Yeah I definitely think they’ll give him dual-moulded legs in the BND sets. I agree it looks like the torso is the only ‘new’ aspect of the leak and the head / legs are just reused.

I would love if they finally gave Spidey a new alternate head with an accurate Tom Holland print too.

I don't think the reused head matters much tbh. If it works, it works, and it does it's job very well.

Wrong shade of blue, should be brighter. Reflections on concept art now random light shades of blue? Source material plus set photos I don't see how they did this so poorly. Thought for sure they would have nailed this design.

Color aside the design is spot on, even the back of the figure has awesome shading

Carterbricks on insta made an April fools story and some of it is true but he doesn't say which ones, there is a Nelson and Murdock mini modular one and no Punisher in the BND sets, these can either be true or false but I'm really worried the Punisher one is true since it feels like something Lego will do, I will never forgive them for this

Ironically I think if the Punisher one is true, the Nelson and Murdock one can't be. If they won't put punisher in a set based on a PG-13 movie he's in, I doubt we get a full set based on Daredevil this year when he's not officially coming in anything not rated R that I know of. 

I wouldn't be too worried yet, it is an april fools post after all. I didn't see what else was on the list, so I don't know what the other options were, but there's a good chance some of those are the true ones.

Honestly I think the figure IS spot-on. There are spots in the trailer where the suit color looks darker and some where it looks lighter, and I think the reflective-looking shading is a good compromise. It also makes this suit stand out compared to the comic suits we've been getting or previous MCU suits.

I wouldn't mind the head being used in general, but I don't like this specific MCU spidey head. I think the eye shape/size is slightly off, and the grey on it never made any sense to me. It's not a big deal for me even if they do end up going with it- it's not like spider-man heads are expensive- but this would have been a nice opportunity to update it.

I’d have bet on Punisher not being in the NWH sets even before this. Seems like another Deadpool situation where Lego wouldn’t want to be selling the character to children.
 

A Nelson and Murdock mini modular sounds like a pipe dream. What kid wants a lawyer office playset? Relive the excitement of Bullseye killing Elektra/Karen Page/Foggy Nelson.

I guess it's technically possible, but it's a weird situation to me.

Lego is fine with comic based versions of both Punisher and Deadpool in 18+ sets (We know from the designer interview that deadpool was considered but cut because he was still under fox so disney's "kill anything not in the MCU" soft rules were still being enforced, IIRC). Obviously this would not be an 18+ set, but it's also a version of the character EXPLICITLY based on a PG-13 movie. Assumably the reason they don't put the marvel knights or other characters media-associated with the R rating in stuff is because they're worried parents won't understand that this daredevil is you friendly neighborhood stilt-man counterpick and not the guy who's asking forgiveness for what he's about to do, but in this case Punisher is actively being marketed as a PG-13 character. I can't imagine you'd get many complaints at all about including a character who's being heavily marketed for a spider-man movie.

I could see lego doing it, but it just seems illogical.

Whether it's the X-mansion or not I think it's pretty clear there are more doomsday playsets coming than the two we know about.

I maintain that those two are tie-ins the same way that some of those NWH sets were tie-ins actually based at least in part on earlier films, and that come november or december there'll be a real doomsday wave. Three sets, one a statue and both of the others on the higher price end and being more on the display orientation side just feels like too little for an Avengers movie.

Take it with a grain of salt, but a maxifig of Spider-Punk might be coming!  Not sure why they‘d pick a Spidey variant as the first Marvel maxifig, but I‘d take it!

I thought Punisher not being featured in the BND sets while Sadie Sink‘s character is was an April Fool‘s prank, but knowing TLG this may well be true  That whole list included so many guesses and predictions (maybe even with some actual rumours sprinkled in like some leakers have done before), some bits just have to be real by chance alone

To be fair I guess we should have expected Sadie Sink's character given she'll spend a large portion of the film in civilian clothes and can thus be kitbashed- even if lego isn't told who she is, if they're given a set photo or the design they can throw her in for a relatively cheap cost.

I still think it'd be a massive misstep to not include Punisher. Figures aren't often my make-or-break for sets, but a Jon Bernthal Punisher figure would be whether or not I buy the transport set. (Now, at 367 pcs, unless it's a giant battle pack or includes a lot of large pieces I'd probably wait for a sale even if it had him, but it's still sale vs no sale.) I get that the comic versions are, well, the comic versions, but even though it's the same actor as the one in R-rated projects... it would be a figure explicitly based on a PG-13 movie, presumably with bright spider-man boxart.

I can buy Lego skipping out on Punisher. And if this is true, it basically also confirms that even if Deadpool shows up in Doomsday or Secret Wars that we shouldn't expect any minifigures for him in Lego sets for those movies.

The Sadie Sink character will definitely be 100% reused parts. She's the easiest to assemble and throw in somewhere.

They’ll probably just label her as “civilian” on the box if they don’t get a name, but it’d be hilarious if they actually called her “Sadie Sink’s character.”

If its based on Spider-verse then it might be the first one of these im picking up! They hit it out of the park with that design!

That being said, more Spideverse sets Lego!! Whats the deal here!

In terms of proportions, definitely!  But losing the tail would make it a downgrade in my eyes.
