  1. Don't freak out, man. You're harshing my mellow.
  2. Ooooh, a riddle! Ummm.... "Late for dinner"?
  3. There's a chance we'll get something based on the new movies Rowling is working on, but I doubt we'll get anything more than that.
  4. Merry Christmas! Great selection of figs once again this year, Mike. Thanks for putting this together.
  5. Shrek was not a Disney movie, there's no chance at all of Fiona being in the Princess line.
  6. I sort of like the steamroller. I agree with those that wanted a different minifig than Robin in it, though. For me, Dick Grayson is Robin so I'm not as interested in other Robins. I admit that Batgirl is the driving force for me with this set, however. I hope we get a more classic Batgirl soon, but until then, this is a must have.
  7. @RealWalkers- I've merged your topic here.
  8. Beauty and the Prince formerly known as Beast.
  9. Since this is a custom minifig, I've moved it here. Even if it were a WoW MOC, though, since that is not an official license that LEGO produces, it would probably go in History.
  10. While it is nice of these other members to want to help, this isn't the forum for such questions. I'd advise that if you really have trouble with it, to seek the help of your teacher or a tutor. I'm sure they can give you an understanding of how to get the answer better than a forum such as ours can.
  11. For 150 pieces it had better be $20. It'd be really overpriced otherwise.
  12. The first post of this thread has been updated with the pictures.
  13. Tinkerbell has her own Fairy theme. If this does work out, they might include a line for her and her friends in the future but she's not normally included in the "Princess" marketing.
  14. These are pretty fun looking. My favorite has to be the firetruck mech. Too bad it looks like it will be on the expensive end. Thankfully one of my other favorites, the glider, looks to be at the 10-12 dollar range. So many great parts in that one. I do hope the torsos on the robots don't have gray "skin" showing so they can be more easily integrated into a real western town. Between those and the Lone Ranger sets, we've got quite a few options for western townsfolk. I can't wait for a larger/alternate picture of the western plan set as well to get a better look at those minifigs.
  15. I don't know, Gryphon Ink, the Merida pictured in the box art looks like the movie version rather than the revamped "princess". That, at least, gives me a bit of hope about the future of the line. Plus the set consists of her shooting a bow at a target. If she was having a tea party with Belle, it'd be different. Even though the set does contain a mishmash of scenes from the movie, they aren't overly princess-ified scenes. The triplets with a cookie catapult are pretty funny. The will-o'-the-wisps, which were a bit creepy in the movie are even represented. Sure, it's not a cage match with Mordu, but I'll take it.

  17. It does look shorter from a top/down perspective since you can't see the part behind the head. In the movie, her hair is all over the place with lots of wispy curls. That's gotta be hard to sculpt at that scale and not be too pokey for little kids to play with. If they were to make a new piece altogether, I'd think it would only be the length that might change. I do agree with the generic face comment. They could have at least given her reddish eyebrows or a mischievous grin. TLG's designers have done some great things with subtle changes on minifigure heads, I wouldn't think making these minidoll faces look more unique shouldn't be too hard.
  18. I don't think the minidoll looks that bad but the triplets, cookies, target, mushroom, purple door, etc. are much more useful.
  19. Wow. Like your previous Star Trek creations, everything is just so perfect. Very cleanly designed. I wish that I could afford to build all of them just to reenact episodes for an afternoon.
  20. I don't think that they're simple because they're girl sets but rather because they appeal to a slightly younger audience than even the Friends line would. TLG has tried themes that bridge the gap between Duplo and regular system with varying degrees of success. This may be a perfect fit between the Princess Duplo sets and the Friends line. My daughter is five and I think she might be able to put some of these together entirely on her own.
  21. Yeah, Dave, it was the talk of you dying and stuff you said about knowing a few roles. There wasn't a reason for the scum to kill you over anyone else unless they knew you had a night action. I thought you were broadcasting that you had a role with that post.
  22. It's funny but I'm also really digging the Juniors Batman set. That Batman and Robin are just what I need for my Super Friends. I only wish it was a villain I didn't already have (and one I wasn't already getting another version of this year in the Steamroller). That is one of the cutest little Batmobiles ever, also. The Doc Ock set looks promising and I hope it's a more classic Ock as well, even though I did buy the old Ock a while back. The only other Spiderman set I'll probably consider is the cheapest one and that depends on how good the Electro is since he'll be the reason I'd get it. Oh and just a reminder, please do not embed (we call it deeplinking sometimes) the confidential pictures here. Links to the pictures off site are permissible but the pictures themselves should not be posted directly.
  23. It really did seem like fishing at first. Before the end I knew you were town. My biggest concern was what you said in thread, though. I was worried that the scum would realize that you had some importance and kill you instead of me. If I'd lived I probably would have been on the wrong trail and thought Eva was either the godfather or pushed for the investigator being fake. So it's really a good thing for town that the scum took my bait.
  24. I thought that was you, Cecilie. I was Donald. Was it def or Tammo that was on to me? Either way, being blocked twice and having nothing left prompted me to try draw the scum kill. Especially since it was fairly obvious who the investigator was. I figured out from Anne's conversation with me that Jo was the protector (work on that in the future, Anne). It was nice, though, that I could tell Cecilie what I was trying to do and get her not to protect me. So basically, I was a magnet for scum actions every night. Looking back, I don't really feel my blocking was wasted since they wasted their block on me . I would have had to guess their blocker to have been that good with my ability. I was trying not to play like me. Must not have been to successful with that.
