  1. I'd guess that the Mr Freeze poly will get announced shortly before the VIP early release of the Bat Cave to coincide with that. Cosmic Boy is in the Cosmic Clash Blu-ray / DVD so we just need a date for that (at least in the UK). We just need confirmation of the Buccaneer Bats in the DC book. I dread to think that they'll cook up for the SDCC releases this year. I'm hoping there's an exclusive Nexo Knights and maybe one other theme so we're down to one each for DC and Marvel.
  2. Definitely a Quad Jumper ship. Finn asks about the ship off screen, which turns out to be the Falcon and Rey say's it's junk and to use the ship they're running to. It gets blown up so they go to the junk and fly off!
  3. I'm actually selling a Phoenix Customs Collector figure at the moment and if you like the PPM version then you'll be gobsmacked at the quality of the Phoenix version. OLS are very good and their designs and print are cleaner than PPM but he does tend to charge a lot for a digitally printed figure. You can get pad printed figures for around the same price. I normally order bootlegs from AE as they're cheaper and invariably you can pick up single figures now so it helps. Even if you buy one figure for 69p it gets free shipping to the UK.
  4. I think it all depends on how much you're willing to spend on a custom compared to a bootleg alternative. Christo has done Shazam and Bizarro which are both perfect which will cost you around £25 each. I also have a Bizarro that was made from the SY set along with genuine arms, hips/legs, cape and a head from Onlinesailin and it's pretty much perfect also but cost around £5 in total. For Symbiote Spiderman I'd get a Venom figure then maybe get a head from Firestar Toys. It's not pad printed but for just white eyes on black it'll look pretty good. Alternatively Muddy River Minifies on eBay sells a pad printed custom which is perfect for £15 but you've got £10 postage. With the Christo figures you would have three perfect SDCC copies on genuine Lego for £75 which isn't bad. SY are bringing out a Sam Wilson in their most recent set so add genuine dual moulded legs, arms and hair to that and it'll be pretty much perfect and will cost around £4 in total. The DLP versions is good also but he print on the grey areas of the torso is a little dark so I'm hoping the SY version is might and more accurate. Green Lantern SDCC is either an older SY figure in the set of 8 Lanterns or the Decool version. I've kept my SY version as the Decool can be hit and miss on print alignment. I picked up a head from OLS years ago so I use that on mine. Black Suit Superman is easy. SY did a set which has a perfect torso. Simply add a black cape along with Zod's legs and genuine Supes head and hair and that is also perfect... in total around £5 for that figure. Green Arrow I'd go for the SY version as the printing is perfect but the belt areas are brown instead of black otherwise you can pick up a Decool one and hope the print is good. First one I got wasn't great then I got a pretty good one but I kept the SY version and changed the hood, head and arms for genuine Lego. SDCC Batman 2011 version is in a SY vehicle set and is also perfect. I changed the cape, arms, legs and head to genuine Lego so it was as much genuine as possible but it's pretty much perfect straight out of the box. Batman ZEA you can make from a mixture of Decool, SY and DLP. Head and cowl I've kept from the cool version as it's double sided head. Legs from the SY version and the body from the DLP as it has the accurate printing on the back. Add genuine arms along with a genuine cape and baseball bat and you're done for around £7 in total. Collector just go with the Phoenix Customs version but you already have that. SY Phoenix along with Decool head, genuine hair and arms and that's also pretty much perfect. Nobody has bootlegged or pad printed Spiderwoman yet although you can pick up a digital print version from Poppunkymunky Customs on eBay. SY and Decool have both done Amazing Spiderman so just order a couple of each and hope for good print especially if you can find them on single sale on Aliexpress. With Arsenal you have Decool, SY and DLP to go for. Decool copied my drawing of the figure on Flickr so the back isn't accurate as it was a guess but the figure is OK. DLP didn't print the silver so I wouldn't bother with that one. SY have it in their set with Sam Wilson so you get both if you pick that set up. I always prefer to replace anything I can with genuine parts such as arms, hoods etc where possible so give that a go. Have I missed anything?
  5. erm... http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Custom-Lego-Batman-Zebra-/381525496968?nav=WATCHING_ENDED
  6. Yeah... the last one went for over $400. It's a good job mine didn't cost anywhere near that much then isn't it? ;)
  7. Apparently one is on the way. There should be at least two UCS SW sets this year. Maybe a third if we get the Hoth / Death Star / Snowspeeder sets that have been rumoured.
  8. I don't actually think Unkar will have much significance to Rey at all in the future films. He just happened to run the trading post. If they never go back to Jakku (and who's to say they will?) there's no reason for him to make another appearance in the trilogy. Maybe in some flashbacks to Rey's childhood but I think there's enough to develop in Rey's training to suggest they don't need to bring it up too much.
  9. He's very good. I've still got one OLS figure and that's the Arkham Scarecrow with the gas mask discs on his face. I don't buy digital print anymore as it would get too expensive and I prefer to live with pad printed or nothing but if you're going to go for a digitally printed figure then he's probably your best bet.
  10. If you mean how much a figure is worth then I'd look at completed listings on eBay and Bricklink prices. It's one thing for people to list a figure at £25 on eBay but if the last one that actually sold went for £13 and the cost on BrickLink is similar to that sold price then you have a value for that figure. The original Scarecrow, Bane, Killer Croc etc all still sell for good amounts and I don't see that changing with any of the new additions. The original Batman line figures have all been superseded by the Superheroes figures but the originals hold their value. I'm not sure how that translates to figures in other lines such as Greedo which was 'upgraded' with the Cantina etc but having a new and inexpensive route to a figure can bring the price of an older figure down. Alfred on the other hand will keep going up until we see another moustache classic/new 52 version appear.
  11. Or see if the new one creates any less demand for the old one and has an impact on the price. It could very well go down in price seeing as it seems quite close.
  12. I think having the Falcon, TIE Fighter, 2 X Wings, Resistance Transporter, Kylo Ren's Shuttle, FO Transporter, Snowspeeder, Rey's Speeder along with Takodana, Jakku settlement and the micro fighters to give us a few extra, cheap figures they've pretty much covered most of it. We'll get the FO Star Destroyer at some point but there's another two films for that to appear in. If they brought it out now then where do they go from there? Starkiller Base was actually a planet with a big gun built inside it so even getting certain scenes such as the duel would have given repeat figures. The timing certainly does seems strange when looking at The ST, Spin Offs, Rebels as well as the PT and OT but they have a long term plan for what is coming out and when so as much as I'm (I'm)patiently waiting for more Cloud City sets I think they'll just come if and when they see fit and not regardless of whether they have two sets from a new IP coming out. If you asked everybody that walked into a Lego store whether they wanted two sets from Bespin or two new ships with new characters almost every kid in there would ask for the new ships whereas the AFOLs among us would probably want Bespin. We'd be outnumbered and as such we just have to wait.
  13. I'm sure all those that don't care about the new Lego IP and the resulting ban on photography will stop the hissy fits if it does indeed bring any OT or PT characters that we don't otherwise have. Attitudes towards it would change pretty quickly if any of the remaining Bounty Hunters did indeed appear. Who knows that the content of the series would be? If it wasn't for the Yoda Chronicles we wouldn't have the Ithorian Jedi to make Momaw Nadon or the Imperial Protocol Droid for the Sandcrawler. We may very well get something that's basically 4-Lom or Zuckuss or another figure that has an uncanny resemblance to a canon character. They're just leaks. It's the same each year... nobody has the RIGHT to see images if the company doesn't want them to. They'll appear soon enough. Let's not wish that the series fails before it's even started just because you can't see pictures of some sets early.
  14. I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the SY set with the red Batman, Sam Wilson etc along with some individual figures of things that might be interesting. There's a Xinh Captain America figure which is a copy of Christo's that looks like it's got the wings printed on it so I'll be dropping that onto an old SY copy of Christo's (although not keeping it as I have the original Christo). Grabbed Egghead although I'm not expecting too much on that. SY's GHostrider although I'll be getting rid of the legs as they've got that stupid grey blocks on them. I've also picked up that Dr Fate figure although I've got the dual moulded diver arms from the last Target Cube which should work perfectly for that. It's just the helmet which lets it down slightly.
  15. There aren't any pictures as far as I can tell as they're not allowed. The descriptions come from the memory of the people that saw them at the fair. I'm guessing different people were tasked with different themes etc to help remember as much as they could.
  16. I must admit that when I saw the list of new characters I thought someone was trolling the thread. I'm not 12 so I don't do the whole Instagram thing and as such I'm not entirely sure who Delta Customs is but if he's given Killer Moth, Blue Beetle, Red Hood etc in a list last year then he looks like he's right... if Ra's and Talia are in there too then that would be great. If people thought that the JL wave was a good one for diversity then this wave certainly rivals it for choice of new characters. I'm surprised that they've put a former exclusive figure in Lex Luthor (armoured) in a Juniors set, even if it's been updated slightly with printing. Not necessarily a bad thing, just surprising. We're still not hitting the diversity of Marvel's wave with 7 new characters, 3 updates and 1 repeat in the Spiderman sets (not including Civil War sets) but hopefully as the DCCU expands it'll bring a similar character count to DC.
  17. I can see this thread being locked or at the very least moved to Community as they're not official Lego but bootlegs printed on transparent plastic.
  18. I that no that looks better than Lego's upcoming version!
  19. I think Finn's hair is in the falcon but it looked a little bulkier in the images I saw. I think he's growing it out...
  20. I must admit having recently moved house we moved in with my in-laws for a few weeks while waiting for things to go through and I moved all my UCS stuff and some other large sets into the loft we were sleeping in as they were boxed and I'm still being told 'I can't believe how much Lego you own'... The three large boxes of stuff that was in storage I'll just have to keep to myself.
  21. A new 52 Catwoman like we saw in the Lego covers would be a superb figure... and definitely more part of the Bat family than a villain in my eyes... even as I'm reading Injustice Year 5 she's probably one of Bruce's closest allies. Definitely needs a new mould with those goggles on the mask piece.
  22. I've been feeling that for a little while. Hopefully once the Force Awakens things passes we may get something interesting. After the SY set with Sam Wilson Cap A there's been nothing I've been interested in... and I still haven't ordered that one yet!
  23. I don't think there's another Grodd. It was just used as a placeholder as it's a DC bigfig.
  24. I think it's got a March 1st release date (or thereabouts) so it'll be 2 weeks prior to that. Mid Feb basically.
  25. True... but some of those parts were available for a LONG time... they've also had items that originally weren't in stock that then became available such as Sabine's helmet and the dual moulded legs. Seeing as not all the parts from each set are available, or automatically listed, then you have to assume that the items that are in stock and available are assigned as such. It's probably safe to assume that things will continue to move in and out of stock or simply stop being available but I don't see them removing all licensed parts altogether. Not seeing as they've had plenty of opportunities to do so in the past and not stopped them each time sets are released.
