Sure, you can make it:) Very nice and compact! Nice job! That is a wild one. Like it a lot. Thank you. It can be wilder with another tires indoor;) Edited June 19, 2013 by rm8 Quote
Balrog Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 That's a cool one. And pretty fast as well. I like it. Quote
piterx Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 oh yeah i've seen that one some days ago! i also posted on youtube :D i like it a lot! the bodywork is very nice too :) well done! Quote
Doc_Brown Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Wow this is sweet! Great performance and looks! I really like the bounce and soft suspension, great job! Quote
Zerobricks Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Looks and drives really well, but the only thing bothering me are the rubber bands. It looks less clean with them Quote
timslegos Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I love the looks of the truck, nice job. Looks like it drives well too. tim Quote
Lakop Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I love that truck! That's the sort of RC model I would like to make (haven't even made one yet despite getting my RC bits in april). I think I would need the servo motor for steering. One of those buggy motors would be good too. great job! H PDF instructions would be nice. Or am I asking too much. Happy building. H Quote
zux Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Cool model! Looking at your video I just can't wait until I get my 8475 set with 2 of those RC motors to build one quick running stuff. Quote
rm8 Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) Thank you guys. I used the same tchniques while building Sunset that I used in Boss: same panels. It is strange that in this post noone noted this cool truck by Pipasseyoyo: detailed supercar in middle scale. We have similar colours and use the same panels to build body. But my detalisation is very simple: no front bar, no additional lamps...My goal was body on fast chassis. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5779303 It was posted in the same time when I finished and tested my Sunset:) Edited June 20, 2013 by rm8 Quote
Lakop Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 You should organise a race. That's another model for my list. Great work by both of you. H Quote
N-4K0 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I first thought the orange/red one was yours, rebuilt with a different color scheme, but I didn't read the text properly first Quote
Teo LEGO Technic Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 That is such a cool baja! Do your think that adding another buggy motor would speed it up, or would the added weight outweigh the added speed? Quote
rm8 Posted February 15, 2014 Author Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) That is such a cool baja! Do your think that adding another buggy motor would speed it up, or would the added weight outweigh the added speed? Using 2 buggy motors with 2 receivers and 2 batteries give a small boost. But even better to use RC unit with two buggy motors. Edited February 15, 2014 by rm8 Quote
