But really, you can´t compare someone that had two appearances with way more important characters of the series appearing in several episodes each. Just now, williejm said: I would counter that earlier episodes always have more heft, not least as they are most frequently rewatched and re-aired. Fair point, but Flukemen is still recognizable as a monster without knowing who he is. And appearing in season two, isn´t that late considering the series has 11 seasons now. Quote
Black Falcon Posted July 5 Posted July 5 So what do you all expect the GWP will be? Something that really would increase day one sales would be the Lone Gunmen IMO. Other than that, no idea what else they would make that is as iconic Quote

Guiduvos Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Hello everyone, Today, I am presenting my first 100% original MOC : SACRÉ-CŒUR, Monmartre (PARIS) This is not a modification of an existing LEGO set. This landmark needs no introduction; it is an icon of the French capital, known the world over. I chose a scale similar to that of the Notre-Dame and Neuschwanstein sets. Its dimensions are 48 x 24 x 36 cm (L x W x H). It consists of 4067 pieces (the complete inventory can be found in the instructions). Using Studio and a 3D STL model, I was able to get as close as possible to the Sacré-Cœur's actual proportions. When actually building my MOC, I used the building instructions that you can download. They have been fully verified. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-267473/Guiduvos/sacre-cur-basilica-montmartre-paris/#details I’ll let you discover it for yourselves. I hope it brings you as much joy as I had creating it! Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted Tuesday at 11:14 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:14 AM Results of the 2025-3 period are in! 3 sets were picked, namely Jumanji, the Universal Monster castle, and the kimono ladies. 4 more were added to the parking lot! Pretty nice selection I think, especially the Jumanji one! Quote
SpacePolice89 Posted Tuesday at 11:26 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:26 AM Licenses and display models, very boring. Quote
JesseNight Posted Tuesday at 12:33 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:33 PM (edited) I can't even find them. What have they done to the old Ideas site? It was well structured, and it's so chaotic now... Where did they hide that oversight of the sets currently approved or in development per quarter of each year? [Edit] Nvm found them after a long strugglesome search. "Smart" filters auto assuming things I didn't set, and the Jumanji set was in the wrong category (still "in review"). Anyway, love the Jumanji set! Sure brings me back. RichardGoring Posted Tuesday at 01:53 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:53 PM Very curious choices, as always. The Universal Monsters might be a good way to boost the midnight valley sets and/or add some more characters to the valley, but the design as shown doesn't really seem appealing and feels fairly basic. It's better than I can do, but it doesn't really inspire, so will LEGO change it significantly and draw more ire for doing so? The Jumani and Kimonos sets look extremely well built and cleverly designed, but they don't interest me and I wonder what the broader appeal is. Nice that the Naruto: Ichiraku Ramen Shop has got a chance after so many attempts at that model (it feels like, anyway). Although very similar to the recent BDP program set. Ideas used to be my favourite theme, but far less so now. Of the 18 upcoming sets, only 4 appeal as ideas. And I really hope that Lunch Atop a Skyscraper makes it out of the parking lot. Of the 7 actual sets so far in 2026, only 1 really appeals, and of the 10 released in 2025, only 2-3. This is likely a combination of personal preference and the increased volume of sets, but it also feels a bit of a shame. At the same time, there are still a few sets per year that I like, and that should be enough. Maybe I'd be more frustrated if I really liked all of them. And they must sell well enough for LEGO to keep doing it. Quote
JesseNight Posted Tuesday at 07:19 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:19 PM Ideas is a very wide range of different themes and settings so obviously it's a matter of personal favor. So far the Tux Cat was the only Ideas set I've purchased because I'm a cats person and it appealed to me. I've seen many Ideas sets that were appealing and very original, but that just don't fit into any of the themes I put on display. And with the exception of former mentioned cat, I like my sets to play a part in a bigger whole. For that reason I am unlikely to buy the Jumanji set, even though I think it's well made and a very recognizable movie prop to anyone who was there in the mid 90s. Just a matter of choices and priorities I guess, I've long accepted that I don't have space for everything. My appeal to mostly larger sets isn't helping there Quote

I use to hide the Ideas tuxedo cat behind a pillow so that only the head is visible and then my cat starts to hit the head with his paws. Quote
Murdoch17 Posted Tuesday at 08:24 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:24 PM As I said on Brickset: The Jumanji film gave me nightmares as a kid - and I still can't re-watch it to this day due to several scenes. So, it's safe to say I won't be buying that set - no way, no how. If they ever did another Chris Van Allsburg based project, I want a Polar Express set. Hopefully one day, the bell will ring true for all of us and LEGO will give us that iconic 2-8-4. Quote

I plan to either make it all black, or get a second to make all black like one of my own cats. I have a tuxedo cat too but that one's a bit hard to match because she is a long haired, her fur alone makes her appear twice as wide as most cats Would take a crazy amount of modding to match her, so far my attempts haven't been looking good. 4 hours ago, Murdoch17 said: If they ever did another Chris Van Allsburg based project, I want a Polar Express set. Ngl I've always had a love/hate thing for LEGO trains. I love trains in general, but I hate how much space is needed to make something realistic in that scale, it's near impossible. Quote
Black Falcon Posted Wednesday at 07:27 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:27 PM (edited) The GWP for X-Files along with a picture of the side of the box showing the minifigs leaked and apparently we are getting two more minifigs, namely Krycek and X. Well and of course also Scully in the GWP but that isn´t really a surprise IMO. Edited Wednesday at 07:35 PM by Black Falcon Quote

ChewiBricks Posted Friday at 11:04 PM Posted Friday at 11:04 PM (edited) With real estate prices skyrocketing, many are searching for an affordable living situation. However, they need look no further than the 'brickpartment' building; the perfect place for a minifigure to live. Using refurbished Lego bricks, each apartment is fully furnished with a kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping space, this makes it both eco-friendly and accommodating. This building also welcomes pets so that you can have your furry, scaly or feathered friend with you. This build shows that even though real estate is getting more and more expensive, there are alternate options for places to live. Specifically, container living is economical, environmentally friendly, and still a comfortable living option. My build supports the idea that although containers are boxy and usually unattractive, when you take the time to customize and personalize them they become amazing homes. Each apartment has its own style and uses the space differently. The blue apartment has a more minimalist, beachy style, giving it a more relaxing, peaceful vibe. The green apartment, however, has a vintage, nostalgic style which gives it a cozy and warm vibe. Lastly, the red apartment is a techno modern style making it futuristic and fun. I was inspired to build this by the brick costume collectible minifigures from series 18 and 20. The apartments are designed to look like 2x3 bricks stacked together in a fun and attractive way, they are also scaled to be roughly 8x bigger. Each apartment has it's own unique style tailored to the minifigure residing there. The story of the creation of this design started on a late Sunday morning in spring. I had always wanted to make homes for all of my minifigures and I was really into my brick costume minifigures at the time. I started playing around with the idea of making their homes look like Lego bricks and that's when the idea really took off. I came up with the scale, colors, and dimensions while listening to the Josh Groban Awake album. Sadly, I didn't fine tune the build until about almost a year later when I got Bricklink Studio. However, once I downloaded it, I finished and polished the build very quickly. Although, there were some challenges along the way... It was difficult to fit all the basic necessities into such a small space, so I had to make things smaller than I originally wanted. However, after trial and error I added bathrooms in each apartment and tried to differentiate the floor plan. I also tried to make them more unique by choosing different styles and 'materials' for each level with the outside being completely modern and clean. Thus, I found the balance between aesthetics and functionality. I tried using a variety of building techniques from SNOT to some of the basic, fundamental techniques commonly used by builders. This is a Lego Product Idea designed by me meant to showcase the benefits of container living and encourage sustainability. If it reaches 10,000 supporters by a certain time, it will be reviewed by a Lego team and they will decide as to whether or not it will be made into an official Lego set.
