  1. Nice, would work well with Fabuland figs Got my hands on the castle this week
  2. No owls or knights in Billund unfortunately Lego house and Legoland did not have the same parts in several cases so combining them I managed to make a wizard(- the owl) and a witch at least. They had the new parts for Halloween, but very few animals. Must be the first time I have bought more headpieces then animals, normally it is the other way around At least I managed to buy the owls from a BL seller in Skærbæk, but the knights sold out the moment they where in sight the first evening (before I arrived) From what I heard all the BAM parts are made in the same quantity. So when they order the parts animals and army-builders like the knight come in the same number as a "boring" city fig and a carrot. The former disappear within days and the latter stay there for months probably. Hopefully in the future they will make more of the popular parts
  3. Who is the new design lead again, I may have seen it before, but getting old and forgetful
  4. For once Norway is in the right group Yes, I am waiting for the June animals Since they now have more or less the same parts as before they removed the 2022 parts, new ones should be next in line right
  5. No, It is another potato-camera picture, so could be pearl gold or something different
  6. Next Pirate set
  7. Next Castle set
  8. The new hen comes in the bricktober pirate ship. Not very useful info since there is a lot of cheaper and easier ways to get it, but it is the 4th set it is in so becoming rather widespread already Really hope we get recolored piglets, lambs, calfs and/or foals in BAM (hopefully all 4)
  9. "Starting week 34 (next week) the Denmark warehouse which processes “Standard” Pick a Brick orders, will be increasing warehouse staff and we should expect that between now and November, the order backlog is reduced and eventually eliminated."
  10. Could be a animal that suddenly pops up unexpectedly in the CMF Not sure what kind of fig it would come with, but the flamingo showed up with a old lady as a garden ornament
  11. I think we must expect "two steps forward and one step back" for a while now. When new parts are added a lot will order them and they will sell out quickly, however if they manage to keep adding new/sold out parts and reduce the order handling time things are moving in the right direction. According to them November is when they expect to be back on track with full speed ahead
  12. I do not think so However I am sure it is because they used up the budget on other printed parts, so they where left with a choice of including him or maybe just add another lion knight fig instead. Probably made the choice of including him since that will ad more diversity to the figs. It do not looks like a coincidence that a highly detailed one was added to the BAM selection
  13. If you only grabbed them without feeling them first, that was pretty lucky
  14. That would only work if we all did it or a lot of us at least, since that is not happening this will only end up with you unhappy since you are missing out on figs you really want So instead it is probably better to stop buying random figs and only buy from places where you know what you get. I am sure the sales will go down and if enough people give feedback TLG might do something, but they are supposed to be blind bags after all we are just "cheating" now. Maybe AFOLs will start swamping figs whenever we meet, however some army-builder figs or new animal moulds etc are bound to be more popular than others. A thing Lego brand stores should have is, buy a fig, open it, if you do not want it you could swap it directly with another from that series from a selection of say 20 open figs
  15. Yes, just look at the forestmen GWP, people were going crazy about that and it did not sell out the first time and lasted a fair bit into the next round before it was gone. Previously some GWPs has disappeared after a couple of hours, maybe they just have become better at calculating demand and produce more sets. If I was to guess I would say that it is more time consuming to produce 50 different sets that are sold out all the time, then making a lot more of the 50 sets before they are released
  16. OK, so it is more or less as before. Previously it was digging horizontally for parts, but now it is digging vertically instead
  17. BAM Going to Skærbæk fan weekend for the first time this year so hopefully I can find some good BAM treasures in the Lego house
  18. How deep are the trays with minifig parts in the new set up, looks shallow and then it can not have room for many parts in it right? As long as they top them up often that is not a problem if they don`t it should result in slim pickings rather soon after a refill
  19. The winter wave is always police, fire etc, the most interesting City sets usually turn up in the summer wave Just as a note, my local grocery store started a 30% sale on City sets a couple of weeks ago and one of the only ones to sell out after a few days was the hen house. Maybe I live in rural area with a lot of hen owners or it could be a popular set
  20. The winter waves in City usually do not have much of interest for me, but sounds like a couple of them could be interesting at least
  21. If you know they will do this every year, why do you buy every set on day one
  22. Contact Lego on the "missing parts page" and they will send you the parts (often wise to double check all the left over bags first to be sure they are missing)
  23. I do not know Brick Fanatics source, however the other information circulating did not mention animals taking longer time etc. I do not know the original source for that either so will not repost it here, but if it is correct we should see improvements in PAB this fall
