  1. Ahoy there! This is an entry for the Mini Set Category. In the middle of the Caribbean, there is a tiny island with a palm tree where the fearless pirate Cutlass Jane hides here treasure. A skull marks the spot! Use the shovel to remove the sand and reveal the shiny doubloons! This 30-piece set also includes a small tub and paddle that she can use to get to the island. This would be the first mini set to feature a female pirate! I hope ye fancy me entry. Comment away, mateys!
  2. Forget about the cave said to be hidden behind the skull carved in the rock. Beyond it there are treasures greater than your wildest dreams. Above the tall, rocky cliffs nestled in the dense forest there is a forest temple holding more treasure than all the rest of the treasure of the world combined. But *shhh* this is a secret, which may be as guarded as the treasure itself. When a fierce pirate named Marina learned of this secret, she quickly set sail to Treasure Island with her trusty, reliable companion called Wade. She glanced through her scope up high, and was shocked, for she thought she saw a figure high above. Still she was determined to get the treasure for herself. Most of the cliff sides are too steep to climb, expect for one area. Be careful though, as it is said that barbarians reside within the dense brush and palms. And even if you somehow make it past the barbarians, unspeakable and perhaps unknowable foes await you in the temple. This is my first Pirates Mod-MOC, as well as my first Pirates set. I like the 2015 Treasure Island set, but really wanted to expand it as soon as I got it. I was inspired by this interesting MOC my boyfriend built while I was modifying the set, so I decided to incorporate it:

    MOC treasure island

This is my latest MOC for my Pirates theme. I wanted a decent size island for the pirates. It has a simple skull rock, treasure and lots of green. I did my best to simulate a beach with jungle background. Hispaniola

168A Hi, I’d like to present my latest MOC – HMS Hispaniola – based on the ship from Robert Louis Stevenson’s greatest book „ Treasure Island” of course. The ship itself is a improved version of my previous ship – HMS Enterprize. I change colour scheme, stern and rigging - but still it is the weakest part of the ship. I also change the sails - they are the same but I taped it by rope, so they are rigid, look very good and doesn't shred. I also change a bit the masts and spars. I based the appearance of the ship from the "Treasure Island" movie with Charlton Heston as a Long John Silver and Christian Bale as Jim Hawkings (from 1990) but my ship isn't a true copy of the ship from the movie ( in the movie it was used the replica of HMS Bounty built in 1960 specially to the “Mutiny on the Bounty” movie from 1962 with Marlon Brando). Btw. I think this movie is a best screening of Robert Louis Stevenson's book and one of the best movies about pirates with great soundtrack also. So let’s sing that old pirate song: "Fifteen men on the dead man's chest—Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!" and see the pictures The main characters ( I purposely use from Long John Silver Redbeard's head and hat, because I don't know how to build minifigure similar to Long John Silver from movie) short story: and few screenshots of " Hispaniola" from the movie " Treasure Island" folder with all pics - http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=548938 - avilable when public

    Treasure Island - The Attack

[pid][/pid] 257D Based on the scene from R.L. Stevenson's Treasure Island, when the pirates are attacking the remains of the crew at Flint's fort. This is a special build for me, Treasure Island was THE book for me as a child, and still is one of my favorites. I didn't manage to make everything I wanted here, particularly with the terrain as I ran out of pieces, but I love how this turned out nevertheless.
