  1. As someone who was an avid MX rider in my youth and a fan of the Ducati brand, I Like this set! Does anyone know the tire dimensions? I understand TLG modeled it after the new production dirtbike, but I think it'd look cooler with street tires. Similar to the "supermoto" or "motard" bikes.
  2. Just watched the RacingBrick review of the set and it confirmed this is my favorite in all of the new sets. Anyone know how it scales next to the 42175 truck? Looks like the Volvo maybe a bit wider, but similar proportions?
  3. Are the drive tries running directly from the motor? What is the purpose of the "clutch" gear?
  4. This is the only new set that actually interests me. The new front wheel/tire combo, the black wheel hubs (that I think are also new?), and the RC Hub are all parts I'd be interested in. As always, I wait for @kbalage RacingBrick's build and review to find out more about the set. Depending on price and availability this might be a buy for me.
  5. The trailing arms on the front suspension is an interesting solution. I've often noticed on my RC builds the control arms tend to have alot of front/back movement. This would seem to solve that. Your video shows that it still turns pretty sharp. Great job!
  6. This is awesome! If you dropped the gear ratio lower, how much weight do you think it could pull?
  7. I'd be willing to bet money that this will be the final step. I think the 42160 Audi was the last true PU RC vehicle? And that set is 2-3 years old now.
  8. As someone who watches Matt's YT channel quite a bit, you did an amazing job! I have been trying to build a scaled RC model of the Wrecker for about 6 months. Unfortunately, fitting the various functions (winches, front/rear steer, boom, etc.) has been more difficult than I had anticipated.
  9. What're your plans/ideas for the forklift? I've considered a skid steer/forklift in this scale but making the lifting mechanism strong enough to actually pick up something heavy is a challenge.
  10. As a big fan of the old school GT this is modeled after I was very interested in this set. I have the 42154 that I've added some PU motors and hub to and in the process of converting to a baja style rc car. The issue with this set is the price vs lack of parts to justify it. This is a $80ish set without a differential? Looking through the lego site it hit me that the cars at this scale are trending higher priced. Pretty sure I paid about $35 for the 42123 Mclaren just a few years ago. Now almost all of these types of sets are over $50.
  11. Any more details of the RWD/AWD engagement system? Been trying to figure out a good solution to that for one of my builds and it looks like you got it perfect! Great work!
  12. Any other images of the steering geometry? Looks like an interesting build! Great work!
  13. This seems like they may just be separating the loader from the truck in the 42175 set?
  14. I really enjoyed @kbalage review, but this may have shifted my willingness to buy this set upon release in a few weeks. I was expecting more speed, but compared to the 42124 it seemed to be lacking. I also saw that in the video and wondered if the rear outputs are spinning at the same speed as the side outputs? The hub itself is interesting because of the lights and the compact size, but I'll wait to see if the folks at BrickController get it worked into the app before I purchase.
  15. I guess I'm in the minority, but I really like this set. My only minor issue is the single rear axle on the truck with the small 49.5x14 tires. Wish TLG would've gone with either a dual rear axle or at least 56mm tires on the truck. Same with the small tires on the trailer.
