williejm Posted January 29 Posted January 29 With September’s CMF slot going to Shrek, I think we can assume that’s another ‘animal lite’ series (Big Bad Wolf, Dragon, Donkey & Puss in Boots don’t really count, do they?) Odd that we seem to have that list already but not the other pics for s29 (unless someone has just speculated on the main characters) Quote

Pretty sure that also happened in 2024 with the D&D series! If I remember correctly, there was also one year where we had pictures of the May series before the January one was on shelves even Quote

Lion King Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Soooo…. Nothing solid yet but there are rumors that there are more Jurassic World sets this year. I’m quite excited about a few new dinosaur molds but we will see what sets will have. Also, I was pleased that I ordered two unicorns from Unicorn Castle off PAB, ignoring yellow and pink Pegasuses. Now I’m waiting for Dreamzzz crystal creatures show up on PAB in couple of months. Quote

Have faith in and patience with the Man Upstairs. :) It looks like there is a rumored/leaked set from Jurassic World that has “Young T-Rex Transport Truck”. No idea what it looks like yet. Other sets will include Spinosaurus and Mosasaurus. No surprise since they are released last year. Quote

williejm Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Update: I had every version of the new / current horse, save the white Carousel version. I also have all versions of the new foal. I have less variety of the older ones than I realised - mostly as I’m missing the Native American printed ones - but I also did get rid of a bunch when they mould was updated 😬 I do however have the excellent grey horse from the Mill Village Raid set: we so need an updated grey horse (and no the spider-foal doesn’t count!). I’m not massively a horse person, but I do appreciate the working breeds like plough horses and ponies. My biggest gripe with the horses is that the bridle etc is always printed on. I kinda wish the horses were ‘bare’ and the various equipment was a separate price, but I realise that’s probably a niche view. Quote

How are we supposed to depict the moment that the fantasy heroine makes psychic contact with the wild horse that will become her bonded companion if it's already wearing a bridle? TLG needs to think about these things! Quote

Much as I coveted the western sets at the time, I still can’t get my head around either the Native American’s printed noses or the horses’ weird printed eyes. So I’ve never sought them out. Quote
