Hi guys, I'm new here, and I want to present my newest MOC: Pierce Arrow XT "Tiller Truck" in colors of San Jose Fire Department A tiller truck, also known as a tractor-drawn aerial, tiller ladder, or hook-and-ladder truck, is a specialized turntable ladder mounted on a semi-trailer truck. Unlike a commercial semi, the trailer and tractor are permanently combined and special tools are required to separate them. It has two drivers, with separate steering wheels for front and rear wheels. One of the main features of the tiller-truck is its enhanced maneuverability. The independent steering of the front and back wheels allow the tiller to make much sharper turns which is particularly helpful on narrow streets and apartment complexes with mazelike roads. An additional feature of the tiller-truck is that its overall length, over 50 feet (15 m) for most models, allows for additional storage of tools and Equipment Some departments elect to use tiller-quints, which are tiller trucks that have the added feature of being fitted with an on-board water tank.[5] These are particularly useful for smaller departments that do not have enough personnel to staff both an engine company and a truck company. Real tiller truck responding: My Lego model has this functions: Hauler: - front axle steering "Hand of God" - movable engine pistons, wheel setup 6x4 - cab tilting - openable doors - lighting: 5x PF Lights, 6x Light brick 1x2 - (Lights & Sound) Ladder trailer: - wheels steering, (either with steering wheel in tillermans cab or through gearing on fifth wheel) - openable stowage compartments - sliding doors on tillerman`s cab - side outriggers - (hand operated) - ladder lifting - 2x linear actuator (hand operated) - ladder rotation - (hand operated) ,360° range - ladder boom (hand operated with string) - lighting: 5x PF Lights, Battery-Box, 1x PF Switch,+ 1x M-Motor & 2x PF Switch for flashing effect

I thought she deserved a vehicle of her own, but I couldn't really think of many vehicles that'd be useful for a spy, so I decided to go for the classics and build a mini-mecha. To access the mecha's interior, the hood folds up and the chest folds down. Since her Ultimate's main power is beetle bomb, I gave her a little pet beetle. It could be a plushie, but that'd make the launcher completely inexplicable, rather than merely mostly inexplicable. Sadly, I couldn't figure out a way to give it three pairs of legs rather than two. Thoughts? The red light inside the hood is supposed to represent some kind of heat ray device. The tr. red tiles are a stand-in for a Nexo Power shield inlay. When I build it in real life, I'm planning to replace the assembly connecting that little grappling hook to the rest of the mech with a stud launcher. Gallery. Comments and criticism appreciated!

Hello folks! Many people feel disappointed seeing newest incarnation of ToaTahu. Well, I can agree that some details could be made in better way (like arms) but overall I think he's a good set. Not perfect but good. Anyway I decided to give new Bionicle a chance and I bought Tahu. When I finally built him I felt that something is wrong with design - and I slowly began to improve him. And you know what? I really ejnoy this moment! So, here it is. My newest Tahu remake. Brickshelf (no collages) | DeviantArt| Flickr | Blog Don't worry if you feel that pictures are too small. If you go to my flickr/DA gallery (depending on what's your favourite) you should be able to see larger images. If you don't like collages - don't worry, you can still go to my Brickshelf gallery. I'm going to make a short video-presentation but I don't know when I'll finish it. Some details: As you can see his legs are now armoured not only from front but from behind too. I'm not sure about the side-panels but I'm afraid I don't have enough HF red parts. I decided to change his original hands into something a bit different. I came up with some new patents but finally I decided to use something simillar to MrBoltTron's concept because it looks much better. And yeah, he can hold his swords in hands! Last thing in this photo which I mention is armour which covers his gears. Don't worry, you can still rotate them (and arms) but more armour means reduced mobility. Fortunately on acceptable level :) Tahu can hold his swords on his back. The only disadvatage is that he's leaning little backwards but hey - these swords are little heavy! Anyway, for me it's still ok. Original model has a golden mask which makes Tahu more powerful. I made a collage with it: Still looks ok but I'm not sure if red one is better. You see, this construction has many golden parts (probably too much) and it needs some reds for contrast. And - what do you think about using this golden mask for Jaller remake creation? ;) Some extras: "Meet my new pet": Some of you may be wondering - what's happen to Tahu's surfing board? Well, I had so many pictures to process that I totally forgot about this :/ Anyway I hope you enjoyed my creation. And if you like you can ask me about it - I'll try my best to answer all your questions :) Best regards, ~ QQS EDIT Lava Board update:

Hello Community! It's been quite awhile since my last MOC. But I wasn't passive. In the meantime I've upgrated some of my models, especially the ones of my petroleum plant fire brigade "Jade Öl AG". So, let's start with a new special tanker equipped with a high reachable Turret, mobile water cannon and a heavy duty pump. It carries 7,000 liters of water and 3,000 liters of foam to the scene. You'll find a few more pics in the gallery on my blog. So, hope you like it. Comments and critics are welcome as usual. More MOCs to come. Regards!

Hey guys, This build was just a redo of a castle set i wish i had when i was a kid. A friend told me to enter it into CCCXII so I did but it didn't really fit in to any categories so I entered it into miscellaneous - large. This would have been good in last years categories, as there was a category for a redo of and old set with new parts. But whatever I'm very happy with this build. (also the gate at the front can be raised and lowered by the chains attached and in the middle of the castle there is a trap door that falls down to imprison unwanted intruders) Enjoy guys and let me know what you think! Hi Its been a while since I first posted my origanal Scotsburgh Fire department Appliances photo's http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=75356&hl= so thought it was about time I gave an update. Here are appliances/engines that were introduced through 2014. The first appliance/engine is a Scania/Bronto 28m Allrounder, which is an Aerial Rescue Pump. Basically a combined aerial appliance and Rescue Pump. As detailed its on a Scania crew cab chassis with double rear axle to take the weight and has Bronto 28m boom package. First photo's of this are from my LDD design of the appliance. I have brick built it so photo's to follow. Scania Chassis with water tank Scania Chassis with bodywork Unfortunatley I couldn't work out how to get LDD to allow the boom package to fit on the body, but you'll see it when I post the brick built version. Comments as always welcome.

This build has been a slow "Labour of Love" since summer 2012. I have made many modifications to it throughout the past 18 months. And now that Brent Waller's Ghostbuster's 30th Anniversary Ecto-1 Cuusoo project won the latest Cuusoo review I thought now was a good a time as any to post this build. There are a few Lego Ghostbuster Fire House's on the web and I drew my inspiration from Sean Kenny's build which you will see some similarities. My intention is to have this as a "Working" Fire station as part of my Scotsburgh Fire Dept. The following pictures are of first version of building. The first photo is of the station footprint and street. http://www.flickr.co...157641348126655 This photo is of the ground floor Appliance Hall with appliance doorway. http://www.flickr.co...57641348126655/ I then realised that the Appliance Hall wasnt going to be wide enough so, I took version 1 down and revised the footprint and changed the door at the back of the Applaince Hall to lead straight onto the pavement http://www.flickr.co...57641348126655/ http://www.flickr.co...57641348126655/ And completed Ground floor Appliance Hall with stairs leading to the First floor http://www.flickr.co...57641348126655/ First Floor in Build http://www.flickr.co...57641348126655/ http://www.flickr.co...57641348126655/ Ground and First Floor together with Second Floor in build and roof http://www.flickr.co...157641348126655 As can be seen from this photo and the one above, the front and back and both sides of the First and Second floors are symetrical http://www.flickr.co...157641348126655 And this photo shows the size of the building with the Fire engine alongside. It does fit into the Appliance Hall under the Archway, just. http://www.flickr.co...157641348126655 Well that is version 1 and Version 2. More to follow.

For a long time, I've had half a fire engine sitting on the shelf. Finally, after finding (and buying.... ) the Lego Fire Station 60004 on sale, I got around to finishing it. (Pardon the quality of the pics) Its taken quite a few iterations to reach the end result, and I quite like it. Its a typical main fire engine - the backstay of any modern fire department. It carries pumps, ladders and breathing apparatuses, as well as its own water tank, used for first efforts until a fire hydrant or similar water supply can be hooked up. Front left view: Rear-right view: Cab: The cab easily seats three, and has rear sliding-doors for easier access. (Or alternatively, just a gimmick from the builders side... ). Fire-chiefs sedan and hose tender trailer: Originally, I wanted to include the hoses on the fire engine itself, but I found it took too much room. Therefore, I decided to design a small hose tender trailer. As the fire engine is already by far the largest truck in the city, adding a trailer seemed a bit over the top. Therefore, I quickly put together a small fire-chief's sedan to pull the trailer. And, for all its simplicity, I quite like it. The tender trailer has a diesel pump, to allow it to pump water from for instance a pond, over longer distances to the scene of the fire. Front-left view: Rear-right view: Comparison with the 60004 turntable ladder truck And a small "action-shot": Thank you all for watching. C&C are welcome, of course. On a side note, I am planning to convert the 60004 building to some sort of modular standard. /Bregir out

Hi After taking a while to find a good time to upload this, as there have been a few good variations of this Modular plus the Coastguard version and after several requests, I thought now was a good at time as any to upload my version of a 2 bay MOD of the 10197 Fire Brigade. I built this over a year ago and realy only some internal details to finish it off. The building has been extended to the rear also to accomodate the fire engines based there. As my trucks are 23 studs long I needed 25 studs clearance and I wanted a bit of space all around so I built this station on a 48stud long baseplate and the applaince hall floor is 32 studs long using 2 x 16 stud tiles. There is even enough room for the engine from 7945 if it was stationed there. Front View - Date of when Station was extended Rear View - On roof you can see the enclosure for the pole drop from the room and this goes direct to the Ground floor. Side Side (Junior officers room) Side (Breathing Apparatus servicing room) Appliance Hall - Engine Room Upper Floor Rear (clockwise - Dorm, Pole Drop, Lecture Room, Senior Officer's office, Bathroom) Upper Floor Front - Not much different from the original but extra sofa and a table with chairs Hope you liked it and comments are always welcome.

As part of SeTechnic's 16th Contest, PG52 / PG5200 posted this great Lego Technic Fire Truck which has both Lego Pneumatics and Linear Actuator mechanisms. His (narrated in French) shows it in action. Read more about it on SeTechnic (in the original French and in this English translation). One can change the Google Translate "To" language to match your native language for better understanding.
