    I am sure if it had gotten the planned 3 year run all those would be released, but I understand it left the fan-base frustrated over missing out on such important scenes. Maybe Lego will release new sets in the future, just look at how well HP are doing now, one of the reasons they brought it back was because it was the most asked for theme not in sale in Lego stores etc so start asking for it

    Yes it is a treasure chest of new animals Maybe something from a farm or zoo setting could work

    I think the widlife resuce mission set is just a parts pack so the animals could come from several different continents. I looks more to me that the designers sat down and looked at what new animal moulds we have that could be useful and made recolors of those then found the missions later: Frog; designers love to use it and now they got it is a new color (3? new this year alone) Black panther juvenile; we got the mould last year and it can go many years until we get a new set with a adult one in they could include it so it is very useful to include one here Owl; the flying owl mould is rather new and there is a lot of colors we have not gotten it in yet so a no-brainer to include one here, very useful in other themes like HP also Hare; we have wanting that in a more natural color since the mould came out so it is a great mould to include in this set Adult crocogator; is something the kids love, easy to make missions with and pair well with the juvenile Juvenile crocogator; have only been in CMF so far so make sense to include it in a new colour as well Other animals that fit the bill: Otter; was probably a choice between that and the hare, but the hare is more common and easily recognizable Shark; lost to the croc since it is more land based that is a better option Juvenile elephant; probably to big and expensive to include Eagle; owl was probably a better fit in this set Monkey; in several sets last year so maybe that is why they did not include it could be more that I din not remember right now

    I would not say there was anything half-hearted about the line, but it did not sell enough to kids and there was a lot fewer AFOLs at the time so the lifespan was cut short. Had it got one more year of set I am sure Gondor would have popped up as well and I think the sets would have done a lot better today if it came out now instead. However personally I prefer non licensed Castle and Pirates sets, but most of the LOTR/Hobbit sets were good I think

    I my mind it is better that it is big/cost more as long as the set is worth the money it cost, since we rarely get anything from Castle and Pirates we better get something good when we do. If there had been no 90th year vote and we only got the GWP forestmen set this year it would only serve as a appetizer and make us even more hungry for a big Castle set. Now I hope we can have rather full Castle bellies for a year or two at least. With the B-bay I do not feel a desperate longing for a new normal pirate wave at the moment, I still want a big D2C fortified town for the solders since they where missing from the set. The B-bay set for Pirates was fantastic so I hope this can be something similar for Castle (I do not think the blacksmith do it, it is a good set, but the scale is to big compared to previous sets and it leaves something to be desired both with minifigs and animals, something closer to 10193: Medieval Market Village could have done it)

    No should have popped up by now, at least all of them are only limited in June and July in Norway at least

    Found out that the farm sets here in Norway are limited to one retailer (+ Lego) in June and July. So that is really good news, I have no problem waiting a couple of months or more to get a better deal Hopefully it is the same in other countries as well, I am fine with exclusive retailer sets for a limited time compared to forever

    I agree, it most likely will look great, but I can not wrap my head around where they use over 5000 parts with only one wagon.. Really surprised they did not include the King's Cross Station guard and since 8 of the 20 figs are of the trio, I think 4 figs from the epilogue should be included (+ the guard). Almost 500$ + bricks for the rest of the cars and motor (was sure that was included for the price) to make in complete do not sound like the best deal ever, but will wait for the picks to see what it looks like Is there a coal car included at least?

    They need the service to ship broken and missing part to customers that have something wrong with a set they buy. The sale part is just a service on the side for AFOL I think

    It is 2 in Stockholm I believe and that is a lot better then 0 as we have in Norway

    I think it for some reason it is a bigger hurdle to climb from CMF to BAM/set then it is from set to BAM/other set. If I remember correctly the CMF are produced another place then normal parts so they must make a new mould or something like that to include them in sets So it was a very good sign the foal showed up that fast other times it has been years since the animal was in a set before it made the transfer. I think it mainly has to do with where they can use them, flamingo and toucan probably need a subtheme that fits them and that do not show up so often. Mouse and hermit crab is more odd that we have not seen, the former are dual moulded and the latter consist of several parts so it seems Lego prefer to use rat and crab instead maybe

    Have we ever gotten a animal in a new colour in a City advent calendar before?! Normally we get at best a dog that is really common, now we get a amazing new foal and 2 other animals that are rare and new this year. Must be the best City calender ever I stooped buying them after HP got one, but now I must start again it seams

    Fantastic news that they reuse the CMF mould in a new colour this quick, maybe we can hope for a black or brown one in BAM so we can pair up the most common horse colours with a similar coloured foal Me too, probably will end up getting both, but the HP one must be really good to beat the 3 animals in the City one this year

    I was sure it was a render issue when the pictures first pop up, but Buckbeak comes in white this year

    Looks like the frog comes in a new colour "Vibrant Yellow" in 11022 space mission (the set also have the 2 other new frog colours this year).

    I tried to call in an order some animals, off course no luck there, but it was worth a shot

    I was hoping for a limited farm set that would be revealed today, but that wish backfired and at least for now all the farm sets are limited to one retailer in Norway

    Just found out that all the farm set are for sale only at one toy-store chain here Hope that is only a limited time like last years wildlife sets or it is going to be very hard to get a decent discount for them
