I think the angle mudguard is a bigger problem than the angle of the fork. May be an easy fix, though I don't like the idea that I need to fix a set. Not one bit. Edited July 3 by Lipko Quote
R0Sch Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Btw, this set not only uses a new short Koenigegg shock absorber but also the 14T gear on the chain transmission. I'm almost finished with the build. Quote

Ngoc Nguyen Posted July 3 Posted July 3 (edited) I was about to ping kbalazs to inquire how he got this set so unusually early, then I realized today is July already... Edited July 3 by Ngoc Nguyen Quote
R0Sch Posted July 3 Posted July 3 (edited) I finished it before the review went online, but now I have final confirmation of where to put the hidden bee tile, so here is the file (including the new 6L shock and 14T gear mock-ups): 42238.io Edited July 3 by R0Sch Quote

That angle will stress the forks more at bending rather than compression, potentially damaging the parts over time. Looks are one thing but if the TECHNIC set doesn't even TECHNIC properly... Quote
TexasEngineer454 Posted July 7 Posted July 7 As someone who was an avid MX rider in my youth and a fan of the Ducati brand, I Like this set! Does anyone know the tire dimensions? I understand TLG modeled it after the new production dirtbike, but I think it'd look cooler with street tires. Similar to the "supermoto" or "motard" bikes. Quote

LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Nice set and nice features! Thanks @msk6003 for sharing the review video! Quote
gyenesvi Posted July 8 Posted July 8 This brings back the nostalgia of the 90s motorcycle that I never had, but always longed for. I don't like the angle of the front fork, but the rest looks kind of cool. Great to know that the new 6L spring is on par with the 6.5L one in terms of hardness. Quote
COPERNICON Posted July 12 Posted July 12 they could have included a one way gear with this set.... Quote

COPERNICON Posted July 12 Posted July 12 just think they could have done a little bit more with this set...even if it is just a crude and useless clutch or whatever, just so you have something extra to play with Quote

I don't think that either of these "function" would make any sense nor would it add any play value. Quote

vliet Posted Friday at 04:50 PM Posted Friday at 04:50 PM (edited) Our son build his 42238 thursday and he has 2 x 42924 and 2 x 65304 in his spare parts, I thought it is an unusual combination to have as spares. This morning I build mine and I had the normal small parts as spares except the parts I mentioned above. I have checked his build to see if he made a mistake and I can't find any, I checked my build where every 65304 goes, and we can't still find out if and where they belong. Has anyone those parts in his/her spares? Greetings, Sander and Jonas Edited Friday at 04:51 PM by vliet Quote
