  1. Yeah.. there's not much new on there and quite a bit has fallen off. No parts for any new figure either... I was hoping for the new Supes hair but nothing.
  2. My SY set is on the way. Can you do a comparison photo for both the DLP and SY Sam Wilson?
  3. Apologies for possibly being the cause of the slight derailment. My comment about Plageius was more of a throwaway thing rather than thinking it's actually true. There's so much for the writers to work with besides them being able to create something totally new and mindblowingly creative and... apt... that it doesn't matter who he is or isn't. With regards to that image of Slave 1 for RO I definitely think it's more a placeholder based on spin-offs in general and Boba Fett is one of the spin-offs so it would make sense... sort of... even if not directly accurate for this movie. The more I look at the Toy Fair images that looks like Dengar so much I'm wondering how it could be anyone else... and having anybody from the OT in those sets could open a world of opportunities for that line.
  4. You might get away with Penguin although it's only his hat colour that's exclusive to this one isn't it?
  5. http://www.bookdepository.com/book/9780241195819?redirected=true&selectCurrency=GBP&w=AFC7AU992G608FA8Z3GZ&gclid=CPrZ9aLn1MoCFarpwgodhsEGDg Free Delivery Worldwide for Β£7 in total!
  6. You could probably buy a second and make a profit from it immediately by selling the figures individually then selling the build on. Or even splitting the build into Batcopter, Bike, Batmobile and then the cave itself. The building will probably be worth over Β£100 on it's own. Sell the vehicles on and then the figures and you're very much in the black on it...
  7. The book that white Boba Fett comes in is only Β£5 at most places here in the UK. The book is worth that alone and then you get a fantastic figure. Even for 80p I wouldn't risk a figure being poor when it's as cheap and available as the real one.
  8. Unless you go for the idea that Snoke is actually Plagueis.
  9. Poe Dameron, Lor San Tekka, Flametrooper.
  10. I think all of those figures look great. Croc, while not quite as spectacular as his LB3 design, looks much better now I've seen it at hi resolution, Batman Gas Mask is pretty generic as a figure bit we've covered most bat suits by now. I agree that Boomerang looks really well done. Pretty much perfect to be honest. Scarecrow is creepy enough without going full on Arkham, Red Hood's torso is great but for some reason the mask part seems a little lacking on him... maybe it's because I'm used to the more defined black lining on the customs rather than the subtlety in this print. Katana also looks superb. Shame about the lazy hick on the tractor but the tractor actually looks really nicely done!
  11. Makes sense. Did Ann Nocenti write it?
  12. How long has Ronan the Accuser been Blue Beetle?
  13. Yeah. I was tempted to pick up some of the Bespin Guards recently on the aftermarket to make up some ethnically diverse guards as per Kenner figures but it looks like I won't have to now.
  14. If that photo isn't allowed I'm happy to have this comment edited by a mod if needed. The TIE Advanced and A-Wing set look great and Sabine has her new hair and definitely a new torso as she has black arms on there. Grey and blue X-Wing looks great. Looking forward to Lor San Tekka. The blue on that Luggabeast looks odd but looking at images from the film there is blue all over it although it's rusted. I can't tell if that's Unkar shooting at Rey on the box though. That definitely looks like Denar in the Black and Red ship... is that the Eclipse? All of those vessels do look quite good. Is that a red Lightsaber blade just popping into the shot near Rex's AT-TE?
  15. I see those Mr Freeze '66 figures are starting to make an appearance! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEGO-Mr-Freeze-Minifigure-from-Batcave-50th-Polybag-EXCLUSIVE-/272117268508?hash=item3f5b74001c:g:5DkAAOSwFMZWqMAd http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lego-Mr-Freeze-Minifigure-Adam-West-1966-Classic-Batman-not-in-polybag-New-Real-/272113684064?hash=item3f5b3d4e60:g:J~EAAOSwX~dWo4Di
  16. It does to me, too. A white Chewie could either be an Abominable Wookie or, as other have mentioned, a snow splattered Chewie which would actually be one of the best figures released in the last couple of years and perfect to go with the recent / giveaway Han Hoth figure. I thought the last calendar was quite Hoth focused though with various things so I'm not hopeful it's a Hoth Chewie. Chrome C-3PO just seems like one of those figures that would be a premium promo item rather than a figure in a Calendar but the report indicates that they've actually seen them and it's not just rumour or speculation.
  17. I'd probably say Lepin and Bela are more set based companies rather than figures... I never buy bootleg sets. Lele is someone I probably missed and like most they've improved on their original offering but not someone who I'd have much hope for in regards to minifigures.
  18. I had that message too and a request to cancel the order. Seeing as I've already ordered one I just asked them to cancel and refund. To be fair the revised cost is still only Β£2.80 for 12 figures.
  19. I paid about a quarter of that for mine! I'm glad I know the people I do otherwise I'd have bene looking longingly at that for evermore. There's no way I'll ever pay that for a single Lego figure. He has a pad printer or has a very good relationship with someone who does his print and he must have the ability to create injection moulds as his moulding is as good as Lego's own. That's why his customs sell for what they do.
  20. As Briksen says: SY (Sheng Yuan): Excellent Quality for most sets with very accurate printing but tend to have some design issues when creating something new. Prone to the odd iffy set which tends to be a tester set for a new printing technique such as arm and leg printing or double sided heads. Moulds are excellent and are almost identical to Lego. S Brand: Possibly an offshoot of SY. Made a superbly printed Jungle Camo squad of six figures with almost 360ΒΊ Pad Printing to rival anyone. Not seen much else from them. DLP (Duo Le Pin): Very good quality which can rival SY at times and they look like they have bought SY's old moulding machines as they follow the issues of blocky shoulders that SY used to have. Decool: Very hit and miss. Can be excellent when they put their minds to it or they can be terrible with poorly aligned print and general quality issues. Dargo: Formerly terrible quality but have shown some improvement with a few of their recent Superheroes figures but a big step in recent Star Wars waves. If they carry on improving like this they could rival Decool but a long way to go to reach SY levels. Xinh: Another relatively mid quality product that has been poor in the past but has shown really improvement in their SW figures of late. Other notable mentions: Doll: Had some decent military figures over a year ago but nothing of note. Recently got on the SW bandwagon and may have also shown a step up with those figures. New 12 figure set is 80p on eBay so grab one while you can to check the quality out. Elephant: Made an odd range of Iron Man looking Super Hero figures that were apparently half decent if not for a couple of poorer figures in the sets. Also done some other waves but without much fanfare or anything of quality to put them with the above group. There are others but I'd avoid them and wouldn't buy them regardless of how low the price such as JLB and Lebq.
  21. I was just talking about Batman variations as I think I've got around 30 of them. I'm in the process of trying to pick up the older Batman range figures and I'm missing 4 of them now. As a Batman fan the 66 Cave is a must have and as has been said the aftermarket prices for those figures will be pushing towards a good chunk of the overall set cost.
  22. Regardless of the hoo-hah over the set I will be picking it up on first day of VIP release and it will be displayed in my office. I then need a display case to put all my Batman figures in although I'll need to leave room for the Mighty Micro and Scarecrow set variations.
  23. Yes it is. I thought I'd spent a lot on mine but I could have got 4 of them for that price. It's nice to know it's an immediate investment and my wife is hounding me to sell it already but what's the fun in that?
  24. No problem. Yeah. I normally pick up customs direct from the customiser rather than third party but it actually help being a customiser of the third party seller as they are often the same price due to a bulk discount and it certainly helped with me getting the Zebra Batman by Christo in my avatar. It can take a while for things to arrive from AE but that's normally if someone thing pre-order and they don't tell you... you're in for a 5 week wait! I've had things arrive din 7 days also so it's a bit of a lottery.
  25. I must admit I never order through PAB and only ever get pieces through BL or B&P as I've always found the PAB lacking.
