Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Robianco replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Also... with regards to minifigures, the halcyon days of almost all the parts of a figure being available seem to be gone. Recently you've been able to pick up the odd torso, legs or hair but not whole figures. It was only 18 months or so ago and we were able to buy the parts to make full figs from both Licensed and Star Wars sets (although ever ALL the figures in a set) but now we're limited to various items. Things such as capes are never in stock either. -
That's definitely a better hair choice. I'm assuming the reason they didn't use it is down the backpack issue as you've stated.

So from what I can see the only real difference (besides a slight sticker change) from Luke's Speeder in this wave to the cantina is the curved dark red tiles on the bonnet and the red 'R5-D4' heads on the three propulsion units?

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Robianco replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
They're just Lego parts made by Lego. The Bricks and Pieces site is part of customer service which allows you to order parts that might be missing from a set you've recently bought. As an extension of that they allow you to BUY certain bricks and minifigure parts which are from those sets which is why the B&P section of the site requires searching mostly from set numbers. No custom or third party parts are available there. -
That Joker is a club me of Brent Waller's Mime Prince of Crime custom. I've got his version but I'll probably pick this up to compare. They've been very quick to clone that.

Welcome to Eurobricks. I think there's already a couple of threads in the Star Wars forum that fit your questions. One of those is the General Lego Star Wars discussion the other is the very, very, VERY underused Future Star Wars Sets thread.

As long as it's DLP or SY that make the suits rather than Pogo or Dargo I'll be happy.
-
DLP doing those two figures does actually give me hope that they'll be very good indeed. The swimsuit Batman is different to the official one as the DLP one has a bare torso but the CMF actually has a swim short with sleeves.

Dengar would seem like an odd choice as he was only recently in the Freemakers sets. The price of IG-88 from the SSD has always been quite high so having that as an updated figure could be great. Fett is already appearing in another set so if they're going for the original 6 then that leaves us with three options. As mush as I'd really like to see a dual moulded Bossk I would hope they'd fill the other two slots with 4-Lom and Zuckuss. 4-Lom has appeared in an animated short so I'd probably lean towards that as definite one of them. I just can't see Lego giving us them all in one £12 battle pack. If it is the original 6 they're going for it would mean that 5, if not all 6, of them will be on the shelf at the same time in relatively inexpensive sets.

I think Rogue One will be different to the full Star Wars Trilogy sets (or trilogy of trilogies if you will) in that it's a side story and once we've had the two waves of these we're approaching Episode VIII territory... and that will then be the focus of things. They have so much to draw from with The OT, PT, ST and Rebels (whether they do any new Freemakers is unknown)... we then will have the Han Solo movie... I can't see the spinoffs having too many legacy releases further down the line.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Robianco replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yes. I think it was actually confirmed as a UK giveaway first. From 16th you can pick it up in stores with a qualifying purchase (I'm also assuming that means online at S@H too). -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Robianco replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
It certainly doesn't look the cleanest at that kind of enlargement but I bet looking at the same figure at normal size would make it look absolutely fine. Fingers crossed these kind of things are isolated and most of them are pretty sharp and clean. -
I was thinking the same thing looking at those.
-
I think it'll be $30.

Yeah... but I think the Black Series Titanium models actually had it at white so we were actually much closer here in Legoville. That concept art clearly details the insignia 'Rank badge and cylinders are same as 'IMPERIAL ADMIRAL KASSIUS KONSTANTINE'. So the figure we have is Admiral Thrawn rather than Grand Admiral Thrawn.
-
We can't blame the Lego designers for that. The Lego designers have yet again done a great job of designing a figure from the concept art which turns out to be incorrect at time of release.
-
I really should have these stores bookmarked so I can find them easily to take a look. To be fair that actually doesn't look that bad... Considering Christo's last one sold for £415 on eBay the £1.40 price tag would make it a lot better value.

Are you sure that's DLP506? Doesn't sound like a DLP number. Is it something that's KOPF or similar for now?
-
Can anyone remember whether it was SY or DLP that had the wave which contained the recent SDCC Captain America figure?
-
I must admit the older General Lando torso seems more accurate being in dark tan and it still has all the collar, chain and rank detailing on it... the orange seems way off. As much as the head is updated the old one seems like a better option. It doesn't also seem odd that they would get the Grand Admiral rank badge so wrong. Normally I'm far more positive about sets and figures and completely understand that there will be waves that will seem like lots of repeats etc but the figure designers normally are pretty spot on with these things. I was a little put off by Wedge's green helmet colouring in 75098 but after looking at photographs of the helmet it does appear accurate so I know they pick up on the slightest thing to make them accurate but these two torsos seems to miss the mark for that lack of detail. The legs on the technician are perfect for a purist Dagobah training Luke. The rebel dark tan vest with brown shoulder straps would be perfect with them... just stick light flesh arms on and you're away. I think there's a couple of pieces on the Speeder that look new to me including the curved tile element. If they hit B&P I'll probably just pick those up to update my Cantina Speeder and leave that set out.
-
Ha!... I didn't even look at any of the text. Talk about stating the obvious! Yeah... I think it was Decool did a previous Mark 1 with the helmet? This might look like a pretty good alternative to the MH80 figure of the game design.
-
That new DLP Iron Man looks odd... is the welding and circuitry meant to be a Mark 1 but with a regular helmet?

That looks great. If I'm not mistaken the only thing I can't find in there is some of the SDCC and NYTF figures. The 2011 and 2014 Batman SDCC figures are in the frame and the Superman figure was the same as was released. I particularly like them being set by character although as each new wave is released it means redoing the display. looks fantastic though. -
I don't remember them doing Black Widow but they did Black Canary along with Supergirl. They're actually copied from Arealight curved torsos: http://www.arealightcustoms.com/shop/Curved-Torso and with printed versions here: http://www.arealightcustoms.com/shop/Printed-Curved-Torsos/
