  2. This is what I'm talking about when I've thought about the community builds. Even the other themes have risen up to the occasion and started their own CBs! Looks like we've got a good timeline of things worked out now for future CBs; a month and a half for the builds followed by a two week break for catch-ups. It shouldn't be a surprise on what the next theme that I'll be leading would be and the announcement would be made in a couple of days. But after this next CB, I'll step off from leading future CBs so that other EB members can step up to the plate. However, let's try to maintain only one CB going on at any one time following the timeline. Thanks again for your participation and continued support of these! AC PS. Special thanks goes to the mods for letting us accomplish these and their support in every aspect of the builds!
  3. Thanks for the blog! I've added a close-up pic that shows one of them but you should view the other pics for more details. I'll be surprised if TLG doesn't take advantage of the possibilities for new sets coming from the new CW season 4. See response above for the aqua droids. Thanks! AC
  4. Thanks KD for picking up the CB while I was away. I'd like and great idea for doing this! AC
  5. The Quarren and Separatist forces assemble underneath the massive foliage of water vegetation to stage their initial attack on the Mon Calamari. Click the pics for more details... AC
  6. Yeah, I've used Brickshelf for my earlier works. Now it's really done. AC PS. Added merged scenes and alternate views.
  7. Entry added. Entry added. Entry added. Better get to it next time! Entry added. Finish it and submit when done. Next CB won't be announced until two weeks. Entry added. Entry added. Entry added. AC PS. Thanks all for your entries and latecomers are still welcome. Next CB would be announced mid-November.
  8. Brickjournal subscribers will see in the November 2011 #16 issue about Steampunk, the Jabba's Steampunk Barge featured in the Community section Steam Wars: Star Wars in Steampunk. Click Flash preview or PDF preview. AC
  9. That was intentional based from the actual movie scenes. Thanks for the blog! Yes, that was the intended mood for the scene. Now, let's not get ahead too much. Not likely to happen but I'm glad that it was done. I just wish that it could have been a bigger poster so that it could cover more. Yeah, the trees started it all. The bley and grey texture lent more to the contrast of the brown for the trees for the murky, swampy look. Those clear cheese slopes came in handy! Wouldn't feel right if R2 was shiny. AC
  10. Entry added. There's only one rule, it must be from ESB. Added. Anything to add to the community build matters, just take a look at the other LDD builds. AC
  11. I'm a sucker for the classic sets. That's the general idea! And now it's completed! Go back to the top and see the final scene! AC
  12. To all EB members and guests, In just three weeks on November 6, 2011, I'll be running my first ING New York City Marathon. Long distance running is my other hobby and don't worry if I won't be responding to the boards after Halloween as I'll be busy with my preparation and activities for the event. AC
  13. Entry added. You lazy ... get on with it! Keep them coming! Entry added. Entry added and you should ask the mods to switch the description and the subject on your entry. AC. PS. Last two weeks to go and hopefully there'll be a flurry of entries coming in or else I might have to hound every one else on the list!
  14. I've used that surfer hair for Luke in different scenes and unfortunately due to time constraints, what details you see on this scene is final. Got to move on to the final scene to complete this MOC. AC. PS. Just added a closeup pic.
  15. I've been told that they have that effect on others too! It's growing bigger! Added another scene to this. The latest installment gives you a better idea. AC PS. You can all go back to the first post to see what happened.
  16. Second entry added. Entry added. Signed up. Second entry added. AC PS.Keep them coming and we're half-way through the build time.
  17. This is the same dragon which wraps around in the NYC Rockefeller store. AC
  18. Thanks and you should drop by LSW more often. I do but I never take pics of them until I'm fully satisfied. That's the surfer's hair which I've used for Luke in other MOCs. AC
  19. Signed up. Updated. Now we know what it was. Replaced. Never too late, you're in. Entry updated. AC
  20. Not a Lego store, but a TRU in Times Square NYC. AC
  21. You're in, what matters is you've joined and become an active participant of the EB LSW community. Signed up! AC
  22. Sure, you can. Yes indeed! You're in. AC
  23. Thanks for the blog! Change of pace this time after the DS scenes. AC PS. Already working on the next scene.
  24. Lego store at Bridgewater Mall, New Jersey Pics were taken in 2008 when my MOC was on display. AC
  25. Besides the glow effect, I've had to darken the overall pic to get the appropriate mood for it. He was hiding behind the stump in the actual scene, just put a little Lego-ish spin to it. AC PS. Added a close-up pic for you lazy bastards who don't click to get more details!
