  1. Is this not it or have I missed something? By the way having just watched this there are lots of seemingly new scenes and action shots. It was posted today and I've not seen any of this before. It may contain spoilers so please don't watch if you're concerned about that but I'm also not sure there's anything new to this with regards to possible sets. No mobile phones or other devices were used or harmed in the recording and release of this footage.
  2. That's a great shout. That hairpiece is quite 'Injustice' and it would be nice to see a new variant of the Joker... Even a subtle design change but with that hair would stand out from the other Jokers we've had. For me the DKR Joker would have looked great with Dastan's hair in green and I think the 66 Joker would have been even better with Superman's new hair recoloured. While the LBM Joker may not be based on anything in particular that new hair would be nice.
  3. Hasn't that been clarified? I thought it had been said that these sets will replace the regular DC sets for that wave.
  4. That's the kind of figure SY could just make a perfect copy of. The old SY though... the good one.
  5. Alfred isn't too far from his appearance in Be-Leagured, the Lego animation except for him having spectacles. As for his appearance elsewhere the bald head with hair around the sides does look a little like the Batman Animated Series version although this one also didn't have glasses but it may just be that the screencap here was set in the early hours so Alfred donned some specs as his eyes were tired.
  6. It's a classic part of Batman's early era. The print on it would be a nightmare to produce though. I can only think something like that would appear in a very expensive set.
  7. I'm sure it'll come out in the wash... it always does...
  8. I'd kind of assume it's the Spinning Wheel room although it's also Aurora's room.
  9. I've been using BrickLink for 4 years now and never not received an order. Once or twice I've had wrong parts and the seller has simply sent the right parts and told me to keep the other parts they sent. I've ordered from all over the world with shipping to the UK and it doesn't matter whether it's Canada, USA, Czech Republic, Australia or Norway things have arrived safely and well packaged.
  10. Especially after he appeared in that Lego short animation a year or so ago.
  11. Not to derail the thread about the Rainbow Batman but bootlegs and Chinese knockoffs are one thing but a good custom whether it's pad printed or digital can be a superb addition to a collection. I wouldn't want anyone to confuse the two or link bootlegs with customs too closely. Being a purist is a completely fair and reasonable standpoint. As a minifigure fan I'm always interested in a well done custom figure but the design work needs to be right. It can have the most beautiful printing in the world but if it's badly designed it'll look crap. Same as having a well designed figure will look OK even if badly printed but if you put the two of them together you can get something exceptional. I've used bootleg parts but I can honestly put those parts against any Lego figure and nobody would spot the difference in plastic or print quality. I personally fear for my bank balance the day Christo prints up a Rainbow Batman.
  12. Ahhhh. Thought so. I didn't think anyone would be that lucky to pick these up at car boot and garage sales. I still remember a friend of mine picking up that 4500 Snowspeeder and thinking it was amazing. That design hasn't changed all that much since then.
  13. I think there's a Firestar Toys head for Freddie? Bingo! https://www.firestartoys.com/Shop/Minifigure-Parts/Minifigure-Custom-Design-Heads/29847-Custom-Mini-Figure-Heads-~-Freddy-Krueger.html I scare myself sometimes...
  14. I don't think anyone can confirm anything other than at least one Batman will appear in a set at this time. Not officially anyway. I don't know if any of our regular sources have any outline of who or what is involved in either the sets or the CMF line outside of guess work from the trailers. Ninja'd.
  15. I think that was something similar to what one of the bootleggers did with their Hulk figure. Stud piece in the neck with a head attached so it sound turn, to a point. Every licensed bigfig has been solid moulding though from the Wampa to Thanos.
  16. Probably the most expensive set in the line... ;) As Sci said it's not officially 100% confirmed but it's a very VERY large probability.
  17. Click on the Flickr link in my signature and go to page two of the photos. There she is with Constantine.
  18. It's a beautiful build but every time I look at it I wonder how easy it would be to mod it to turn it into Hogwarts. I know that might be sacrilege on such a monumental set but with just a change of roof colour and some walls it could work very well.
  19. That collar piece is not to be confused with the back of the neckerchief that has been around for a while. Well spotted. They may just print that on but it could certainly be a useful piece anyway. Butler in a future CMF line perhaps? New Magician? If that piece did become available I'd have it on my custom Zatana straight away.
  20. $500? So around £400 perhaps. It's a really good job I work for myself and my office sometimes needs updated fixtures and fittings... especially ones that are good talking points with clients. I'll just have to have a little word with my accountant...
  21. It's just the limitations of the digital print. I have a friend who owns a digital printing firm and their digital press is excellent quality and runs close to conventional litho print but you can't print metallics on that either. Pad printing works like pantone colours on litho printing presses. It's why I also hate gradients in minifigure designs. It's not part of the Lego design ethic and it's not something that looks good with plated printing.
  22. I think with something like this I'll just have to see which ones are first day purchases and which ones can wait until there's a 3 for 2 at Argos or similar. Eventually it'll be an entire wave purchase which is a first for me.
  23. All the elements for Alfred are in place such as the hairpiece for the combover and the tails that are used on Mickey. Same as '66 Catwoman was inevitable once we had the CMF Feline Costume with that hairpiece.
  24. Were these purchased from garage sales recently or were they stored in your garage and you're doing an inventory? I'm thinking the latter but if it's the former you've done well!
  25. Truly impressive MOC... I can imagine this thing is pretty big in the flesh but nothing feels like it's been done just to add scale. I love the teddy bear on Dick' side of the bed too!
