gotoAndLego Posted January 28, 2018 (edited) I know using them for a roof is not a new idea, but our town needed a bus stop and I have a bunch of these. Photos are from a layout we are doing this weekend at the Trains Trains Trains show. Edited January 28, 2018 by gotoAndLego
kreimkoek Posted January 28, 2018 Most things have been done before by someone one way or another. It is how you bring it together as a whole that makes it different. In this case, it works really well as a busstop for your city. ☺
Darnok Posted January 28, 2018 Clever idea, and it works surpisingly well! A good looking busstop indeed.
Legochaek Posted January 28, 2018 Cool roof! And nice city in general
Zetroc Posted January 31, 2018 Finally, a use for the 277 separators in my collection... TLG need to run a program through which these can be returned in return for reward. A silly waste of oil-based resources.
MAB Posted February 1, 2018 With that many you'll need a lot of bus stops, so double them up and make a train station roof instead ...
Ex cinno Posted February 1, 2018 Nice idea and MAB train station too.
gotoAndLego Posted February 1, 2018 (edited) Brick separators have very little clutch, for obvious reasons, so the way those are doubled up in the train platform means they can get bumped off. Not as bad as if there were just a single row. That’s why mine are connected to regular bricks in my bus stop. Edited February 1, 2018 by gotoAndLego
beverly888 Posted February 1, 2018 Very interesting, both front and back. Cheers! Beverly
iammac Posted February 2, 2018 It's a humble but good idea. I'm always up for an idea that uses what you have instead of what you wished you have. MAC
