Great skid steer loader!

My latest alternative model would be good entry to Technic Mini Build Contest but I've finished it too late... I've built mini propeller plane out of set 42020 (twin rotor helicopter) that whirls its propeller when you're moving it around.

As set 8041 (Race Truck) coming back this year with new number 42041 I've decided to build another alternative model out of it. I wanted to build something totally different than oficial models so I've built propeller plane. Functions are similar to truck:

• Fake engine with moving pistons - I had to reduce it to V4.
  
• Steering - stick in cockpit controls moving of ailerons.
  
• BIG SIZE - it's bigger in all dimensions except height than original truck.

Not yet... Maybe I'll dismantle it tomorrow and begin working on it. If everything goes smooth you can expect it in May.

And now I'd like to introduce you my latest alternative model. It is plane build out of set 42035. Since this set contains lots of yellow parts I've decided to get inspiration in yellow Czechoslovakian cropduster plane Zlin Z-37 called "bumblebee". It features whirling propeller while it is moving.

There are building instructions for my two pretty old alternative models available at buildinst.cz now.

The first of them is truck with work platform built out of set 8052. It is one of my very first Technic models and I've used cab from official B-model in it.

The second model is hot rod Mk II built out of set 8041. It is upgraded version of original hot rod that I've built out of this set. You can also build it out of set 42041.

And the last is off-road formula built out of set 42037.
