construction theme.
