This is lovely. The exterior is beautifully done (and that roof really is something special), but the detailing on the interior is spectacular. The pipe organ is an obvious highlight, but that little pulpit with a tiny microphone is great. This struck a special note with me today, as I just got back from one of my best friends' wedding :) Oh, and the name: Immaculate Connection. Haha! But there are baseplates underneath, aren't there?

Wow, two great train stations in one day! I like the classic look of this, and its overall clean design. And very well presented, too. Well done!

I love this! The masonry bricks work perfectly for this kind of building, and the tiled floor with round 1x1s in between looks great. There are several other details that stand out well, but my favourite part of the whole thing is the colour choices you've made. It's gorgeous! Dark tan, dark orange, sand blue... lovely.

Another very nice entry. I very much like those lampposts! Good luck in the contest.

This is my favourite in this category thus far. The idea is great, the design is clean and classy, and it's beautifully photographed and presented. I've been waiting for this one, and I didn't get disappointed. Good luck - I think you're going to do very well!

I don't know of anybody named Kirstine, so it's not a common name, but it does exist - and it's much more likely that that was her name than Kristian. Kirsti or Kirstin, or Kristine, are more common variations, though.
-
Like I said, it's probably Kristina (or Kristin/Kristine). It should also be Sørensen, with an Ø, not Sorensen. But replacing the Ø with an O is common when writing Scandinavian names in English. Regarding the words on those bricks: They're all written correctly in Norwegian. As I said, I find it a bit strange that it says "BANKEN" as that means "THE BANK", not just "BANK", but I've seen your pictures of that brick and I know you're right :)

I like this a lot! It's very well built and contains some nice submodels (truck, car, forklift), and the way you've captured those falling shelves is great. Plus, the cartoonish detail with the guy's hair is a superb touch :)

This is very interesting, and I keep reading all the posts. I can tell you, however, that the name of Ole Kirk Christiansen's Norwegian wife was most certainly not Kristian Sørensen! Kristina, possibly, but not Kristian, which is a boys' name in Norway - no exceptions :)

The cars are very well designed, although too big for my personal taste. I did like that transparent engine cover though! And that said, the idea and the building itself are both great, the interior of the showroom looks very realistic and as others have said: The Ferrari lettering is spot-on. Definitely the star feature of this MOC!

This is a chunky one :) but great work, as always. So, is the rumour spreading about your boat building skills, so you'll get some more commissions? What could be better than making money off building Lego? :)

A lot of nice stuff here, but I have to agree with LT, that street sweeper is really the best one. Very cute and the perfect size! I also like the VW taxi, and the idea of re-making that classic blue/yellow truck.

This is great - another lovely piece of work by a master of the trade :) That broken fence is wonderful! Now, off to Flickr...

I really like what you've done with it. And there's still room for expansion :)

MOC: Mini Modular Galaxy Diner and Empire Theater

Indeed! Surprisingly well. From a thumbnail it would be almost impossible to tell the difference - which is probably the best sign that the shrinking was successful :) and best of all: This is a version of your lovely buildings that we could all easily afford! I'm very much tempted to make my own when the LDD file arrives... -
Now, that's a nice building. The idea is wonderful, and you've executed it just about perfectly. The themed rooms are fantastic, and the whole thing looks stunning inside and out. Add to that a great presentation, and you've just raised the bar even more for this contest :) EDIT: Oops, post number 1.000. I was planning on saving that for something else, but whaddyaknow, let's just say that commenting on this museum was a worthy way to celebrate my Count status!

I have to say that I really like 'my' car :) The nose is a tiny bit long, in my opinion, and I don't like it very much when minifigs have to lie down in cars. But apart from that it's a stunning rendition of the real thing, and doing that on this scale is hugely impressive. It's instantly recognisable. Very well done!

As you know, I've followed your progress on this, and I have to say the end result looks spectacular. I'm still debating whether I think the colours are nice or just crazy, but the details are wonderful. Those curtains are brilliant, and I also really like the entrance. The windmill is a very inspired addition that is sure to make this stand out from anything else (not least because it's actually working!). And the minifigs are great - especially the two assistants!
-
It's gorgeous! The transparent roof is a very neat touch, and I love all the details - especially the interior. That jukebox is lovely :) and the two different shades of red work surprisingly well together. The awning and the diagonal pattern below the windows look great. A name? How about HoExpress Diner? :)

This is a great entry in every way - I love the overall shape of it, the architecture, the modern extension with the glass roof, the interior and - obviously - that floor. An extraordinary modular building. Well done!
-
Gorgeous! I love the way you've achieved the look of a thick, heavy cover of snow on the roof. It gives me a very Nordic vibe. And the inclusion of the sauna makes it unmistakably Finnish :D
-
This is your first MOC? I'd never have guessed. You're on to something really nice here. I'm very much looking forward to seeing this finished - even though it will mean another great entry for me to compete with :)

I'm glad to hear the listing has been removed. This guy is really a pain in the behind - and he's obviously made quite a lot of money on this. -
The roof is, as others have said, amazing. Well done on that! And are my eyes deceiving me, or are those walls all built with plates? Must be an insane amount of parts, then?
