  1. Doll's Hux is pretty much perfect. Not sure about Rey variations though...
  2. Yeah. If they're the type that are glued I tend to run a sharp knife along to cut through the glued area which you can always keep neat as opposed to the thumbed tear sections on boxes. I prefer the tape on larger boxes so you can just slice through them and the box is in perfect condition.
  3. If it does feature Ra's and Talia then Delta Customs will be sat at home with a brandy and a cigar after all the grief he got after putting that list out.
  4. I've done both the 'box inside a box' thing but I've also started to flatten boxes for things that are built. Some of my sets... a lot of them actually are repacked away in their boxes. I think if it's something that you can just slice the tape and flatten things out then that'll protect the box too... which will help in long term value if looking for the option of selling in the future. I've bought boxes for incomplete sets, for resale purposes, and they always arrive flatpacked.
  5. Well you're missing around 150/200 figures from that before you can start to call it an 'ultimate' collection but it's a good start. Let's hope to see it grow. Welcome to EB by the way.
  6. They removed the Out of Stock availability. A lot of pieces have since left the list altogether in the case of the Darkseid Attack set but I think that's also to do with the fact it's retired, or at least isn't available form S@H. That's also happened to the Hobbit sets where there are now no unique figure parts listed.
  7. Well it wasn't that long ago that the hat for the Imperial Officer wasn't here but the torso and head was... now the torso and hat are available but no head. Black Widow's hair is another piece that came in stock quite late on... Who knows what parts may arrive in there...
  8. I can't see Phasma appearing in her entirety. There's a chance that another part may become available but if it does don't be surprised to find the torso is then sold out. That's happened with the Inquisitor as well as the Rebels Imperial Officer.
  9. Unfortunately that looks like horribly done Photoshop work. Whether the news is true or not this does nothing to help validate it. They look more like mocked up scenes from any of the games which have then been blurred beyond comprehension.
  10. This is the DC and Marvel stuff that's hitting eBay soon. I think there's around 70 figures and 15 bigfigs although there's probably 4 duplicate figures and the duplicate Groot.
  11. There's Bard's head: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb1022&idColor=90#T=C&C=90
  12. There is a seller on eBay who offered printing of heads and torsos with a minimum quantity of 5. I think it worked out around £3.50 per torso so it may be worth speaking to them although it's digitally printed. You're not going to get someone to screen print (or any other alternative to printing light colours on a clear background) on decals and then have them die cut the decals for you. You're starting to get into proper printing territory and as such setting up each of the plates, screening it, drying, new layers etc means you'll be touching pad printing costs. NACM Customs offer a printing service and I know there's a company in Germany that also offer a relatively easy service but it's the very short run you want that'll cause you the issue there.
  13. What would be considered 'larger than normal' I've never order more than 2 or so of any particular piece, 3 maximum. I'm assuming if you were ordering 30+ of a licensed torso or parts they'd consider you a reseller? There are so many seller on BL that have a large stock of those licensed parts that you must feel unlucky if you get called out for it when some of those BL sellers must have been making very large orders, and regularly, to stock up their store.
  14. Ha! That's actually sitting in a bag on my desk ready to go out to you! I was going to pm you later!
  15. Reading that email from Lego certainly sounds like they're flagging you for abusing the replacement parts service rather than the 'Buying' service. I've only once requested missing parts on a set but I've made around 6 or 7 orders from B&P's purchased bricks section. Didn't another user mention that Lego have stated they're happy for people to buy as many things and make as many orders aether like from PAB or B&P but it's the use of the free service that'll get you banned.
  16. I've always kept the ones with the good printing and some of them really are Lego quality. I'll take the picture of the other figures tomorrow an upload it. Let me know if you're interested otherwise they'll be going in eBay.
  17. Here's the Iron Man marks that I'll be listing. All of them to go and I'd rather they went in one go. I think there's two versions of Bones (I personally prefer the DLP but I know Agoodfella prefers the SY version). I'm also listing a big set of around 70 bootlegs and 15 bigfigs as a single lot which I just want rid of. Mostly Marvel but a few DC in there too.
  18. No problem. To be honest I'd rather sell them out of eBay but I know threads like this aren't for promoting sales. I'll take a photo and post it so you can see them together.
  19. I'm going to be listing my set of bootleg Iron Man marks soon on eBay... I think. There's quite a few there from DLP, SY and maybe one or two from Decool if they had better detailing over their rivals.
  20. If you see TFA figures for very low on eBay then there's a good chance they're fake. Some of them are actually very good... but they're still fake so beware of those. You're not getting a Lego Kylo Ren for £2 or so no matter how lucky you are. You can spot other fakes pretty easily as the bootleggers have never really done a good job of the PT and OT figures. There are also an increasing amount of bootlegged Rebels sets to go with the TFA ones so look out for those too.
  21. My comment was more about the fact that any character, whether rumoured or not (Ventriloquist was a very weak rumour) is possible as we already have some very bad people there. If we're to get another set... and if the guesses of Delta Customs are to be believed (they've been pretty accurate thus far) then it would indicate that we might, I don't think we can rule anyone out if it isn't Ra's and Talia.
  22. If you're in the UK you can pick up the updated Character Encyclopaedia for between £5 and £7 which includes a white prototype Boba Fett minifig so maybe go for that and get that figure with it. From there you can see which figures you want... and then make a note of any variations (such as the Jedi Luke from ROTJ having the Ewok Village and Final Duel slight differences). You can actually pick up parts form licensed figures from Lego and Bricks and Pieces, although go through the 'Buying Pieces' part rather than the replacement or broken section. You can pick up the parts for Luke from the Final Duel for around £1.40. Bricklink can be great but it can also be a bit overwhelming. My process can be a long one but I like it and I actually get most of my figures for very little in the process... I go through B&P from Lego and buy parts for figures that I know I can sell on eBay as well as for figures that I want. I then source any missing pieces from BrickLink with parts that I also want for new figures... this way you're building up items you can sell at the same time as getting the items you want. I then sell the figures I bought for resale on eBay and generally make a profit as well as having things that I wanted in the process. This generally helps with saving on postage etc as that can bump up the cost of orders. As others have said eBay can be good for a listing containing a few figures as well as for some things that fly under the radar and you can pick up cheap... otherwise you'll almost certainly find things cheaper on BrickLink... just be aware of any import duty on things you buy from abroad as that can be nasty shock and wipe out any savings you make. Also.. look out for the recent advert Calendar and make sure you pick up the next one. They have some nice figures in them too. Be warned... I started with the 9493 X-Wing and then thought about getting the rest of the rebel pilots... which grew into all rebels... which grew into rebels and imperials... which grew into everything other than PT or Clone Wars figures... Good luck with your collecting.
  23. I'm sure Joker's bodycount is higher than most... also killing Robin and paralysing Batgirl is notable. As well as cutting off Alfred's hand in another story. They're not the cutey ne'er do wells that populated the '66 TV programme. As Batman moved from the Forties, Fifties and Sixties into the Seventies and Eighties the characters and general tone got darker and with it the crimes got more sinister. They're all killers. It's part of what Makes Batman different to them in that he won't kill... I think each of the Bat Villains is pretty much fair game for creation.
