I apologize if I sounded harsh, I certainly didn't mean to. And I know how distracting the little ones can be. It is a lovely MOC and I wish it the best as CUUSOO project. It makes me want to watch the movie again.

Super Heroes 2014 Rumors & Discussion
CorneliusMurdock replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Aanchir, it hasn't been confirmed that anything will be branded with "Beware the Batman". The Riddler Chase has some elements that are obviously inspired by it but it also includes Riddler and Flash and neither are featured in that show to my knowledge. It's entirely possible that inspiration will be as far as it goes with the cartoon affecting the sets. This would mean, of course, that there would be no significant difference in overall aesthetics of the minifigures.- 9,756 replies

Super Heroes 2014 Rumors & Discussion

It looks like they may have designed the hair to give some more space for a cape. Hopefully it works because she wouldn't look quite right without one. It doesn't make sense for LEGO to make a new mold specifically for a caped superheroine without taking a cape into account.- 9,756 replies

Great work as usual, Captain. The snow-covered effect works really well here. -

305Bats, the good news for fans of more classic looks is that the hair/mask piece is being made for Batgirl. A torso decal would be easy compared to sculpting a new part. Even if you're not interested in customizing, the chances of LEGO reusing that mold are pretty good. If they find that Batgirl sells well, we may very well get her in a classic costume further down the line. I, too, wish that they'd gone for a more classic look but just getting Batgirl at all is wonderful news. One more minifigure my daughter will try to steal from me.- 9,756 replies

Mafia After Dark - Conclusion: City of Gods
CorneliusMurdock replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I was so very close to winning this. Most of the game I was on acting in the interest of the town because it made for a good cover story and I needed to keep the balance going to the final four. I took some risks but I think they paid off for the most part. My biggest regret is not being able to put as much work into this the first couple game days. Some things came up and by the time I could devote the time, I was being accused both here and in Cruel Angel s Thesis. It made for a stressful week or so. Once I claimed, and no one came forward to contradict it, I was very relieved to be trusted. I did suspect the scum had role-copped me, and that was one reason I thought Trumpet was scum. Kristel, did you suspect me at all? If I'd pushed harder for protection, could I have gotten it without rousing your suspicion? -
Just a couple of things. If you could share more pictures and maybe a little bit about the MOC in your own words, it would make this less like a sales pitch and more of a MOC presentation which is what we want here. Secondly, The Iron Giant is not an official LEGO license so I'm moving this to Sci-Fi, where a robot who comes to earth to befriend a boy and kill all humans will feel at home. It's possible I'm thinking of the Futurama parody with the kill all humans thing...

Heroica RPG - Cruel Angel's Thesis ~ Final Day
CorneliusMurdock replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Between the transparency of the day and night actions, the magnifying glasses, and the essences, it was impossible for us to win and that diminished my enjoyment of the game somewhat. For a game that was different in many ways to mafia, we had no time for a learning curve. The only time I attacked, CMP the first night, made me immediately suspect. Being seen protecting Shadows sealed my fate. It was only a matter of time before enough people attacked me before I could protect myself. I did have some fun poking Kadabra and CMP for a few days and trying to cause as much confusion as possible before my death. I'd like to think I got a few townies killed. But overall it was exhausting trying to keep my head above water. Too much common sense going around for me to fool people for long. And not enough bloodthirstiness for town to destroy itself. I think we as a scum team did our best. If there weren't so many methods for exposing us, we were in many different camps manipulating people. I'm proud of us.- 109 replies

Mafia After Dark - Day 7: Public Enemies

With their protection action? No way of knowing without being scum. We know it wasn't Cebastian. For their kill, we probably won't know for a little while. -
Mafia After Dark - Day 7: Public Enemies
CorneliusMurdock replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It was a processed decision. Kris and I worked it out so that we could avoid the scum protector. We fed Cebastian information that I was going to kill Candy and then we'd all switch votes to Priscilla afterwards to fake out the scum. Which was going to be the original plan, actually, until we thought more about a few things. We're pretty sure that Cebastian was scum based on a few things that it wouldn't be prudent to discuss here. -

Let's stop this now. Opinions on the movie should be kept to a minimum in this thread. I'm sure there are other places for that sort of thing. Discussion should relate directly to potential sets. -
Mafia After Dark - Day 7: Public Enemies
CorneliusMurdock replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ever heard of flavor text, Priscilla? Has Tammo offered any other hints in such a way? It's not just my word we went with for Candy. She was scumtastic long before I tried to kill her. Are you really not paying attention or are you trying to get a possible protector to have second thoughts about protecting me? It's not going to work. I've done much more to prove myself than you. What exactly have you done besides make up stories about serial killers? -

All right, I suppose we just sit around and wait for the scum to kill or, hopefully, fail to kill. Anyone want to talk about anything? Hey, I heard that, Kris. I'm a nice guy. Why doesn't anyone like me?... -

Maybe it is a little obvious who the remaining scum are. Let's not blurt out their names, though. Gotta keep the secret or they'll know we're on to them.
