Cleansing the Shrine: MaC Entry

Recommended Posts

After the war, many of the wonders of Avalonia had been destroyed by the elemental a and the Hand. One of the ancient shrines near Burnby had been desecrated, and it fell to Cassius to repair and cleanse it.

(Sorry for the bad pics)

Alfred discusses with one of the priests, and a man and his son bake tiles at the oven.

Interesting use of the SW planet as a decoration. I also like the turtle/snail? with the green army man helmet.

Thanks! Yeah, it's a turtle.

Glad to see you enter! I like the sand green/white colors of the shrine, it reminds me of ZC's challenge V build

My favorite construction detail is the guy rounding the pillars  Excellent surprise with the Hand hideout too.

Don't forget to post a pic and link in the MAC topic

Good use of LOTR minifigure parts

Great little build. A lot going on, so that's a plus. I like the oven idea and the sculptor rounding out the edges. It seems very fluid and lifelike with everyone having their own task. The brown statue is interesting since I normally only see them in gray, but I like it.

And something I should have seen before on anything Avalonia, I really like the sand green arms on the dragon knight torsos. I know that is our colors, but I haven't really paid much attention to how that looks.

Good luck in the competition.

Thanks! The statue is brown because it was originally part of a big wooden arch/gate that didn't make it into he final Moc.

A very good moc for sure! I like all the action going on and all the minifigs posings!

Maybe add some plants/plates "growing" over the rather cut off cliff?

The shrine is nice, and I really enjoy your hidden Hand base beneath it. It looks as the shrine is built on a turf roof on a wooden building, I don't know if that was the intention? If not, maybe you should have had a bit thicker ground on the high ground before the room beneath starts.
