You're more than welcome to drop by anytime. Thanks and may they inspire you to create your own. AC PS. Minor update done.

Thanks and it's still an MOC, so many viewers most likely pass it by. AC PS. Another update done, please go back to first post to view it.

Thanks all for your comments though I've only posted the general planned layout/updates. Now the gate has been updated so go back to the first post to view it. AC

That surrounding area was initially all in white and replaced with the trans-blue plates for added detail. Thanks all for your comments! The cloning modules was what started this MOC and it took quite a bit of experimentation with various techniques to get the whole structure stable enough to carry all 38 embryo canisters. The surrounding area just followed suit after that. Those red tanks shown in the preview were meant to be easter eggs as I highly doubt it if many would've noticed them right away from this completed MOC. Yes, the clone embryos/fetuses are contained in the canisters and the addition of the other minifigs complete the backstory to the whole scene. You two must have been conversing a lot since you're sounding off on similar notes! That was patterned after some background scenes and props to you for mentioning that. You should really view the rest of the detailed pics. Thanks again for the blog! AC

Katanakaji posted July 5, 2011 On the right side of the Samurai house, the horse stables and the swordsmith (katanakaji) serve the needs of the Red Castle to prepare for battle. Seiroyagura posted June 25, 2011 The Seiroyagura (lookout tower) overlooks the gate and provides a clear view throughout the Red castle grounds. More vegetation to be added around the tower as the Samurai house and the dojo can be seen in the background. Samurai house posted June 20, 2011 Built across the dojo, the Samurai house serves as the home of the pupils thoughout their training period. Modestly furnished, they all learn to live, eat, sleep and train together under one roof. Red castle gate posted June 13, 2011 The Kabukimon gate is flanked on both sides by yaguras to protect the vulnerable stone walls from frontal attack. WIP Intro posted June 12, 2011 After finally deconstructing an old MOC, I've managed to clear out the workspace (5'x8' table) for my next project. Two components which have actually been built are the dojo and main castle. The dojo will most likely remain intact with minor mods but separated farther from the gate. The walls on both sides of the gate will be expanded as there's going to be more space to work with. The main castle will stay the same but planned to be on higher ground/elevation by at least six studs. The surrounding area would have more vegetation and some sort of training grounds. Stay tuned as this thread will be updated as work progresses. AC

Head on over to the completed MOC. AC

The Republic learns of an impending Separatist attack on Kamino bent on destroying Kamino's clone production facilities and sends reinforcements for the defense of the planet. Obi-Wan tours one of the cloning facilities with Lama Su as Fives and Echo meet up with an old friend Ninety-Nine. As usual, click the pics for more details. AC

It's still a WIP and I don't claim it to be an exact replica of the facility. Call it more like artistic license to be able to interpret a scene in an artist perspective. You got that right! Only if you're willing to ante up at least a hundred geonosians for it! AC

None of these make sense to my current MOC. AC PS. I knew I'll get a lot of ribbing even before I posted these. But guess where they'll end up one of these days!

Second pic posted, go back to first post to view it. No problem at all, another corner shown. Just a few more days to go, probably less as the details on the main structure are in progress. AC

I always post my works on EB, Flickr and MOCpages as not all viewers from these go to other sites. That could be it! Don't want to figure that out but there's always several in the works! You got that right! Agreed! Been called far worse than that and I mean not even in a complimentary way. But who's laughing now? This is actually just one of the corners in the final dio. Just a couple of days to go, but the weekend looks so good that I'll be spending some time in the beach! Way to spoil the surprise KD! That's part of the reason why I used the red tanks. The other reason was that this was an easter egg in the whole dio. When you get to see the completed one, you'll know what I mean. Not yet done. Yes, it will be. Bigger but not by much as the whole dio is just on a 48x48 large baseplate. See comments above!AC

Should be blue cylinders, but these clones need more work! Those are meters and guess why this batch need more time in the tanks! AC

One down for an updated version of an old MOC. The first WIP pic had studs out and then had to change with tiles after viewing various pics of the pit. You'll get the next seat beside Solscud007. Those are four levels/rows increasing by four from bottom to top for each level. There's at least 50 teeth at the top, so do the math to get the total! Unfortunately yes, they'll eventually get deconstructed when I need the bricks for newer MOCs. AC
-
Lmk where I can send you the invite so you can get the front row! AC

There's more where those tiles came from. It's somehow more work trying to make those look seemingly random! Yeah, it made my thumbs sore sticking them in the right places! Just additional fill-in details... Ask KD about it! Have you figured out how that was done? Patience, patience, patience! It's no secret as it's been posted before in the WIP thread. AC

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, it's been completed. AC

Though no one in recorded history had ever escaped from the Sarlacc, Boba Fett was able to escape, although not entirely unscathed. Thanks to his iron will and Mandalorian armor, he was able to fight his way out of the beast's belly, killing the Sarlacc. Back in action, he continued his work as a bounty hunter. As usual, click the pic to view more details... AC

The first one had the keychain version while this current one has the latest from the Slave I version 3. And yes the wrist flamethrower is on the left hand which is the correct version based from the wiki comic illustration. It should be completed by this weekend as long as it doesn't interfere with the half-marathon race that I have on Saturday. AC

Tried as much as possible to get the sleek, smooth look from end to end. You just have to wait and see what comes next! I've actually got the Hasbro skiff which I used as a reference model for this. Just noticed what you meant about the red hands, so try harder! Nah, the plank's good as I've tried for a longer one at first and didn't like it. Jabba maybe the owner of the skiff but I doubt you'll ever see him ride it. It's his bunch of bounty hunters, smugglers and other scoundrels that actually ride it. The similarity was unintentional as I've used the Hasbro skiff as reference model in building this. What I wanted to capture the most were the little details (bottom sloping, vanes, back thrusters, etc) and yet not overkill in the general design. The Hasbro skiff is more moss green (kinda fatigue army color) rather than tan which would make it look pale. ^Ditto^ That's mostly old dark gray. No dark tan pieces on this, just old dark gray and new dark bluish gray with black details. You'll just have to wait like everybody else.

Skiffs are general repulsorlift vehicles featuring an open deck with a control station at the rear of the vehicle. Desert skiffs such as those owned by Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine are fitted with sand filters and enhanced engine cooling systems. Jabba's skiffs also had extendable gangplanks where enemies where forced to walk the plank and usually found themselves in the gullet of the mighty Sarlacc. As usual, click the pics for more details! And don't forget to check out the speeder if you haven't seen it yet.

Besides the obvious, the beak was modiified a bit. The sand surrounding the pit doesn't show much grain, more smooth and no rock-like formations as in the first pic so had it tiled and not as steep. You've read more about Fett than I did. For somebody who got just several minutes of screen time, he certainly is one character to be dealt with! AC

Part 2 completed. AC

I must admit that I haven't read enough about Fett's exploits after ROTJ but the one thing that kinda stuck in my mind was a comic illustration of him blasting his flamethrower at the sarlacc. I'm not sure whether it's the same one that's in the SW wiki that I've seen before. AC
